My son is autistic we are having a REALLY hard time with scheduling! Not like minutes but as introducing new work to him during school. He is in a self contained class so he has an IEP his anxiety medication helps but honestly introducing ANY new work stresses him! He gets so frustrated as soon as he knows something new will be introduced. He gets extremely frustrated we are tring prior day prep waiting till time to get on the bus and letting him know "Hey there WILL be new work tomorrow" and I remind him before he is dropped off at school that there will be new work. The teachers are also setting a timer to say hey wait a full minutes and sit and TRY before asking for help or getting upset. But things are still pretty rough. Anyone have some advice or ideas?

I know a couple that have decided to breed the shepard they got at the pound for "friends" and to give one to the police department. I have NEVER heard of a more idiotic reason to breed! I have looked at a few websites but need some help in explaining WHY this is a bad idea! any help with websites or information would be GREAT!

I DO NOT HAVE INSURANCE so please saying go to the doctor is going to be met with a eye roll. I mean really if I am on here asking do you think I have the money to go to the DOC? Sitting at the library just trying to narrow this crap down!

So anyways this started about a year ago and is progressively getting worse. IT seems to be sitting right over my fallopian tubes and now it is starting to swell when the pain starts. It ranges from a burning sensation to a stabbing pain and has just grown worse and worse I use to be able to put my hand on the spot and press in and that would help with the pain and now it makes it worse. Veins over the spot are starting to stand out as well and my period seems to make it go away? It usually last about 2 weeks after my period stops and then comes again. Medication like ibuprofen doesn't help. I have had a C section due to my son being breech and exercise seems to help a little as well or at least it stops when I am working out then comes back. And in the past 2 months sometimes it seems to cause me to spot?

I have a gorgeous Aloe plant that has grown to be about 3ft tall and the pot which we are transferring to is going to make it almost 4ft tall. For all its pups I have nice small pots all 10 of them! I live in southern NC so bringing in the smaller ones is easy but for my larger gal this has become a challenge. While we haven't had any frost I am worrying about all the rain we have been getting and how it is going to take any cold at all! Last year it wasn't nearly this large so it could come in and outside and do just fine. I need some information on how to keep her happy and what I can do to keep her safe!

I'm military and have to have styles that I can take out but I loved before got in and had my bright blue, purple and black highlights! I miss it so much but what else can I do? I am willing to try just about anything that won't damage my hair! Any suggestions?

Ok so I have a slightly slopped rather pain in the A red clay front yard, I started out just throwing horse manure (well composted) over it and in those patches grass has grown alright but very patchy. I have tried multiple seed and brands till the point where I am just sick of it. So I sent for soil samples and learned that lime will be a benefit for out property. Question is will the following act help in the end? My plan is to throw down line in July let it soak(sit?) till October then throw out manure/compost again, Throw out my seed and finally cover it all with Straw. Then pray that come next summer I actually have a decent yard of grass,

My C section is 8 years old and in the past year I started to notice this blue vein that is going across it on the right hand side at the very end of the scar. Well at first it was just noticeably blue.... then the burning would start occasionally usually once a month but slowly it has become more often. Now it is doing it every 15-20min. This just sharp burning and now painful bit that last for about 1min or until I usually grab that area and kind of pull it away from my body. I have never heard of anything like this and was wondering if anyone else had I thought it would stop. It usually does but my doctors office doesn't open back up till Tuesday so I was hoping to get some insight. Any ideas?

SO I was watching a horror movie and it got me thinking about the cultural, spirituals similarities between everyone such as the boogeyman and demons. How some of these myths and folklore seems to span nationalities and all and not to mention time periods. I was hoping there was a book comparing them and telling about the folklore and where it comes from and how they are the same or different.

I am watching this movie that talks about the bughuul I think it is spelled? And basically it is the boogeyman. I started researching and I was curious to know if every single culture has a form of the boogeyman? Be it demons, male, female or some kind of ocean or forest creature that takes children? Can someone help me comprise a list? I think even the native American's have a story. Just looking for a list!

So I took my cat to the vet FIRST off let me say that before I get the "take it to the vet" that always comes. He has gone but I never got a real answer other than "tummy ache" and honestly I fear it was more. SO my story begins I have a 12yr old tabby that I raised from the time he was about 2-3weeks old some kids dropped him off on my front porch. On Thursday I came home to find that a bowl of fruit (it had a locking lid) had been overturned on my table and he had gotten into the cantaloupe now I read that it is ok in moderation and I was a bit concerned cause I think he got a good bit of it. Thought hey I will keep an eye on him this was at 3pm that night at 8pm I came home fed everyone (we have 2 other cats though they didn't eat a thing thank you security cam) and he didn't come out now this is a 10lbs tabby he loves his foot I shake the dry food in the bowl and he comes running. He didn't this was sign 1, next I went to find him to make sure by some miracle he didn't get out found him under the bed at the edge and pulled him out. He meowed quietly and when I went to put him down in the kitchen he just collapsed like his legs didn't work he wasn't stiff but his ears and back and eyes were twitching. This SCARED me. Called the vet they said bring him in tomorrow at 9am. So I did ran blood work, urine and more they didn't find anything other than his cholesterol was a point too low and he was moody....really? It took 3 days for him to start eating again.

