  • Why does my gap insurance need to know if I'm cancelling my vehicle service contract?

I had a car loan of 14k. My car got totaled (by an uninsured drunk driver, awesome, right?) and was valued at 10k. I'm getting ready to submit the required documents for my gap insurance and one of the requirements is "A copy of any refund checks for the cancellation of..... a vehicle service contract.... that was financed on the Finance Agreement."

My common sense is waving a flag but I'm not quite sure why they need the information. I do plan on cancelling the service contract and getting the refund sometime soon, but I was told it will take a few weeks to get processed and the refund sent to me. I need to get the gap paperwork and payment to my bank ASAP so I don't have to make any more payments or deal with any late charges.

Can someone explain to me why exactly I'd need to give my gap insurance provider the service contract cancellation information? Will they deduct it from what they "owe" on the negative equity on my loan, and possibly leaving me responsible for difference? I apologize if I'm WAY off. I've asked a few different people, but no one seems to know and I'm not finding any information online.

Thank you for your kind explanations.

  • Serious Help: Why is my dog ALWAYS eating his poop?

Now hear me out. PLEASE. I've done a LOT of research on this already, AND I've called my vet.

    He's a little over a year old.

I just adopted him about a month ago.

The foster mom did mention that he eat his poop- but did not go into the severity of the problem.

I have two other well behaved and "balanced" dogs.

I clean up poop often so it's not there for him to eat. He eats Blue Buffalo food so it's not low quality food. He eats twice a day and is eating a proper amount. He's been checked for worms (as of a month ago before I adopted him) and I'm getting him checked for them again (just to be safe because of this horrible habit) on the 20th.

I use positive reinforcement when he poops and doesn't eat it- I give him lots of praise and a few good treats. I am VERY consistent with this!!!!!!!!!!

But as soon as I turn my back (like, LITERALLY) he poops in the house and eats it!!!!!! As if I haven't let him outside to relieve himself 2 times every hour!!! I go OUT OF MY WAY to make sure he's OUTSIDE way more often then I know he really needs to be. I know he's not doing this on purpose, but I've also seen him go to eat the poop of my other dogs AS THEY WERE pooping!

I've been feeding ALL the dogs pinapples and Nasty Habit (from petsmart), been cleaning up the poop outside, using positive reinforcement when he doesn't, AND I've been working on his obedience training to increase his self confidence. It's as if he specifically is going out of his way to find ways AROUND what I'm doing just so he's able to eat poop!

I take him to the vet on the 20th to get Forbid, but I can't stand this one more day! I feel like I want to give him back to the foster mom.... this must be a severe mental fixation... and if it's not... then I don't want to deal with it anymore. I feel like I don't even want to touch him anymore, I don't want to pet him (even though I still do) and I'm so fed up with him because nothing I'm doing seems to remotely be helping!

    *frustrated/disgusted beyond belief*

The best I've found is a lot of their rings are in a 8k range, but I'm seriously not finding anything. I don't want to walk into a jewelers and be totally dumb struck. haha

  • My aluminum exterior door is 29 and 5/8 inches?

I don't know anything about doors, except for what I've researched in the past 20 minutes. From what I'm gathering 30", 32" and 36" aluminum doors are the standard sizes, and most of the time 28" doors need to be custom ordered.

Heres the thing... I've measured my door probably 15 times, and it is EXACTLY 29 5/8 INCHES.

    Is this incredibly weird?

I'd like to replace it with a door that has a window in it (my side entrance way is so dark!), and I'm feeling discouraged... maybe I'll have to see if I can get my frame re-done to fit a 32" door... that seems to be normal.

    Thoughts? opinions? THANKS!!!

  • Which Caribbean cruise do you like best? East, West or South?

I've been on a western Caribbean cruise, and was terribly disappointed with Belize. I'd like to hear some opinions from people who have been on any, some or all of these cruise routes (regardless of cruise line)

    THANKS!

  • Would joining two semi-agressive, unspayed, senior, female dogs together in one home work out?

We would like to get a companion for our old lady (our roommates and other pets have all finally moved out), but the shelter we wanted to adopt from wont allow us to adopt because we have an unspayed dog in our home (I understand that- but we don't want to make our 120 lb, 11 year old dog to have to go through that surgery... but you can include your opinion on that as well, if you'd like. And no she hasn't not been fixed because shes purebred or bc we want to mate her, it just hasnt happened)

We know a couple who are having twin babies soon, and they'd like to find a home for their senior unspayed female as well.

I'm assuming this won't work out, but we are going to go to the park and go on a walk together to see how it goes tomorrow. We've talked to the owner, and we know that likelyhood of this working out is low (we're not idiots on how dogs are pack animals, territorial, etc etc.).

I'd just like some opinions from someone who's a professional in the field and/or has had some kind of experience with these kind of circumstances. Thanks.

  • What Christmas song/s can we do a Tango to?

My partner and I are looking to do a Tango in the Christmas show at our studio this year, and we have no clue what songs there are out there!! I've searched a bunch of different search engines, and cant find anything. Anyone have any ideas? We need something with a solid tango, or slightly argentine tango beat. 30-33 measures per minute.
