Do you open you presents on Christmas eve or Christmas morning?

Every year on Christmas Day we have to drive about two hours to go see our extended family. Because of that, we open most of our gifts (those under the tree) on Christmas Eve night. Then we get up pretty early on Christmas morning and open the gifts in our stockings. After that, we get in the car and go celebrate Christmas with the rest of our family. It can get a little hectic sometimes, but I have actually always enjoyed this tradition.

We switch it around every few years. For the past couple years, my family and I have been opening gifts on Christmas morning but this year, we're planning to open them on Christmas Eve at night. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! :)

My family's tradition is to open one present on Christmas eve and the rest on Christmas morning.

We always open them on Christmas Day. When we were younger we might open one the night before but lately there just aren't enough to open both Christmas Eve AND Christmas day! =)

Christmas eve. We usually wait until midnight. Christmas j=day is just a stay at home with family day but we always go out for breakfast tho.

All of them Christmas Eve so we can sleep in on Christmas Day, and we take the day to relax. Also so my boyfriend can be with his family on Christmas Day.

It depends. Usually we do it on Christmas day, but we might open 1 or 2 on christmas eve. It sorta sucks to open everything on christmas eve though, cause then when you wake up, you have nothing to look forward to.

When I was little, me, my brother, and my sister used to be allowed to open one small present on Christmas Eve, usually it was socks. Now, we don't really want to, so we just wait until Christmas morning to open everything.

Sometimes i get to open 1 on Christmas eve, but it is usually new pajamas, lol. THen i get to open the rest on Christmas morning, and i get to go through my stocking. Then we go to my mom's side grandmas house to see those cousins for the afternoon, then i go to my dads side of the family (my grandma) and we see those cousins, lol
