I'm doing a test, need participants?
I'm doing a test, and I need many people to participate to improve the accuracy of it. I figured this would be the easiest way, to start with. I need you to say your four-letter Meyer-Brigg test type (if you haven't taken the test before, here is a link: http://www.personalitypathways.com/type_inventory.... ) , and then the day and month you were born. Thank you!
1 AnswerOther - Arts & Humanities7 years agoIs this an example of irony?
My sister says it's ironic that Paul McCartney's new song is named "New." I keep saying that's not what irony is. Who is right?
1 AnswerWords & Wordplay8 years agoI want to make a BJD, but I want to carve it?
I get the basic process of how I would carve the parts, but out of what? Wood is too difficult, wax and plaster are too fragile, foam is really just for the hollow part, and rubber would probably cause too much friction for the parts to move right and wouldn't hold its shape. Is there anything else I could use?
2 AnswersSculpture8 years agoDoes it take a minuscule moment for electricity to stop traveling through headphone wires after unplugging?
If you were to slow it waaaay down, would there be any time difference between when you unplug your headphones from your gadget to when the headphones quit making sound altogether? Do they still play whatever noise they were sent for a brief moment before going silent?
2 AnswersOther - Electronics8 years agoIs it possible for cats to be schizophrenic?
I saw this video of a kitten pawing at the air like it actually saw something right near its face. It was adorable, but I'm wondering if cats can even be schizophrenic at all.
2 AnswersCats8 years agoLooking for new music artists?
I like so many types of music, I should just say what I don't like: Screemo, metal, rap, pop, classical (because it only sounds good in person), and the "popular music" of today.
Anything else I'll listen to. Thanks!
3 AnswersOther - Music8 years agoWhat is the best ball-jointed doll to use for art?
I saw some neat ones online, but they were way too expensive. Does anyone know some ball-jointed dolls out there around $20? I just want the body, not any clothes. It should have a full range of motion (like the legs don't stop at a 90 degree angle) and a flexible waist, if possible.
Thanks!
2 AnswersOther - Visual Arts8 years agoWhat art tools do cartoonists use in black and white manga?
This is the type that gets published in graphic novels, and ends up having to be in black and white. I'm wondering what tools they use to get such crisp, clean line work and tiny details, such as individual strands of hair. I heard really good fountain pens are sometimes used, is there anything else? Surely that can't all be done in fountain pen.
2 AnswersDrawing & Illustration8 years agoI think logically, but am disorganized most of the time?
People who think logically are very organized, right? I know so many people who think logically and are very organized, but why aren't I? I *want* to be, and try to be, but over time things fall out of order again. Can anyone explain why this is?
1 AnswerPsychology8 years agoAnimated movie suggestions?
I am very picky on movies, and I feel like I have not found my favorite one yet. someone out there may already know it exists.
I'm looking for an animated one (manga animation is welcome), but that is not for kids... more serious, I suppose. Science fiction is a favorite of mine, and I try to avoid sexual stuff because it grosses me out. Any suggestions?
2 AnswersMovies8 years agoIs there any way to add an album cover photo to a song on my Ipod?
Some songs on my Ipod Nano only have that grey background with the light grey music note, instead of the album cover that the song belongs to. Is there a way to change it, so when the song shows up, I see the actual album cover and not the default grey one?
2 AnswersMusic & Music Players8 years agoDo plants prefer warm water, cool water, or does it matter?
I know plants probably don't like boiling hot water or freezing water, I was just wondering if it would help them grow by changing the temperature of the water that gets to their roots.
2 AnswersBotany8 years agoWould I get in trouble for this?
I have a school assignment to make a storyboard for a theoretical animation, and I wanted to make a music video. I was thinking that to make the storyboard more convincing as a music video, I would do a similar thing to what the Gorillaz did ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYDmaexVHic ) and sync the music to the storyboard. I don't plan to share it on YouTube, but even if I did, would someone get mad at me for not asking permission to use the song or something like that?
3 AnswersLaw & Ethics8 years agoGood animated series?
I have a ton of free time and I'm looking for a *complete* animation series (not one that's unfinished). I'm sort of picky, I really liked Death Note, Attack on Titans, and The Flower of Evil. I'm also fond of the series K, but the female characters make me want to gouge my eyes out (so nothing slutty, either). Any good series out there?
4 AnswersComics & Animation8 years agoIs this order of Death Note right?
I want to get the whole animated series and the live-action movies, let me know if I'm missing anything:
Death Note movie
Death Note: The Last Name movie
L: Change the World (DN 3)
Death Note whole animated series
2 AnswersComics & Animation8 years agoDoes anyone know any good "loving" songs?
Examples of what I mean by "loving" songs: Make Love by Daft Punk, Mr. Blue by The Fleetwoods, Smile by David Gilmour, In My Life by The Beatles. Does anyone know some good songs that could fall under this category?
1 AnswerOther - Music8 years agoHow many characters are in the Japanese language total?
I know there are more than one "language" in Japanese, but on average, how many symbols do native speakers usually learn?
4 AnswersLanguages8 years agoHow can you tell words apart in the Japanese language?
I'm trying to learn Japanese, but I noticed individual words don't have any spaces between them, at least not that I can see. They mostly look like spaced-apart letters most of the time.
3 AnswersLanguages8 years agoAre there any good animated series I could get into?
Preferably something on the dramatic/intense side. I've been reading webcomics for awhile and I'm thinking of getting into animated series as well.
5 AnswersComics & Animation8 years agoHow hot can sculpting wire get before it melts?
It doesn't say what kind of metal it's made of. I want to use it to make a doll that has a wire skeleton and oven-bake clay on the outside.
