  • What besides Hill's W/D can I feed my cat with clostridium?

In March of 2009, I adopted a cat from the Shelter. They had attempted for 9 months to get the cat's clostridium bacterium under conrol. There are pages of vet visits, and the only thing that seemed to work for him was W/D dry food. When fed anything else he has liquid feces of the smelliest kind. It also dehydrates him. With W/D, he has healthy looking feces, but has to go within minutes of eating. As a consequence, he constantly has to eat. It is costing me $3 per day to feed him over and above vet bills. I've tried just about every wet food as well as tuna in oil and tuna in water. He immediately has a liquid bowel movement, and is hungry right away. Can somebody help me with this?

    Thank you,
