I got bar nipple piercings about 3-4 months ago

While I was sleeping, one of the ball-caps on the end of my piercing must have fallen off (Not sure how, because it's usually screwed on there pretty tight). Now the hole is closed, and I have next to no chance of finding that cap.

What now? Do I just take the bar out and go get it pierced again?

Was watching Orphan Black, in which a woman gets her scarf caught in a garbage disposal, and another woman was in full view. Instead of helping the other woman looks on and leaves the woman to choke to death.

Would this be illegal? Technically, there was no positive action to cause the death, but it still falls into that gray area.

This year, I will be graduating from high school. I'll be moving on to college in another state, and possibly the military. Thing is, my girlfriend isn't. She's younger than me, and therefore, she won't be graduating until later. (She's 2 years younger).

Now, I don't know what I should do. I hate long distance relationships, because, well, they never work out. BUT, I really care about my girlfriend. I could never bring myself to end it with her, but I just don't see how we can be a couple when we're so far away. I'm sure that I'm not going to be unfaithful or anything or the sort.

But I just don't know what to do. We've been together for a year now - it's not that long, I know - and I don't want to lose her.

What should I do?

The Pokemon Global Link has been down for well over 48 hours for me. . .and I have things I'd like to get back from it.

Did the do the final shut down of the site early or something?

My father brought home a Jabra 550 MS Duo/Mono headset for me that I could use. Upon plugging it in for the first time, the green "call" button and the red "mute" button flashed on until my computer auto installed the USB drivers.

After this, I tried using the headset, but found that the headset didn't let me hear anything, and also didn't work as a microphone either, I tried unplugging and replugging it over and over, but to no avail. I then installed the Jabra suite from the website to see if that would make a difference. I turned it on, and connected the program to Skype.

But this ALSO didn't do anything. Now though, my audio doesn't work even after I unplug my headset. Whenever I try to turn up/down the volume, I get a message saying "your audio device is not working properly".

Right now, I'm reinstalling the drivers, but nothing is changing. What should I do?

My girlfriend is 14, nearly 15, and I'm 17.

I recently got a bundle pack called "Action Movie Essentials 2" from Video CoPilot. Which basically has a large collection of .Mov quicktime files that are used in action movies. I can import them fine, as soon as I drag them over, they appear in the project.

The problem is, when I'm adding the Mov to the composition, After Effects (CS5.5) becomes unresponsive for hours at a time. I have no idea why this is happening. I have quicktime installed, and the CoDec's should be fine.

What's going on?

So, my girlfriend recently told me that she started drinking. It was only 2 weeks ago that this started, but she's underaged, and she's starting to really like it. (She's got some problems going on at home, and it "calms her")

I'm underaged too, and I've been to my share of parties and had drinks, etc, and I have plenty of friends who drink too (I haven't done anything of the sort in months though). . .but for some reason, I can't stand to hear that she's doing that. IDK, maybe it's because she's younger than I am.

She's made new friends to supply her, which makes me even more nervous. I know it's only been 2 weeks, and I may be overreacting, but this is just bothering me. . .a lot. What should I do? I don't want to act like her father, and say "don't drink, it's bad", but I don't want her doing it.

1. When you're in the National Guard, are you stationed somewhere (such as a base), or are you at home until you are activated

2. How does command work? Who is in charge?

3. Is it split into battalions, companies, and platoons, like in the active branch of the army?

4. If it is split into companies, what do the Company Commanders do, and where are they stationed?

5. What vehicles does the National Guard typically have access to (Humvees, helicopters, etc)

6. What would constitute as a "national emergency" worthy of the National Guard

7. Would there be any situation in which the Nat Guard would be called in over the SWAT team?

I'm looking for some famous crazy/insane women who were strangely sexy for a Psych project. They can be a celebrity or a fictional character.

Anyone, honestly.

I've been an atheist since the 6th grade, and quite honestly the only reason I believed anything before is because I was brought up on it. 6th grade was when I really started to question whether or not I BELIEVED anything, and wasn't just going along with what everyone told me. Both my parents have families that own a church, and so, naturally, I was brought up a Christian.

I told my parents I was an atheist back when I was 16. And since then, they've become even more religious. Making me go to every single class, seminar, and service to make me believe in their religion. All that that's done is make me more and more bitter towards religion because it's showing me just how closed-minded religious people can be when it comes to what others believe.

I've always respected religion, I've read every page of the bible (Which is more than what a lot of religious people actually read), I've studied Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and even paganism. I admire the philosophy expressed in religion in general, but I've seen them as nothing more than stories.

My parents feel that if, somehow, I learn more about religion, I'll magically be inclined to believe in it. Why can't they just accept that I'm an atheist and be done with it?

I'm using photoshop, and I'm reading from a tutorial, and it's rather annoying having to click on the photoshop window, then click on the internet browsing program to read from, then going back to the photoshop window.

It would be much simpler to have both open at once to easily transfer information, but I can't do this because whenever I click on one window, the other moves into the background, and I can no longer see it.

Is there any program or method that I could use to get around this?

I'm home alone. There's 10$ on the counter. I live across the street from a really good Chinese take out place, and Chipotle. I had Chipotle last saturday, and it's been a while since I've had Chinese.

I can't decide which to go get. Help.

Alright, so I need help writing a poem. . .though the catch is, it needs to be written in the style of Walt Whitman.

Now I have the theme for it, something easy to write about, a love interest.

Now my two problems are 1. What should be my guiding metaphor (Just taking suggestions because i believe I've found one on my own), and 2. How does Walt Whitman open up his poems?

Typically I'm rather good, however, I've never sang to a single judge before. It was just too personal for me. I have no problem with crowds. . .but this was painful.

I sang my song. It wasn't great. At all. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't horrible, just I was nowhere near as good as I normally am. People I didn't know were watching, and it was just. . .yeah. I was told it was "good", and I could've been better. For an idea.

So, now that I've choked and can never sing in my school again, how do I get my mind off this? I've been neurotic for the last 3 hours.

Seriously, I don't understand why everyone hates Lori from the Walking Dead. Sure, she cheated on her husband with his best friend, but she thought he was dead. She found somebody to confide in with Shane who also lost his family. I'm not saying it was the best choice, but it was forgivable, and certainly understandable.

Everything else, she just seemed like a normal character locked in the drama of a zombie apocalypse. Dealing with a mistake she made in the past.

Andrea, on the other hand, lost my respect in season 2, and regained ever so little in season 3.

Anyway. . .why DOES everyone hate Lori?
