I'm feeling angry about God (Explained) ...Thoughts?
This will sort of be a rant. I'm a good person, very progressive in my views, polite, and accepting. Yet, a friend basically told me I server to rot in hell just because I don't believe in God. It made me upset because he really believes that and the fact that Christians hold God to lower standards than people. I mean: if someone heinously tortured someone for no apparent reason you would be upset most likely. Why does God get to do this exact thing to good people? He first forces is into existence and then uses abuser tactics on us. He gives us "choices" but if we choose the one he doesn't like he tortures us for eternity.

Like a pressure cooker, but negative instead. How does that affect temperature and cooking of food?
5 AnswersPhysics6 years agoHey for real I just saw a billboard that said "I was raped" with a pic of a man?
The man is supposed to be depicted as the one who was raped btw.
I just wanted to share and celebrate that tiny win.
Hah wtf YA tried to put this is mythology
6 AnswersGender Studies6 years agoWhy do people cry about the word feminism but then get angry with people who think that male shouldn't be the default?
Like in language and society male is default. Also getting angry about extra gender pronouns for queer and trans
people
5 AnswersGender Studies6 years agoWhy is it not ok to tell your sibling's SO that he/she is cheating on them, but?
It's ok to tell your sibling that they are being cheated on by their SO?
I just googled both scenarios. All the forums where it says "my sister is cheating on her bf should I tell him?" Or similar, almost all of the answers are 'mind your own business', while in the opposite scenario it is 'you HAVE to tell him!'
Just wondering why that might be
2 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoCome on people, the survey for men is the same one that 1 in 5 stat comes from?

Apparently no one reads them but still decide to comment on them.
3 AnswersGender Studies6 years agoIf teaching boys not to rape and acknowledging that all able bodied men are *potential* rapists is "demonizing" men..?
Wouldn't 'dressing to prevent rape' also be "demonizing" men?
I wear my rape whistle and pepper spray that says "come on, boys" where it can be seen. It's like those "smile, your on camera" signs and I always carry a concealed handgun when I am with my guy friends and co-workers.
Just preventing rape, man.

Does it make sense for it not to be covered?
14 AnswersGender Studies6 years agoSexism in STEM?
All you have to do is google that exact phrase. You can find studies about women being paid less than equally or less qualified men, surveys about sexual harassment in STEM, millions of entries and articles of personal experiences with sexism (and you can even search of the non-anon authors to find out that they're actually in STEM!), entire websites dedicated to women's experience in STEM, and guess what? THERE'S EVEN A ******* STUDY ABOUT HOW MEN THINK SEXISM IN STEM DOESN'T EXIST.
You guys say "there's no sexism in STEM" and when almost every woman in STEM stands up at the same time and says "well, actually..." You shove your fingers in your ears and go "Lalalalala! You're wrong women you're lying and/or shouldn't be offended" because you don't give a **** about women. Then you have the audacity to demand "proof" and discount and disrespect us when we don't want to hold your hand so we can point out to you what you refuse to see FOR THE TEN BILLIONTH TIME
You don't give a **** about women. You just want to be right. So seriously, **** you.
11 AnswersGender Studies6 years agoThose who know that sexism (against women mainly) still exists, will treating men and women the same solve the problem?
I'm not sure yet but I tend to think not. It's like this:
Suzy and Bill start out with one apple each. At one point Bill gets another apple and uses this to keep Suzy down. Bill's apple pile stocks up high while Suzy only gains the occasional apple. Suzy gets tired of this BS and takes more apples for herself which tends to piss off Bill. Now Bill still has more apples than Suzy, but they're pretty close. Bill decides that from now on, the fair thing to do is give them each an apple. Suzy continues to get more apples but she still has less than bill.
If that makes sense... It's like they say when someone talks about being "color blind" in race and it's disrespectful and unhelpful. I see it as men an women have different gendered problems and should deal with them as such rather than a shoddy "one size fits all history doesn't matter" approach. What do you think?
7 AnswersGender Studies6 years agoWhy do people think that free speech means?
That you get to stay in a class and force people to listen to you say offensive things because you will shut down all their attempts at conversing with aggressive speech and won't allow the class to continue?
8 AnswersGender Studies6 years agoThat guy kicked out of class for "challenging rape statistics" turned out to be a douche?
He started by denying the 1 in 5 sexual assault statistic and began going on and on about how false rape accusations are 'rampant' and was being disruptive and shutting down the conversations of his classmates.
Then he became increasingly aggressive and started running around shouting n*gger and more offensive rape stuff.
When he was interviewed he told a journalist that he would not cooperate unless the journalist agreed to write n*gger before everything he said (of course he didnt agree)

It can be about the terrible coniving bitches that are women (especially feminists) and their various plots to undermine men in all ways.
They must remember to include their two step (somewhat dry) chicken recipe to fend of the evil succubus feminazi harpies
2 AnswersGender Studies6 years agoWhy are the anti-feminist men in GS hypocrites?
They cry when female users say soemthing "sexist" and then they up ore and agree with obvious sexist remarks towards women.
8 AnswersGender Studies6 years agoHow would you feel?
I had to go back to my parents house for the weekend and one afternoon my dad was watching Fox News. There were 2 guys and one woman talking about something. The woman had like a cup breasts but was wearing a push up bra to fill out her low cut shirt. They were in the middle of a discussion and I was listening and my dad suddenly said "could she have worn a lower cut shirt?", my sister looked at him like wtf and I said "I don't think anyone noticed that but you..." And my dad replied "believe me any man would have noticed unless he was gay" and my sister "alright then... Creeper" and I started to feel really uncomfortable because I have large breasts and I was wearing a shirt low enough to see some of my cleavage as I often do. I started to feel sick and had to leave the room because he kept going on about it ignoring their whole conversation. Luckily my mom wasnt in the room.

3 AnswersGender Studies6 years agoWhy do people hate bold makeup?
I wore colorful eyeshadow eyeliner and mascara THAT'S IT and people told me I look like a whore. It didn't look bad or trashy at all just like if you did natural makeup but with more bold colors. How is this worse than wearing a full face of "natural" makeup?
