We will be staying in Konstanz for 3 days and weren't sure where the ferry would actually go, but wanted to go to the Pfanderbahn in Bregenz. We'll be renting a car but don't necessarily have to use it, whatever is easiest. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I have a business trip to Virginia in June and wanted to take my family to Virginia Beach for 2 or 3 days. I've been looking on expedia for beachfront hotels that have a separate sleeping area for our kids, but am not having much success. We're looking for someplace relatively quiet and not terribly expensive...anyone have any ideas? I'd appreciate any advice, my time off is really limited so want to make the most of it :). Thanks!

My husband is almost done with boot camp, but wrote asking if it's possible to get out of the Army completely with an regular discharge, and if so, how? He's uncertain at this point, but was obviously lied to by his recruiter, who told him that 88 Mike was one of the easiest MOS's, but now he's learning that they have a higher casualty rate than infantry...so we're weighing our options. My husband has a 4 year degree and is currently almost done with boot camp, but his recruiter had told him he had to wait until he got to his "regular duty station" after AIT training to apply. Is this true, or is there some way to apply earlier so he start training sooner? Thanks so much for any help/advice, the recruiter has not been much help...

My fiance needs an official copy of his birth certificate and lives in Lynchburg...can we get it from the courthouse in Lynchburg where he was born or would we have to drive to Richmond? Also, any information on timeframe and fees would help if known...thanks very much :)

It was my fault, I put a couch pillow in there along with a few towels to balance it out, and when the load was finished, there was water all over the floor under the washer and a little under the dryer as well...everything is dry and unplugged now, but what should I do now?

I'm asking because I'm getting married in a month and I'm pretty low on funds, and I've got my dress, but the alteration shop is charging $150 to hem my dress(its about 6 inches too long), and I was told by a friend that hem tape might be an option. I've never used it, so I have no idea what to expect...thoughts? Thanks :-)

My fiance is coming to the US on a K1 visa, entering though JFK. Is 2 1/2 hours long enough for him to get processed and catch his next flight?

I am so confused!! My fiance's K1 visa was approved, but he has not entered the US yet. We were looking on the SSA website and it says to wait at least 2 weeks after his arrival to apply for his SS card, but I also saw something that mentioned he can't apply for it if he does not have work authorization...He will be applying for his adjustment of status and work permit after we get married, but does that mean he can't get a SS card before he gets work authorization?

My fiance has not entered the US yet. We are thinking about getting married in my hometown, 3 hours away from my current residence. Does it matter if we get married in another county?

My fiance was approved for a K1 visa, and I heard he could get a work permit when he first arrived in the US if his point of entry to the US was at JFK airport in NY, but I'm having trouble verifying this. Is there any way I can find out for sure? Are there any other airports that do this? Thanks :-)
