2 AnswersRap and Hip-Hop7 years agoDid Jesus write/publish anything? If not, why?
Jesus preached his message orally. Other people wrote about Him and his message. Why didn't Jesus write/publish His own message? If He did, where is it or why didn't His writings became popular? John 5:31-32 says: "If I alone testify about Myself, My testimony is not true. 32"There is another who testifies of Me, and I know that the testimony which He gives about Me is true." Is that the reason why Jesus did not write/publish anything that is still popular/known nowadays?

After a successful SSH connection, I am using this command to download a file from the server to my computer:
ftp> get file1.php file1.php
local: file1.php remote: file1.php

150-Accepted data connection

Apparently the file was downloaded successfully, but I cannot find it on my current directory used to connect to FTP, nor anywhere in my computer. Thank you for your help.

2 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoFor someone moving to the US, is it better a British or an American Master's degree?
For a person who will move to and live in the United States, is it an advantage to have a Master's degree from a British university (if this person does not have a Bachelor's degree in the United States but in a poor Latin American country). Is it better to have the Master's degree in the United States, or would companies consider a plus the Master's degree abroad, from a British unviersity?

6 AnswersFIFA World Cup (TM)1 decade agoHow long are the Master's degree courses in England?
Somebody told me: "However, one year Masters courses are available for most subjects so you should be able to find a one year course in your chosen subject." Here in the United States you get your Master's degree in 2 years and PhD in 1 year. How about England?

Someone said: "One of the four team members quit or is sick for an extended period of time." But I think the correct form is QUITS, not QUIT, because the sentence is talking about third person... Thanks.
