What is the best cheap liquid CPU cooler?
My computer:
A10-5800k (with stock cooler)
MSI FM2-A75MA-E35
Cooler Master Elite 430 Case
Apevia ATX-CB700W PSU
As you probably know, the stock heatsink/fan is pretty crap. My APU idles at around 50 Celsius, and gets into the 80s fairly easily when playing TF2. I don't really want a air cooler because I have a windowed case and I enjoy making my computer look as nice as possible. I will also probably overclock my APU a little, so a little extra cooling would be nice. I don't want to spend a whole lot of money on a liquid cooler, probably around $60 USD or less. I probably don't have too many options but I've been looking at Corsair's H50 and H60. So what I want to know is if the H60 is much better and worth the extra $10 or is there another competitively priced water cooler that is a better value than the H50 or H60. Remember I don't really want to spend any more than $75 if I don't have to, and I'd prefer to keep it around $60 or less. Another question is will most water coolers fit on an FM2 board even if they don't indicate that they do on Newegg? Thanks for any input on this, I appreciate it
4 AnswersDesktops8 years agoWhich internet connection type would be best for me?
My router is downstairs, and my room where I'm going to put my computer is upstairs and on the opposite side of the house from my router. I get decent wifi connection in my room (3-4 bars) and a wifi adapter would cost ~$10. I also have a cable coming up to my room for television (my internet also comes through cable) so I could buy a cheap cable modem and run an ethernet cable to my computer, modem would cost about $25. Or I could get a powerline device, which would cost about $35. I have a 20 mbps isp plan (I think) and I plan to watch online videos (hulu/youtube) and do some light gaming. Do you think wireless would be good enough or should I spend more to go with a modem or powerline?
1 AnswerComputer Networking8 years agoWhich connector from my PC PSU should I use to power an led strip?
This is my PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8...
LEDs that I'm thinking about getting: http://www.amazon.com/Hitlights-Blue-Lighting-Stri...
What I want to know is if there are any connectors on the power supply that I could use to connect the wires from the LED strip to. Could I use a 4-pin molex connector to power a LED strip? There is also a "12V P4/P8 (4 pin / 8 pin)" connector on the PSU, and the voltage the LED strip is also 12v, so would I be able to use that connector? If I can use either of these connectors, (or if there is a better one to use) which slots in the connector are positive and negative? Also, I am putting this in the inside of my case, so I do not want to use batteries or a different power supply that needs to be plugged in to a wall outlet.
1 AnswerDesktops8 years agoDoes this windows 7 home premium key on ebay look legit?

I'm building a new computer and want to install Windows 7 on it. It appears that they just send you a product key with no disk, which is fine with me. I just am wondering if anyone has had any trouble with buying product keys online for such cheap prices or if you think this seller should be trusted. Any answer is appreciated :)
1 AnswerSoftware8 years agoWould a 300 mbps wireless router give any benefit over a 150 mbps wireless router?
---- PLEASE READ ----
Currently from my wireless router I am getting 54 mbps through wi-fi, and 100 mbps through a wired connection. I assume that I'm only receiving 100 mbps service from my internet provider. I want to buy a new wireless router to improve my wireless speeds (to as high as possible). What I want to know is if a 300 mbps wireless router have any benefit over a 150 mbps router with the current limit on my internet service being 100 mbps (probably). I know this probably sounds like a stupid question, but I've heard that somehow the speed of a wireless router is halved (eg: 150mbps router accually only sending 75 mbps).
3 AnswersComputer Networking8 years agoWould ddr3 2133 have any benefit over ddr3 1866 ram with an a10-5800k apu?
I know that faster RAM will give a much better performance with APUs, but I remember reading somewhere that the a10-5800k only supports up to ddr3 1866 RAM. Also the motherboard I'm interested in (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8... has support for ddr3 1866 and ddr3 2133 (OC), I assume the OC stands for overclocked, so does that mean if I buy ddr3 2133 RAM that I will have to overclock it in order to use it?
2 AnswersDesktops9 years agoCan APU graphics and a graphics card be used together?
I'm thinking of building a computer with an AMD A8-3870K APU. If I end up wanting to upgrade the graphics after a while, would I somehow be able to combine the graphics from the APU and the graphics from a graphics card?

1 AnswerOther - Computers9 years agoIs there a place to buy time warner cable hdtv boxes?
I live in Wisconsin, and I have Time Warner Cable for TV service. I've talked to Time Warner and they only rent out the boxes for $8.50 a month. Is there a place to buy a box either online or at a store? And also will any HDTV box work with the service I get from Time Warner?
1 AnswerTVs9 years agoIs it possible to have different google accounts for youtube and email?
I have a gmail email account for my job, but I have a separate email tied to my youtube account. Whenever I check my emails then go on youtube, it will switch my normal youtube account to the account used for my email, and vise-versa. I also do not want to use my gmail for work as my youtube account. Is there any way around this problem? I also use Chrome as my browser, if this helps at all.
2 AnswersGoogle9 years agoWhy does my laptop get poor wireless signal?
My laptop only gets 3-4 bars in when its in the same room as the router, and not even enough signal to be usable in much of the house. Other laptops we have work perfectly fine throughout the house and get more bars than my laptop. I disassembled my laptop a few weeks ago to put in a new processor, could I have somehow plugged the wires into my wireless card wrong? or forgotten to plug something back in?

4 AnswersDesktops10 years agoI'm thinking about building a pc and i have some questions?
I found this website that seemed like it had good deals, let me know if i should look at other websites or stores. I don't have much computer experience and have never built one, but want to upgrade from my Acer aspire 5532 laptop.
I'm thinking of getting this processor/motherboard combo:

This RAM:

This Hard drive:

Could you tell me if all of these items are compatible and if there are any warnings or suggestions of other products i should buy instead. Also I'm not quite sure what kind of video card, case, and power supply i should get. Please tell me any tips or suggestions you have.

4 AnswersYouTube1 decade agoIs it better to tan a hide (squirrel) with chicken eggs or the brain of the animal?
I've heard both ways work, the eggs seem to be the easiest way to do it. which would do the best job of tanning and preserving it, though? And I know that using salt and alum, or sending it to a professional would be the best option, but I don't have access to any of that stuff.
