Why can't they go with other colors?

I'm not an expert on commercial tactics but I personally think that this could be a marvelous idea not just to get more people to buy your cars but to satisfy them with what they really want. Right now at this moment no car brand does such a thing other than some which do something a little bit similar like Rolls Royce and Bentley. They speak to their costumers personally or by phone to get every detail as the buyer wants to. But Im talking about is companies like Toyota, Honda, Nissan Ford, and other common brands to let their byers decide how a new model will look like by doing a pool on Facebook for example. They could show pictures of various prototypes/concepts and the picture that gets the most likes wins which also means that the car presented in the said picture will be the next model of the year. What do you guys think? Could something like this work? Why/why not?

Im pretty sure that if they make a larger SUV their income will improve. Besides, a lot of people like big SUVs too. Please tell me why this will/will not be a good idea. And PLEASE don't even dare to say the X5 or X6 are big SUVs. That's just plain stupid.
