  • Who are some superheroes that started out as villains or evil?

I wanna know some comic book heroes that started out as villains. Either as actual introduced as villains or introduced as heroes with a villain past that wasn't shown.

And preferably some more obscure names that aren't too well known. Also whatever they did to be something really bad, not just start as a petty thief or anything. I mean someone who got their start as a real bad person, then switched sides and possibly had conflict for doing so.

  • Songs from the late 70s to 80s about Media, TV, Radio, Video Games, Computers?

Does anyone know of any songs from the late 70s to 80s about Media or computers or TV, or Arcades/video games.

Songs like Radio Ga-Ga by Queen. With a more nostalgic feel and more happy that they exist. Something with a good feeling to it, nothing angry or negative.

Will anyone list any songs that they can think of that match that?

  • Any songs from the 80s inspired by arcades, video games, or TV?

Just wondering of any songs from the 80s that were inspired by video games, arcades, or TV. Preferably the kinds that teens and kids and youth from the 80s could've possibly related to.

  • How does getting a GED/HiSET/TASC work in NYC?

Is taking classes required to take any of these tests? Or Can I just call to make an appointment to take the test if I think i'm already read to take it? Some of them I can't find near me, and have to go to Jersey to take, aside for the TASC test. Are they all the same thing?

Does anyone with any experience with any of these tests have any answers or know anything I should know before taking the test?

  • Is Death in the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse the personification of death, or a horsemen who brings death?

Might be a confusing question, but I couldn't figure this out. But in the story of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, there is a horsemen named Death. I was trying to figure out if it was literally the personification of death bringing death, or simply a Horsemen that brought the plague of death onto the world.

Can anyone tell me more about this?

  • What is a good college to learn Nursing and receive a nursing license in NYC?

I m a high school graduate, i ll admit my grades aren t straight A s, more of a B and C student with some A s. I went to a community college for a while, But I need to know a good college that suits me. I looked into some schools and they were private schools that were very demanding.

What is a good college for someone like me that wants to get into Nursing. No Community College. A legit school that can teach me the field on a good level. One that isn t too prestige and demanding. It has to be located in NYC.

Any suggestions? I d prefer from people with experience, and not just pull up a list from google

  • What episode of Married with Children is this scene from?

It's just been in my head for a while now. But I remember a scene where Al was making a commercial and tried to be emotional and did a parody of the crying indian from those old commercials. And he had a fake plastic tear drop under his eye when he looked at the camera.

    What episode was that from?

  • How can I learn to drive? Conquer my phobia of driving?

It's not that i'm scared of driving, i'm just not good with the rules of the road. I'm always afraid of making some mistake somehow because there's just a lot to learn, both in and outside the car.

But how are driving schools? I wasn't sure if you had to go in there with some experience. And the one closest to me doesn't really have a course to drive in, rather they just take you on the actual road to test you. I'm not sure if i'm comfortable with being tested on a live road.

Do I have to go in there already knowing something about how to drive. I know absolutely nothing about cars.

  • How to read all of batman death of the family?

So I wanted to read Batman death of the family, but I have no idea how to get completely caught up. From what I can tell, it expands from batman to other characters in their own comics, like harley quinn and redhood and the outlaws, joker's daughter, Joker's face apparently travels from comic to comic and some of these characters may get involved in the final climax. How do I read this entire story and not miss anything. Am I supposed to read all of the new 52 comics that relate to batman? or is there some convenient volume set for this?

  • Why can't I sign into my YouTube account?

I just turned on my laptop, went to YouTube and I was signed out. So I tried to sign back in but it sent me to my Gmail account on YouTube. I tried to switch user to my old YouTube account, which has my favorites and subscriptions and everything. I've had that account for years. But when I tried to switch, it just signs me out of YouTube.

I'm still logged onto YouTube on my phone on the app, but then I went into the chrome app and tried to log in there too. Same thing, it logs me into my gmail youtube account, and when I try to switch out, it just signs me out.

Is there a problem with youtube at the moment? I'd hate if they just deleted my account or something, so hoping that didn't happen

  • How is Power Girl in Superman/Batman Public Enemies?

So this is just a thing that's bugging me. I thought that Power Girl was only in Earth 2, and Earth 1 was supergirl. Where does Superman/Batman Public Enemies take place? If it's Earth 2 then it should be Earth 2 superman. See it just bugs me. Did they just slap on Power girl to this story instead of Supergirl? Or was there a thing in the comics, I never read crisis on infinite earths, but I heard a whole mess of stuff happens that can be confusing

  • What are some cool things to say while looking out a window?

This is just a random question, but it just seems like things sound cooler when you say them while looking out a window. My friend was looking out a window and said "It's only a matter of time...before the wolves come". We just laughed.

But be creative, what are some cool things to say while looking out the window? Especially when it's raining or snowing

  • What's this recurring nightmare mean?

I've been having this recurring nightmare, not every night, every now and then. Where i'm in a museum and all the lights are off. So it's all this dim ambiance light on all the sculptures and exhibits. Makes it terrifying , especially since i'm alone. No matter how many times I try to leave I end up right next to another realistic statue of something, like a caveman or a squid or something that just scares the piss out of me. And I can never find the exit, only more exhibits and i'm forced to go through all of them.

Not the scariest nightmare I've had, but I sure have it a lot when I have a nightmare. What could it mean?

  • Anyone remember the name of this skit from the show "All That"?

There was a skit on the Nickelodeon show All That, where a cast member is sitting in a chair alone and a voice over talks about them, lying and over exaggerating, and annoying them. I thought it was really funny as a kid and its bugging me I can't remember.

  • Any mythical creature/demons that have strict rules?

Just for research, and for the sake of story, Are there any rules to some mythical creatures?

Here's what I mean, there's always demons and creatures and what they eat or hunt, but a lot have rules to follow.

Example, Vampires can't go out in sunlight, they can't walk into a room without being invited, they can't cross running water, there was even a legend that said if you drop rice in front of one they would have to stop and count them (weird) but still good to know.

Also genies, they're all mighty and can do anything, but can only use their powers if someone makes a wish, until eventually they become a djinn

Any other types of demons that have their own rules to follow? from any culture, don't be strict to just folklore popular in america.

  • Where did the sudden knock (jump scare) in literature come from?

I remember a long time ago I heard a story of a horror writer, who was writing a scary story, and in the middle of writing there was a sudden knock on the door that scared him so much, he put it in his story, and thus created the sudden knock in literature, aka jump scares.

I don't know if I told it right, or if it's even true. But can someone help me out? Is there an origin to that? or any other horror cliche's in general, in literature not movies.

    Thanks

  • Works cited pages for the History of the horror genre?

I'm writing a research paper on the history of the horror genre and I need at least 4 sources for my paper, it's gonna be 6 pages. Are there any credible sources I could learn from? Journalist sites or anything. Not wikipedia or anything like that, it has to be a credible source, something someone wrote from what they learned too.

Any help at all would be appreciated. I have to write where the horror genre came from, what made it popular, what started/inspired it, where it was to where it was going, etc. Anything at all. Please give links to credible sites if you can

    thanks
