I am going to snake my sewer line via a 3 inch clean out. Should water be flowing at the same time i am snaking or do i do it dry? Or any other ideas on how to do this?

I am intrested in getting monthly pest service for the bugs around my home. Does anyone know what the monthly charges are about/ I live in the Los Angeles area.

... a 6 gallon one made by eemax. They have the one with the glass lined tank. I am concerned about putting an electric heater in my attic, as my weather conditions in the summer time are very HOT. Thus making my attic very hot as well. I just wonder if it is safe. I hear about people doing it all the time. Whats your input on it?

I have recently purchased a vizio 65" 3d tv that is connected straight to the wall via my cable provider. But i dont get a few select channels properly. Does anyone know why this is? Here is exactly the problem: I get the picture clear as can be, just no sound from it. It is channels 2 4 5 7 9 11. Those are the major ones here in the Los Angeles area. Any help is greatful. i have drilled holes in my 2x4's to put my pex into. After putting my pex through the holes, is it ok to use that foam can spray stuff (GREAT STUFF) to seal up the hole? I am concerned that it might eat the plastic. I wanted to put it in the hole to help with drafting and that clanging noise, maybe it is not really needed. Thanks for your input.

I recently pexed my home myself as i found it to be so easy. I noticed at one point that some of the fittings would actually turn if i twisted them.

My questions are:

"is this normal?"

"Are you supposed to be able to turn the fittings even after you nogo'd them and it was ok?"

I used 1/2 inch pex on brass fittings, and my water pressure is testing out at 50# at the meter. thanks in advance greatly appreciated.

I purchased some oak RSI kitchen cabinets at Home Depot that are not stained or cleared. They are bear. I purchased a few like this because they didnt have the medium oak finish of them. How can i make them the same as the other medium oak finishes? Thanks for looking and answering.

I have been using type M and it seems kinda hard to put it into a straight coupling. By using the L or K type... would it go in easier? I am obviously putting flux on first, but it just doesnt seem rite. Its a little tough to get it in there. I looked for the straight couplers that are a little wider that makes it easier to make the pipe go in, but only found them on the 90degree ones for the most part. I have seen "T" types with it, but not straight couplers. I think they call it flared but not sure. I am using 1/2 inch pipe. Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading!

A young friend of mine who is a dependent of the court (foster care), a young 17 years old, to whom I have mentored to for the past 9 months or so has stole from me, in a sense. Here is what happened: I gave him my credit cards to use to purchase a few games on line with my permission months back. But un-knownst to my knowledge, the credit card numbers were stored into his online gaming accounts. Recently he racked up $400 - $500 dollars in online gaming charges without my permission, and he acknowledges this. Because I am one who DOES NOT tolerate any b/s, I swiftly turned my back on him, under an agreement with him (and a bit with his social workers and other supporters); I purchased an iPod and lap top for his personal use. The agreement was as long as he maintained his grades to an acceptable level (which he has); I would do these kinds of things for him. It was all verbal and not written. He also had other things of mine that he said I bought for him but I didn’t, like an Xbox, ps3, and games for them, a wii, guitar and amp, cell phone and more. Those items he took from me one day with my permission. He put up an extraordinary fight to keep them. He went as far as saying that I bought them for him as gifts (which I didn’t). He lied to his caretakers, social workers, girlfriend and me about all this. He told me the iPod was stolen from him but to only call me back a half hour later and said he would bring it back to me tomorrow, this is how much he valued it. He was so intent to keep the items, but I demanded EVERYTHING back as a consequence to his actions. That’s why he put up a vigorous fight as well as I did. I love this kid. He is well spoken and very smart. A real ladies man with a good heart. I know he has been hurt at home; this is why he is in the system. Though he can be very manipulative and persuasive. He is a very good b/s’er. I know he is hurt, but won’t say it. Likewise so am I. He is a special kid to me. What do you think I should do? What would you do? I know kids do wrong things, but have I taken it to the extreme by getting the items back with no word of returning them to him? Was I right on what I did? He says I’m a douche and our friend-ship doesn’t matter anymore. I am sure this is coming from anger though. He has been let down much in his life, and I want to be a positive role model for him. But I am confused and hurt. Please give me some extreme feedback if you will. Thank you.
