Funky Bars in London?
I am still struggling to find a venue in London for my 30th birthday next month.
I am looking for somewhere that is a bit lively and not too sedate (ie not a restaurant) but somewhere that is a bit funky and you can still have a conversation. A friend has suggested the Foundation bar near Covent Garden but without going there I have no idea what it'll be like. Preferably the place would be somewhere near Charing cross/London bridge/Waterloo stations or a short cab ride away from them.
Any help would be most appreciated!
Thanks
2 AnswersLondon8 years agoWhen will the RFU change the England kit?
I am looking to buy my hubby an England rugby top for his birthday and they all seem to be on offer at the moment which makes me think it is due to change soon. I have had a little mooch around the internet but nothing seems to mentioned.
Any ideas?
1 AnswerRugby9 years agoHelp buying new music for Christmas....?
I am looking to buy a music CD for a family member who has an unusual taste in music. He doesn't normally go for anything 'mainstream' and I am looking to buy something a little different.
Some from his collection would include; The Pogues, Spin Doctors, ZZ Top, James Brown, Deep Purple, Muddy Waters, Massive Attack, Frank Zappa, Pink Floyd, Lemon Jelly..... To name but a few.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance x

11 AnswersCats10 years agoPainful shin-splints---Advice?
I have started running and I suffer from shin splints which normally I breathe through and they go. But today I did a Zumba class and I really suffered with my shins, more so than running. I wasn't able to jump properly. I have heard of the warm up exercises where you walk on your heels to stretch them out but this seemed to have little impact.
What is causing my shins to hurt so much and how can I stop them or prevent them from hurting?
Thanks in advance :-)
3 AnswersRunning10 years agoHow many calories in a peice of homemade lasagne?
I went for dinner at my friends house last night and she made lasagne from scratch. As far as I know she used the following ingredients; minced beef, jar of tomato sauce, I am presuming white sauce (probably from a jar) topped with Leicester cheese and of course pasta strips (approx 3 layers). Nothing else I don't think as she cooks very simply. We had it with a basic salad, no dressing.
I am currently calorie counting and would love to know approx how many calories were in it.
Thanks!

3 AnswersOther - Latin America1 decade agoMy cat has a limp, can you help? :-(?
My 4year old ginger puss seems to have developed a limp within the past couple of hours. I have inspected his back paw and there seems to be a little blood coming from the side of the main pad. I cant see a cut as such. I have tried cleaning it with some tepid water and a cotton bud but he doesn't really like this and runs away. He doesn't seem to be in too much pain, but he is limping. I don't want to take him to the vets and incur costs if there is something I can do to remedy it myself at home.
I am pretty new to the cat world and would love some advice.
Thanks
4 AnswersCats1 decade agoCan cats get moles like humans do?
We have recently been adopted by a ginger tom! We have had him checked out by a vet to check his health and for a chip and he said he was in good health apart from sore gums.
One thing I have noticed over the past week is lumps under his fur. Upon inspection, they seem to be flesh coloured moles on the skin just like human moles. I keep discovering more of them and don't know whether it is because i'm looking for them or they are increasing in numbers. Is this natural? The cat doesn't seem to be in any distress and the flea treatment we have administered seems to be working. He is between the ages of 5-6.
Any help/advice would be most appreciated.
