Why punish Adam and Eve?
They didn't know the difference between good or evil.
How were they to know disobeying broski was evil?
I mean, didn't god already know they'd eat it? He purposely
plunged mankind.
And none of you followers think it a least bit sadistic.
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoDid Satan murder less people than God?
In the old testament, Yahweh slaughters like crazy.
I know Christians look to the new testament, but that implies his actions in the old testament is a mistake right? He's to be perfect, shouldn't he already have had the morality and forgiveness you all praise in the new testament?
20 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoMy cat keeps vomiting...?
My sisters cat has become very lethargic, he mews loudly every now and again, he won't eat, he vomits yellow.
His stomach feels round, but I don't know whats wrong with him. :( She's not in the state right now, and I cant take him to the vet.
What can I do for him in the meantime?

8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoAtheist, Christopher Hitchens or Richard Dawkins?
Aside from both being awesome, which do you prefer?
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoWhy do Christian's always justify this!?
It is insane and SICK the amount of MURDER that the bible contains.
LITERALLY, hundreds of thousands of people SLAUGHTERED.
Reasons; most of the murders are trivial.
Instead of showing the graces of a 'loving' god, Yahweh prefer the people HE CREATED WITH FREE WILL are killed.
And it is completely against the commandments.
For instance, King David slaughters hoards of people, God is cool with it, but
he covets Uriah's wife Bathsheba, his first born son is killed.
His innocent, first born son. Wow.
There's so much bloodshed in the book, and you Christian's
think it's OKAY, whine and state we take it out of context, then
drill the Muslims for their immoral, yet similar, behavior.
You wanna whine about Muhammad being a pedophile,
while simultaneously believing and justifying the murder for 42
children (or grown adults, as you try to argue) for picking on
Elisha's bald head.
WTF.
He's obsessed with death, so much that he decides to kill his son
for the people he willingly slaughters anyway.
Why do you believe this is justified, when you prosecute other
heinous religious ideas?
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoI've been watching a lot of atheist videos...?
I've been watching this youtube user, TheThinkingAtheist, and I like his channel.
It really shows the silliness of Christianity and other religions.
Anyway, wondering if any atheist know any other good atheist-based channels?
So far I know:
The Atheist Experience
The Thinking Atheist
Thunderf00t
Thanks.

1 AnswerRock and Pop10 years agoMy vegetarian sister thinks she needs fish :(?
Basically 2 years ago my sister went veg with me. While I was able to prosper by moving to VA, and becoming a healthy vegan, she's been stuck in NC with my family with lower income and becoming unhealthy.
Basically, she lives only on boca and morning star. No grains, no fruits, rarely any veggies, or nuts and such.
Because she doesn't have a stove and only a microwave, she doesn't have room for much.
She doesn't want to eat meat, but her doctor told her to or see a nutritionist. They think she has fibromyalgia, hepatic steatosis (fatty liver), and her blood pressure sucks balls. On top of that, she's always had anemia, plus PCOS (if it serves any relevance).
She said if she has to eat meat, it's gonna be fish 'cos she can't imagine eating cows and such.
What I want to know is, can she take multivitamins instead? I don't want her dependent on them, but just until she becomes dependent on her own?
6 AnswersVegetarian & Vegan10 years agoWhy does my headache go away when I play music?
When I have strong headaches, probably from eyestrain or hunger, picking up my bass guitar and practicing some random bass line helps my headache go away.
Pretty quickly too, 1O-15 minutes, and POOF! The headache is gone!
Anyone know why this is so?
2 AnswersPain & Pain Management10 years agoAside from gay rights and abortion, what other influences does religion have on government?
And should we model ourselves in a more secular fashion, or a more religious fashion?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoI think I'm eating too many nutrients?
:S
Sounds silly I know.
I have a surplus in the recommended daily servings of certain nutrients, look:
http://i56.tinypic.com/24xfapy.png
(I used Fitday.com, a site I found in someone elses question)
Anyway, as you can see, I eat a surplus of this stuff, 88g of protein in ONE flippin' day, for example.
Vit. A i need to fix, D is deficient because it doesn't take into account sunlight, the other ones are close enough for me not to worry.
Anyway, the big ones, should I be worried?
How can I modify vitamin A into my vegan diet?
4 AnswersVegetarian & Vegan10 years agoI'm all for secular government, but this I don't agree with!?
My history teacher lightly touched on the secular government of France.
I had no idea it was secular, but their secularism is soooo secular that it is very intolerant to religion. I myself dislike religion, but people have rights.
I mean, I think all religions are... primitive to say the least, but to the point where wearing a cross or done in a hijab becomes a intolerable act in the eyes of government?
My teacher say three girls in France got in trouble because they wouldn't remove their hijab.
Is this true?
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoChristian's how do you discipline your child?
Do you whip them and torture them for the rest of their lives because they broke a few of your rules?
Or is that immoral?
Or do you simply punish them for a moment, then let them resume their lives?
Chances are you choose the second.
So why do you always say that god is just when he tortures his children for all of eternity?
You always use disciplining your own children as an analogy, but fail the whole eternity thing.
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoWho actually cares if we're meant to eat meat?
Like seriously, why does this keep coming up? It is my honest opinion that most vegetarians/vegans who turn to their diet for ethical reason only really do so because how they are treated today. I don't really know if we were herbivores, or meant to be omnivores, but if it's the latter it doesn't bother me in the least. Why would it?
I'm convinced that my early ancestors didn't inhumanely hoard and treat their hunts horribly. Most likely was a strategic kill that resulted in a quick and hopefully painless death.
As much as I hate the idea of hunters (oh, trust, I REALLY hate the idea of hunting), at least they are not contributing to the system I've grown to hate.
So if humans are original omnivores, I'm FINE with that. That can be natural or whatever.
What isn't natural is the force breeding, hormone injections, poorly fed, horrid living conditions, and that God-awful method of killing, that happens on the day to day basis.
So go ahead, if we're omnivores, rejoice in your victory, as for the meat industry today though, that's something that we all should try and fix regardless if you eat meat or not.
What are your thoughts?
22 AnswersVegetarian & Vegan10 years agoI had a dream about Westboro Baptist Church?
I watched a documentary on them yesterday, so naturally they were on my mind.
I was scared, not scared that they were right, but scared of what kind of people they
had become.
Anyway, so I went to sleep with that on my mind. I remember a few tidbits but nothing
important, but as I was in a haze, half sleep and half awake, I heard a deep chuckle
and a chill went up my spin. Guess it was the 'Devil', loool.
Damn you creepy *** flippin' dreams.
R/S, what's your thoughts on WBC?
JSYK, this doesn't waver my atheism at all.
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoHow do the Christians of R/S feel about Westboro Baptist Church?
Just finished watching a little documentary on them.
There's nothing that could change their beliefs.
I'm especially curious of Fireball's answer.
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoWhy do people blame corruption on atheist?
People claim that today's problems with society comes from atheist and their ways.
But they are wrong.
Being against God, and not believing there is a god are two different things.
Atheism doesn't mean you want to corrupt.
Christians should say that people who are against God (therefore acknowledging his existence) are evil, not those who don't believe there is a god.
And even still, how can they correlate corruption to atheist when in fact, there's no evidence, that can't be too easily debunked, that shows this?
Christians like to say that atheist purposely go against the word of God, but why would we? We'd have to acknowledge his existence, therefore not being atheist at all.
Christians, the world is shitacular because people with shitacular standards, rules, and beliefs.
Not atheism.
