My mother passed away two months ago and my sister has not even bothered to inform me - yes we live in separate countries and I quarrelled with my sister three years ago after my dad passed away, when my sister was claiming that my dad wasn't her real father.

My cat has been through a lot lately, we have been made homeless and we have had to sleep rough, but above all he has always been with us and we have tried to make him safe and comfortable. But now he just prefers to find a spot under a piece of furniture and stay there for hours.

Is this a sign of depression ?

I have looked around Amazon and Ebay as well as other sites but can't seem to find them - the hardbacks are far too expensive (from £115) which I would never pay such a ridiculous amount of money on some paper. Can anyone suggest a site?

I only noticed recently that my cat farts when he's asleep - we've had him now for just over 5 yrs, and he is a senior citizen....

I know that a wet nose is a good sign for dogs but not sure if cats have the same ?

I am fed up of complaining and getting talked down by the employees at my local job centre - my partner and I are getting wrong info and when we query they are very unhelpful and talk down to you. Also we have been advised by the CAB on certain entitlements and when we've queried this with the local jc office we've been told that these people are not benefit experts - yet when we've asked at the jc office they don't know - I'm fed up with the bad service we're all getting as I'm sure we're not the only ones.

Could someone describe to me why would somebody have to wear varifocal lenses? I have tried looking up the meaning in the wikipedia, but not much info - how does it differ from bifocal for example? No sarky comments please - just a simple informative answer would do, thank you.
