good question, sir
How can I play a sound effect without any latency, lag, or delay in Swift 3?
I am programming an app that will play a sound effect every time I press a button and stop the sound when I release the button. I will be pressing the button very rapidly. Unfortunately, the sound is so delayed that by the time it is ready to play, it is already told to stop. I even used "prepareToPlay()". It still has a horrible delay.
1 AnswerProgramming & Design4 years agoHow can I play a sound in Swift 3 without any lag?
I have an app that requires you to press a button repeatedly very quickly. I want a sound to play every time the button is tapped. Unfortunately, AVAudioPlayer is too slow. By the time it starts playing, the button has already been released, resulting in no sound at all. Any ideas?
2 AnswersProgramming & Design4 years agoIn Swift, how would I get the time, in milliseconds, since last hour (3:00, 8:00, etc)?
For example:
If it's 3:30, the output would be 1800000.
Please phrase your answer in the form of a function.

I want my teammates to be able to identify me at a decent distance without compromising stealth too badly.
Maybe some kind of different shaped mask, small antenna, or shoulder decoration? Any ideas?

I know the phone sends a signal to the earbuds, but do the earbuds talk back? If so, how much? Just as much?
1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans4 years agoCan you use the Apple Watch series 2 in salt water pools?
It says it is waterproof up to 50 meters, and I'm pretty sure it has an app that's meant to be used in a lap pool, so It sounds like it's not only waterproof, but meant to be used in the pool.
I can't find any information about salt water pools though. I'm worried it would electrocute it or something. And even if it's ok at first, I'm worried it would erode the water proofing and eventually let water in.
Also, is it ok to wear in the hot tub?
3 AnswersSwimming & Diving4 years agoIf a 3D printer can print with PLA, it can also print with ABS, or any other similar temperature filament, right?
I found a 3d printer I like. It only mentions PLA printing. It would work with ABS though, right?
Here's the link to the 3D printer:

10 AnswersInsurance & Registration4 years agoI am building a flashlight and I need help finding the correct parts?
I am building a flashlight with somewhat odd specifications.
I need it to be at least 900 lumens,
It must run off of a rechargeable battery,
It needs to be about the size of a chap-stick tube,
and it needs to go at least 10 minutes on a single charge.
So I need some recommendations and links to suitable LEDs, batteries, etc.
1 AnswerEngineering5 years agoQuestion on abortion as it relates to morality and death?
No one can prove that abortion is or is not killing a person. Both ways of thinking have their reasoning.
But if there's no actual proof one way or the other, isn't there a very good chance that it is, in fact, killing?
And if there's a very good chance of that, why is it still a common practice?
If you are out hunting with a friend, and hear a sound behind a bush, do you shoot? It could be a person. You don't know. You can't know. So why would anyone shoot?
The reasoning against abortion is this:
What makes someone a person?
It can't be their ability to do something, because there are people with mental and physical disabilities and they are still considered people.
It can't be about what body parts they have, because if someone looses a leg or any other body part, they are still considered a person.
It can't be size, age, maturity, or development, because those things are gradual. There is no one objective time that someone is large or mature or developed.
Such things as development also continue past birth.
It can't be the birth itself because that is simply a place, and has no actual objective bearing on what the baby/fetus is.

2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality5 years agoIs it possible to set a track-pad to work like a graphics tablet; with absolute coordinates?
I have a wireless keyboard that has a track-pad on it. I would like to make it so that when you put your finger in the middle of the track-pad, the mouse goes to the middle of the screen, instead of just giving the relative value and staying put.
It seems like this would be a matter of finding a driver that would do this, rather that software or system setting.
Do you think I could use a Wacom tablet driver for it? or are different drivers generally not compatible.
This is my wireless keyboard:

1 AnswerSculpture5 years agoTo anyone that believes the bible but doesn't believe in the Trinity, Don't these verses prove the trinity? Why or why not?
John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14,
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 5:18,
For this cause therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
John 10:30
I and the Father are one.
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality5 years agoHow would being kind to people at your own expense possibly propagate as an evolutionary trait?
I think this is a religion and spirituality question because it very closely concerns my (and other people's) religious beliefs.
I just don't see how this could be passed down, as the trait (while probably beneficial to the entire species) is harmful to the carrier of the trait.