OK so let me try to take a long story and make it short without giving out way too much detail. So basically I got pregnant at 17 I was naive and stupid and barely graduated high school but hey I did. My sons biological father is worthless he has never attempted to contact my son or try to be with or there for him in any way. His excuse is he doesn't' have the money to pay for child support and that he is afraid of my mother.... really? When my son was 5 the biological father's mother came back around to give me back the journal I kept as a kid and just to say hi, well trying to be the better person I reached out. For about 6 months I went out of my way driving to there house, planning visits and more to make it to where they could see my son and it was mostly his mom seeing him and not him. He really just sat in his room and played video games and yes he lives with his mother. But I never wanted my son to look at me and say "why didn't you try". After getting tired of what I felt was being used I told them enough I won't help anymore I won't do the work I wrote a long letter just venting telling them how I can't see how the excuses could ever work and I wouldn't be blamed for there lack of give a darn! Since that time each year I write a letter plainly stating "I am making a effort but if you don't meet me half way you can NEVER blame me for not being able to see your son. I want to make sure he knows I tried". Here is my cell phone number, my email, my facebook and even my work email. I WILL NOT give them my new home address my home is a sanctuary for me NO one comes to my home unless I welcome them!

Now though I am being told I could get in trouble from this.... Really? I am just wondering if ANYONE thinks or believes that is possible? I am a good mom, my letters are NEVER threatening but center around how my son has grown and is developing the triumphs and even failures he has had, the rough spots and just amazing things I have learned from this wonderful little boy. I keep copies of these letters and starting this year going to have them have to sign for them so they can never claim that "we didn't get them". I guess in a way I am covering my rear so that my son knows that I tried I don't want him to think I drove his father away or anything of that nature. But at the same time NOT bad talk his biological father and to me this was a decent answer or the best one I could come up with.

Ok so just obtained 10acres of land and honestly I LOVE IT, yes it is raw and a lot of red mud and downed trees, sticks, etc. But to be honest it is home and slowly we are building up. We got a nice modular home and now I am really wanting to work on the yard and start making it into the dream home! So ok here are my questions.

I am wanting to create a nice low budget fire pit for all of us to sit around this fall. My ideal is about 25ft diameter the pit in the center a wooden arch with english ivy on one side far enough back not to be damaged by the fire. One of the great things about my property we have a lot of rocks and a good many of them are flat so I am working on gathering rocks to use as kind of a platform around the pit.

1) What is a good priced wooden arch or how can I make one?

2) What is a good priced fire pit or a good way to make one?

Now on the back 2acres of my property is a nice little creek and there is a natural little pool that is about 5in deep and ft wide I am wondering if I can widen and deepen it?? IT seems that this creek is spring fed so I am really looking to take advantage and make this a place that my son can go up and dip his feet in! Not to mention I don't mind just playing in that little creek myself.

1) widening and deepening should I use rocks from the property to line it?

2)keeping it clean what types of native Southeastern plants can I use that are a natural filter?

Dealing with briers now there is an entire 1/4 of an acre that is blackberry and that is being left alone and yeah they are vicious but I can use boards and some other methods to get at those and I love the darn things so I keep them. But other briers are pretty useless and sadly being in the southeast kudzu is also a problem and my machete has become my best friend.

1)Also stinging nettle is this a keep or a hack?

2) Can I harvest or help along the passion flowers that are growing on the property?

3) solar toys I love solar garden items what are some useful ones?

4) Hardy flowers? What are some flowers that grow over and over again I love my roses and hydrangeas got white ones and after planting and a year of growth they have changed to purple.

5) Edible plants in the garden what are some good easy keepers? I have 3 blueberry bushes and a fig bush is growing but they usually take 3-4 years of good growth before they can really produce.

6) English Ivy and your house, now I am told it can be damaging to the siding if your home....is this true and how damaging? I mean we have no trees around our home and was hoping to use a little ivy as shade to help with the power bill is this wise?

We have eaten this in my family for years ever since I was little I know! Thing is I want to spice it up a little, would it change or lessen the taste to maybe add black beans or some other type of bean? Old I add in cilantro or garlic maybe? Ok spark plugs have all been replaced and it is stuttering again like when the spark plugs were bad. I started to notice this smell that is like cat pee or just nasty coming form underneath the car. Well when I went to put in some antifreeze I find the smell is strongest there!! Any ideas as to the why it smells there? All of this started after I out some of that gas ad crap in from Walmart ya know you pay like $4 and it is the additive suppose to make your vehicle run better.....kind of screwed on that!!!

Ok so I joined the national guard I am a single mom and my son will be staying with his grandparents while I attend bootcamp. I am not on here for judgement in deciding to go into the military it is a decision I have been thinking about for well over 2yrs been in talks with my sons grandparents and more so it is done I am signed up I leave in 3 months.

My sons father is MIA and has only seen my son 3 times in his life, well we haven't heard a peep from them in over a year. Well my sister sees them in Walmart and he decides to walk up to her and say "with your sister being a shitty mom maybe now I can get my son". So now I am worried! And wondering if there is legal papers I need to draw up. At one point he wanted the deal of if I will sign to never ask for child support (which I never planned to) he would sign papers to never try and get parental rights........can I do that? And should I?
