  • Is there a possibility?

I've been kicked off this website more times than I can recall, and mostly because I've offended religeous types.

Before you boot me off again, I would like to know if it is in anyway possible for a religeous believer, or whatever you guys call yourselves, is it possible for you to give a straight answer to ANY question ever posed?

I was raised as a Christian and I gave up the faith because not one single priest could answer any question I had about the Bible. I've since stuck my nose (where it wasn't wanted) in about fifty other holy books, and I've talked to pastors, priests, gurus, shamens, rabbis, hiaundas, etc etc and not one of them has ever been able to give me a straight answer about anything.

I was just wondering if it was possible for a person who believes in any diety to give an answer that isn't:

    a) a quote from their own holy book

    or

    b) completely nonsensicle.

Your hatred is both anticipated and appreciated.

  • Do you think.........................?

That's the whole question. I find a lot fo religeous types don't, they just blindly accept whatever their bible (not THE bible, whatever the equivalent is in their own religeon) tells them to think.

So, do you think for yourself or do you blindly follow your faith (like your faith tells you to?)

  • What should I do?

I'm wide awake, really drunk and I think mhy wife is really annoyed with me. Also, I have to be up in a couple of hours to get to work. But, if I fall asleep, I'll sdtay asleep for the whole day, but if I stay awake, I'll go a little bit crazy.

Which is the lesser of two evils?

  • Would you be offended?

See, I'm in this band and I've written a song about feminism.

Not real feminism actually, but the type of nonsense feminism that some (and I repeat, SOME) women try to pass off as feminism. For example, demanding equal pay for job, equal responsibilities etc, all the good stuff, while at the same time, they also want men to give up their seat for them on the bus, they expect men to pick up the bill at a restaurant and pretend that they're not hurt when women punch them, all the old crap that's redundant these days.

Anyway, regardless of whether or not you agree with the spirit of the song, would you be offended by either of these covers I'm thinking of putting on the single:

    1) A business women, close up on her head, getting punched really hard in the face. Her nose is being broken and the arm attached to the is obviously a mans, hairy and tattooed.

    or

    2) A business woman, mid-shot from the waist up. The business woman looks deflated and has a black eye.

  • What changed?

Years ago, and I'm talking decades and centuries ago, it was just a given that parents would give a toss about their children. They would look after them and make sure they were set for life.

These days, some people are having children purely because they can get a house off the council if they have dependents.

I know one girl who gets pregnant every time she decides she wants a bigger house. She doesn't care about her kids in the slightest.

What changed? One year people would die for their children, the next, people can't even be bothered to get a job to feed them. What the hell happened in between?

On a scale of one to ten, how good are you at rating things on scales?

  • How much is the Watchmen movie going to suck?

Hellboy: Good except for the last twenty minutes.

    Fantastic Four: Dreadful.

    Elektra: Boring beyond belief.

    Batman Forever: Unbelievable bad.

    X-Men 3: Stupid, stupid, stupid.

    Punisher (both versions): Awful.

For some reason, Hollywood has completely forgotten how to make a decent comic-book movie. I know Batman Begins was good, as were the first and second X-Men movies, but Watchmen is a really complicated story. Is it just me who thinks there's no way in hell Hollywood will pull it off?

  • Can anyone explain this to me?

I've just re-joined Y!A after something like an eight month hiatus. Can anyone explain to me why STILL nobody uses the Check Spelling button, nor does anyone check their grammar?

    Just curious...

  • What would you do...?

What would you do if you noticed an entire buiding was following you around?

It's not like you can hear it or see it move or anything, it's just that every time you turn around, the same building is standing right behind you, acting all innocent like you don't know what it's up to.

    What would you do?
