At the end of days of our lives today it had a caption that read in memory of B.B. Bateman I didn't catch the date of birth but the date of death was 1/3/08. Who was this person?
25 AnswersSoap Operas1 decade agoAsk a silly question?
Ok I'll try to tread carefully on this.
A person asked a really silly question about the movie Shrek. Then when she started to get remarks to her silly question she got real irrate and even sent an e-mail to me and others about us being (sorry language I can't use)and for us to keep our _ diddy _ mouths closed. Her next words were to call some of us the b word, Now why would a 20 year old woman get into a tizzy over a silly question? by the way the question was about the love life between the dragon and the donkey.

One day _____ died, and on that clear, cold morning, in the warmth of
their bedroom, the _____was struck with the pain of learning that
sometimes there isn't anymore.
No more hugs, no more special moments to
celebrate together,
no more phone calls just to chat, no more "just one minute."
Sometimes, what we care about the most gets all used up and goes away,
never to return before we can say good-bye, say "I love you."
So while we have it, it's best we love it, care for it, fix it when
it's
broken and heal it when it's sick. This is true for marriage and old
cars..and children with bad report cards, and dogs with bad hips, and
aging parents and grandparents. We keep them because they are worth it,
because we are worth it.
Some things we keep -- like a best friend who moved away or a classmate
we grew up with. There are just some things that make us happy, no matter what. So what will you do tonight in case tomorrow never comes?
4 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships1 decade agoWhat are the rules of handicap parking?
I take my mother to a restraunt to eat. Mom is handicap and had the correct parking sticker for handicap parking. Upon arrival we pull into a designated spot but becasue 2 motorcycles are parked in the area clearly marked as access for handicap mom can't get out. I talked to someone (the bikers) and was told it was not marked van accessable and the sign says handicap parking but nothing about alowing that person the right to get out of their vehicle. Am I missing the loophole here or are people just that uncaring about the handicap. We can park but who cares how we get out and get from the vehicle to our destination?
12 AnswersSafety1 decade agoWhy is it people seem to think beer and baseball go hand in hand?
I work at a major league baseball stadium. Yesterday I saw a father bring his yound son to the game and the little guy was so excited. By the end of the 6th inning the father was so drunk he no longer cared that his little boy was even there. The little guy wanted something to drink and was told it was to expensive but yet he had enough money to buy one more beer. I always thought baseball was a family sport.
17 AnswersBaseball1 decade agoIf you don't believe how do we say goodbye?
I know some of you don't share the beliefes of others so I am intrested to know, when you die how do we say goodbye to you properly. We can't pray for you and your soul because you won't have one. We can't wish you well as you start your journey to heaven because you have made it clear there is no place like that. Are you just a body that will just be put into the earth with no kind of blessing. I really would like to know what happens and how to say goodbye because so many of my freinds are none believers. They just say it happens and it is over but there has to be more.
24 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDoes anybody believe in God anymore?
It seems I opened a can of worms by asking opinions about the words in God we trust. I will say 90% of the answers were very negative. No one seems to believe any longer. I guess it is sad to hear that the very person I stand next to anywhere in public has no God in their life. I guess that most of you no longer believe in Heaven or Hell or life after death. I won't judge any of you it's not my place in life to do so I was just wondering if any one out there believes. I have a heavy heart on this and it makes me want to cry knowing the faith is gone or disappearing from our society.
29 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDoes anybody have an opinion about the new $1 coin missing the words In God we trust?
I feel they should leave old George off and put God on. He is more important then any president we will ever have. Once again we are letting foreign people tell us what can and can not be displayed. If you come to my country you should honor our ways just as I will honor your ways in your country. It won't do any good to boycott the using of the coin because money is money and money is the root of all evil. I just feel that in God we trust has always been a part of our currency and should continue to be so.
