  • What would Barack Obama have to do in order for his critics to NOT be considered "racist?"?

President Obama has proposed much legislation since he's been in office. Some has been passed, some not. His critics usually give details as to what they don't like about his ideas, i.e..... Obamacare does not address the high cost of medical care, the stimulus was just "make work" jobs, etc. Instead of defending his stances, the president's supporters just yell "racist" and end it at that. Some of the president's critics probably are racist, but certainly not all of them. That begs the question. What would the president have to do in order for "racist" to NOT be used as a defense? Let's suppose (and I know this is never gonna happen, I'm just using an extreme example to make a point) Let's suppose the president arranged for the kidnap and murder of a woman he'd had an affair with and knocked up. If I said,..."this guy's a monster" would I be considered a "racist?" I just want to know how low the bar is.

  • Pro-life christians....since God is already pro-life, what exactly are you praying FOR?!?

I've heard the phrase "Prayer to end abortion" followed by a petition or text concerning said issue. What I want to know is, since you already believe God is pro-life, why do you need any further prayer to him for that intention. Prayer itself implies that you and God aren't exactly on the same page. After all, when was the last time you had to beg someone to do what was already their own will? Some christians will tell me "God won't compromise our free will" Fine, but even if you expect him to help you in ways that won't interfere with free will, it still doesn't tell me why God doesn't just DO those things. No matter how big or small they are. It could be giving you the wisdom to talk women out of having abortions, it could be helping pro-life politicians get elected....whatever. The question still stands, shouldn't he just give you the help you need, without having to supplicate him first? If I want my son to sweep the kitchen floor, I won't make him beg for the dustpan and broom,...I'm givin' em to him. And if you say God may already be doing those things, can't he have the courtesy to let you know that? Again, without compromising your free will.

  • Who is this "Democrat daughter" that libs keep referring to?

I keep hear on Y/A "if a Democrat had a pregnant daughter, Republicans would be giving that candidate a hard time"...We would? When did we do that? There was a Democrat running for office, and his/her daughter decided to keep her baby and marry the father, and WE gave her a hard time? That doesn't sound like us. But it COULD have happened, I just can't remember when. What was the candidate's name?

  • Why does DNA evidence automatically exonerate someone, but not convict them,.. for public opinion anyway?

When DNA evidence showed OJ to be guilty, the reaction of some people was,...."we still have to have a trial.....the evidence could have been tampered with,....it's a frame up,... yadda yadda yadda." Fair enough. Yet when DNA evidence says Jon Benet's parents are innocent.......that's it. They're innocent. Why? If dishonest people could tamper with evidence enough to frame an innocent man, couldn't they also tamper enough to exonerate a guilty one? They're motive might be a mystery, but then again so would the LAPD's for that matter.

  • Don't these two articles contradict each other? Any intelligent women out there? If so, I'm sure you'd agree.

This is why some men feel like we're always being messed with when given dating "advice." The first gal tells us to pursue her. The second gal says that's the kiss of death. DON'T PURSUE HER!!

  • Christians, why does your God like to deceive astronomers and geologists?

Many creationist christians like to say the universe, and earth in particular, are only 6000 years old. When it's pointed out to them that light from stars shows that they are more than 2 million years old, (cause they're 2 million light years away) they say God put the photons in motion, and very near our planet, at the same time he created that star. When carbon dating says that rocks are more than 10 million years old, the same basic answer is given. God makes them APPEAR to be older than 6000 years, in order to deceive us. 'Scuse me? I can understand his wanting to fool people taking part in drunken debauchery....but astronomers and geologists? What have THEY done to deserve God's ire? They're just curious scientists.

  • How many people will only call Tiger Woods the best ever when....?

he starts doing better in the Ryder Cup? He rolls over and plays dead for the europeons every two years. Now in fairness to him, many Americans fold in those matches. Phil Mickelson, Davis Love, Jim Furyck etc, are all dissappointing. But Tiger is supposed to be the best in the world and he can't even break even. Once the euros beat HIM, they're confidence goes thru the roof, and their play against everyone else is that much better. It's no coincidence that American performance at the Ryder cup coincides with Tiger's rise to the top of the golf world. It's for your country and not personal glory. It pays no money. I'm thinking Tiger only cares when he plays for personal glory and money....much the same as other Americans.

  • Anyone like me rooting for the Pats because they hate the classless '72 Dolphins?

No one else behaves like them. When Mark McGwire was chasing the late Roger Maris' home run record, Maris' family was in the stands cheering FOR him to break it. When Michael Strahan broke the all time sack record, Mark Gastineau the current holder was in the stands cheering him on. That's called class, something that waved bye bye to the Dolphins years ago. They always cheer the failure of the last unbeaten team.Only Don Shula, Mercury (sniff) Morris and company are so bitter they don't want someone else to share, far less break, their record. If they only did this to Bellicheat, I could understand, but then even did it to others like Tony Dungy. I usually root for the NFC team, but not this year, although I have nothing against the Giants.

  • Why does Yahoo hate men so much?

You can't go more than a week without one of their bigoted articles....5 ways men screw up...5 signs he's cheating...Today they have one about how women get "jobbed" in online dating. I'm not saying that doesn't happen, but a little balance would be nice. We men have dating nightmares too.
