I work as a cashier and get sharp lower back pains towards the end of my shift. These pains are right in the center of my lower back and hurt when I walk or even just standing. The pains feel like someone is stabbing me in the back and the only relief I get is if I sit (it hurts pretty badly when I first sit for a few minutes until the pain goes away) Today, I thought I was going to have to sit down because the pain was so bad, every step I took felt like another stab. (I work self scans a lot and have to walk to help customers) Any suggestions on what this type of pain might be? I know I need a chiropractor or doctor, but I want to see if anyone had had similar issues or could tell me something before I go in.

My dad's gf's grandson is 9 months and I love the little guy, but idk what to get him for Christmas?

He can't walk yet he can only only stand and walk if he is holding onto something. He loves bright things since he is always trying to get my netbook. He also loves play cell phones that make noise. He also loves music...any ideas that aren't to expensive?

I've recently started re-using Clearasil Night Wash and it started burning my face when I used it. It wasn't bad so I kept it on, but do you think I should stop using it?

I read the label and it said only to stop if irritation occurs.

I'm usually on the computer even at school and I'm a fast typer. I started texting awhile back and use my ipod touch all the time. The pain is right below my thumb and it hurts when I apply pressure. It only comes every once in awhile..Do I have Carpal Tunnel? If yes or even know is there a way to relieve the pain??

Please don't say"stop applying pressure" because I have to for daily stuff.

Well, I have a friend-date to the dance, but I don't know how to tell my friends because one of them was going to ask him, but chickened out and got another bf and my one friend thinks he is really sexy and I know will get jealous because she has before when I got on the yearbook staff and she didn't. Point is I can't tell my friends..they all like him and even if we're going as friends. One of my friends is crazy and will probably spread rumors(Never said I wanted her as a friend) and the other is my best friend and don't want to hurt her feelings. Ive never had a date to a dance before and I really want to tell people. I kind of want to show up my friends because they're always showing me up. It's confusing, but I need advice...help?

me and my cousin have grown up together since we were born but recently everyone pays a lot more attention to them then me. They are sisters. and they are half Mexican which means their skin is darker then mine. we are only a few months apart my eldest cousin is 1 year older then me and my youngest cousin is only 3 months younger then me and every one pays attention to me it's always"oh those girls are so beautiful" or "Janice has beautiful girls" and I'm right next to them it's just not fair I always get so upset because of this sometimes I would like to scream "HEY! Im right here" but no one would ever listen my mom tells me it's because they always look for attention by flaunting themselves around. which is true

and one day when I was at their house they were playing soccer and I was doing cartwheels and stuff and a car honked at them and later they were like "the car honked at us but not you" and started laughing I was so mad I almost said "Yea it's such an honor to be a slut like you guys" but I didn't because their mom might here me. which theyre not sluts but sometimes they act like it and it makes me mad

I have gotten to the point where when I get a Bf I ain't bring him any where near them because of the fear of him liking them better.

Im just so angry all the time and they are coming for Christmas and Goodness knows whats going to happen then.....

any thoughts on how to handle the situation

anyway If I walk downstairs and into the kitchen V usually leaves the living room and comes in their every time.and today I couldn't go back upstairs because someone was replacing the stairs so I laid on the couch and V came in and sat beside me like right up against the pillow I was laying on (I wasn't all the way up on the couch I was like laying on the middle cushion so their was a space for V to sit) and when my brothers other friend walked in I got up for him to sit down and he was going to sit down beside me but V scooted the one beside me and told him to sit where V was. and on through the day V kept like talking to me and stuff and then when we were watching south park(my brothers and his friends) I laid my head down on the end part of the couch and V laid his on the end of the other couch so both our heads were touching and he kept bugging me by like closing my eyes with his fingers and stuff like that and he kept like following me around today

okay well i just started liking him this year even tho Ive always thought he was cute. sometimes i catch him staring at me and when the substitute teacher asked me to read one of his friends whispers "Joe" (his name) (i know this might not mean nothing im just adding it) and sometimes i see him and his friends like staring at me too and for some reason all the boys in my grade have stopped making fun of me like they use too. Also hes real shy like me so we both kind of keep our heads down.
