A company packs paper clips in boxes labeled “100 pieces.” We have counted the clips in some of those boxes and found that the number in a box varies form as low as 93 to over 100. Suppose that the number of clips in boxes produced by this company has a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of 8. A carton is made up of 64 boxes of clips. Suppose a carton of 64 boxes can be considered as a random sample of 64 boxes. Let X-bar be the mean number of clips per box for a carton of 64 boxes.
Find the approximate probability that a carton of 64 boxes contain fewer than 6300 clips in all, more than 100 shy of 6400.
I know I'm supposed to use the Standard units z=(x-mu)/standard deviation
I guess I just don't understand the way my teacher worded the question.

I found that x-6 is a factor and x^2+x+1 is a factor. But either I'm having a major brian lapse or x^2+x+1 can't be factored out.

the minus 4 is not a part of the square root. There are three parts, the 3x, the 11√x, and the 4. I keep trying to solve this but I can't seem to figure it out.

This is the description of the setting that was giving to me by the company. "The stone is held in place by the titanium, there is no glue, epoxy etc. Just the right amount of pressure applied to the titanium" usually works.

I have my scuba certification and so does my bf, but we have been discussing marriage and both of us have thought that an underwater wedding would be cool. We would like some of our friends to be down there with us(most having certs) but some do not and we were wondering if we could bend the certification rules by using a hookah system. while we didn't want them to put them in danger we wanted them to witness the event instead of watching it on a video.
