  • My son lost a permanent tooth, now what?

My 8 year old has not lost any baby teeth nor are any loose. Today he came home from school to tell me he lost a tooth! He was excited to show me but it's not right. He has 1 permanent tooth in the front lower jar showing through and then next to that one he has an indentation. He told me he lost the tooth that was next to the permanent tooth but he lost it and can't find it....I didn't even know that his permanent teeth were coming in behind his baby teeth. They call it the "shark" tooth look. I will obviously be calling the dentist in the morning but does anyone know why this has happened?

  • Converting a house into 2 apartments will increase or decrease the property value?

I just bought a large 6 bedroom farm house that needs pretty much everything to be redone. Since I am practically starting from scratch I am wondering if I convert it to 2 apartments if it will do anything to the property value. I plan on renting the house/apartments and was hoping to get 2 smaller families move in then to have 1 large family, plus I figure I would get more rental income if I did this. However I do not want to decrease the property value, any suggestions would be great!

  • Is there anything I could do or take to give me energy during pregnancy?!?!?

This is my 3rd pregnancy. I have a 6 year old and a 2 year old. My 2 year old is extremely busy and between him, my house, my 6 year olds t-ball games/practice and me working full time I am SOOO tired and lazy. My husband is getting really annoyed with me that I don't want to do anything. He said it's not my pregnacy and I'm just lazy. My first two pregnancies I never experienced this. It is so hard for me to get up off the couch to do anything. It is affecting my family and my house and I just don't know what to do to make everyone happy. I am only 9 weeks pregnant so I am hoping this will fade but I was just wondering is there anyone else who experienced this with just one of their pregnancies, what did you do? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

  • Can I collect part time unemployment benefits?

I have never done this before so I am not sure if it's possible. Right now I am our only full time employee. I work for a small optical office and our doctor left for 4 weeks for maternity leave. She told me to work the full 40 hours all month so I wouldn't lose any of my hours. Last night her husband called me and said he wanted to reduce my hours because they simply cannot afford to pay me my full wages. I want to ask if I could lower my hours but still collect part time unemployment benefits. I cannot afford to lose hours right now we are in the middle of building a house and I am pregnant so I soon will not be working full time for a while. What are my options and if I do ask for part time unemployment will that be better for them too so they won't have to pay me as much? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

  • Long Term Side Effects with Prednisone usage in dogs.?

I have adopted a 9 year old female pitbull from the SPCA about 3-4 months ago. I did not notice when I got her, I guess I was just over excited about getting a dog, but her right back hind leg had edema. I thought maybe she did something at my house because she was jumping around like a puppy when I brought her home. I called the vet and took her in and he said it was inflammed from her lymph nodes not draining properly. So we did the prednisone thing and it worked, until I started the every other day thing. So the vet told me to give her a quarter of the tablet every day forever. She feels so much better, she runs now, she can jump, she is just overall a happier dog with the prednisone. I have been reading about long term effects and my question is what is actually long term? Does it take months or years to develop some of the side effects? I just want her to be comfortable. Any stories of prednisone usage would be great, thanks.

  • Question about paternity testing with twins?

My husbands twin brother "might" have a son and is being young and stupid about it. He is saying it cannot possibly be his son, blah blah blah. This girl swears up and down that it is. She doesn't have money to get lawyers involved, so I thought maybe we can get a home paternity test just to see what that says. However, my brother in law will not take the test. If my husband takes it, it should state the truth right? They are identical twins, they do have the same DNA right?

  • Small business tax question?

My fiance and his brother own a small contracting business. They each own 50% of the company. They grossed $32,000 last year with it which makes about $16,000 for each of them. Now when filing on turbotax for this business, do we also need to file a personal tax for my fiance? Because with the business he will already be paying taxes on income, we shouldn't have to file that amount again with personal right?

  • Homeowner will not pay contractor?

Hi my husband is a contractor and worked for a homeowner whose house was destroyed by water damage. The homeowner filed to the insurance company and received 2 party checks. The checks were made out to the homeowner and my husband. The homeowner cashed all four checks. These checks were suppose to be signed by my husband but he forged his name. He refuses to pay us the rest of the money owed to us because he has some financial problems. Can we get him for forgery? What will happen to him? Are we guaranteed our money if we do contact he state police? Any info would be great!
