My question: I'm not so sure how to do the ending inventory..can anyone here guide me?

When I'm using e.g Aging of Receivables Method, after calculating the total of allowance for uncollectable accounts, why do I have to subtract existing balance from previous year before journalizing?

For my presentation, I need to include a crossword puzzle. But I don't want to simply hand out the sheets and ask the whole class to do it, how can present the crossword puzzle in a creative way that will get the entire class involved?
