I was in Belgium and having dinner with a family. They had this skillet/broiler that they put on the table, and everyone would put cheese or eggs in these metal trays and place them underneath to be broiled, then the meat and veggies were sauteed on top. The device was rectangular in shape, had two "open layers" (bottom was the broiler, top was the skillet) and there were metal (maybe cast iron) trays that you could set on it. Is it possible to send a representative in your place? The closest Consulate to me is in San Fransisco and would be hard to do 2 round trips to pick up my visa... Is eating fish enough to suffice for the switch over in Ireland? Or should I ween myself on to it by adding gradual amounts of meat into my diet? If so, how much of a time allowance should I give myself?
