i have replaced bulb and fuse and my right brake light still wont activate.

what else could i look at to fix the issue? how much could this cost?

I have a vauxhaul corsa 99 1.6 sport. had it a few months with no issues until last week my reverse lights stopped working, i replaced bulb and fuse still nothing. what could be the issues? how could i fix it? how much might it cost to fix?

this evening iv noticed one of my brake lights stopped working? could the issue be related or could this just need new bulb , maybe new fuse?

later today im going to buy my first car ( a vauxhaul corsa ), its from a garage/dealership and the advert say road tax ran out feb 2012. how do i go about paying the road tax ? any idea how much it will cost? when would i need to pay for the road tax?

Please help with as much advice as possible for buying first car. I'm 24 male with a budget of £4000 to cover car and insurance . ( my partner pick up bill for MOT and tax. ) and couple young kids . I am completely useless with cars , the car only be used for short journeys with a long journey every other month . I need advice on which make and model be cheapest to run and maintain , any advice on decent insurers ( I'm aware they all be high as I'm new driver ) how should I buy car , private ad garage dealership , where to look online newspapers etc what to look out for when buying. I'm 23 and 3 weeks away from pratical test , only 2 things are letting me down , hill starts and reverse round corner. I used to be mint at all 3 manoeuvres but past couple lessons have been messing up reverse round bend royaly , either going to fast , going onto curb or to far away. As for hill starts I always get nervous and tend to roll back or over rev the engine and not actualy move or stall it.

Any tips or advice on any of this or any driving tips in general ? Iv already booked extra lesson to deal with these issues

i work in retail, im currently a department manger. i want to step down to either a supervisor or

an assistant. i have to give 4 weeks notice. if it helps my problems are:

* staff have left and i been told will not be replaced.

* staff i have are always on a checkout

* to compensate the loss im working 60hr weeks ( no brakes, not even lunch) and am contracted to 43hr

* As i have worked over the legal limit of 48hrs a week im now getting a disciplinary.

* i am getting the blame for the manager before me mistakes.

* my boss today accused me of being a liar.

that's main reasons i want to step down. i have had enough of being treated so badly

and my wage is only a couple hundred more than a supervisor, its not worth it.
