Same goes with movies, gen x had their Tarantino Films, and gen Y had their American Pie

I now see a band called "FUN" and they are (in my opinion) the closest to an icon for teenagers, but only close.

I see the movie "spiderman" and I think, they are just looking at a B-rated copy cat mini-star, there is promise for the cast of Chronicle and the movie they starred in. But other than that I'm not seeing many strong icons yet.

I am sick of those cars with black flashlights, the ones that are crown victorias, dodge chargers, etc and turn out NOT to be cops. Mostly they are the elderly. I slowed down for nothing. I have a honda accord, how can I make it look like an undercover car so people will stop passing me and start slowing it down.

Okay I'm not a father so I can't comment on the joy of seeing my daughter having fun, making friends, being healthy and exercising. I'm speaking from a fans point of view. It's rare if not limited footage on NBA and NFL games watching from home, even when you go to a game they are doing their thing and it's almost like so what. As a former basketball player I found inspiration to go farther from my coach and teammates, cheerleaders meant very little to me and our team. I also find in most games the crowd gets pumped up when the cheerleaders do their thing but it's similar to someone telling a joke where everybody laughs and the laughter runs its' course. The game is what really gets people excited.

I know it's a weird situation but I was unemployed for 2 years during the recession and the only one who pulled me from the rubble was a Temp Agency and in a way they saved my life. Since last September, I've been at the temp job gathering numerous compliments and countless extensions of the temp agency contract. They still won't hire me on full time, so I just accepted an offer that pays double but they need me to start on Monday. Do I tell the new job give me two weeks so I leave the temp agency on good terms or do I just leave the temp agency in the dust? It's kind of a bite the hand that feeds situation.
