Peeing Blood... other symptoms?
Ok, here is the short of it.
Thursday, I went out for breakfast. I brought the left overs home and had them that afternoon and shared them with my son.
The next morning, I was feeling very sick - stomach pains coming in "waves" - coming and going - so I kind of assumed it was PMS cramps until I started vomiting. My son also threw up that morning, and I was throwing up all day with extreme stomach pain, which made me suspect food poisoning. I slept most of the day between the pain.
I woke up this morning feeling mostly better, but the stomach pain has been returning in extremely painful waves. Then I went to the bathroom and discovered I was peeing blood.
Any ideas as to the cause? Can food poisoning cause blood in the urine, or is it likely a different cause?
(Add't - I am a 21 year old otherwise healthy female)
4 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agoBleeding during miscarriage?
Easy enough question... how much is too much?
I would be about 16 weeks at this point. I went to stand up from sitting, and blood gushed everywhere (same sensation as when your water breaks and gushes out). I have been losing a lot of blood since then. At what point am I at risk for losing too much blood? How long should the bleeding continue, at this rate?
4 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoCycle Issues? Please help?
I will try to make this short and simple.
Had a baby January 8th, 2009. Was not "active" afterwards as had a difficult birth, so was not concerned about birth control right away.
Got what seemed to be a period finally beginning of April. Was using condoms in the rare case of sex, just to be safe.
After getting period in April, decided to go on regular birth control to try to regulate my cycle. I know its common to get a period one month, and not the next, after childbirth.
Started birth control. After 3 weeks on, went to have my week off for my period, only did not get a period. Again, used condoms as a back up method (although, they are never 100%).
Question: As I know its common to miss your period often after childbirth, is it STILL possible to miss it when you go on birth control? Should the birth control not "fix" your cycle?
1 AnswerPregnancy1 decade agoBaby Rash? Please help! Picture!?
Within the last hour, my 4 1/2 month old son developed this rash on his face. He hasn't been exposed to anything new at all lately.

7 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoNon-Regular cycle after Childbirth?
I gave birth to my first and only child four and a half months ago. I breastfed in the beginning but then switched to formula.
Due to complications during the birth, I did not resume sexual activity until about 10 weeks after birth.
I got my first period at just over 3 months after the birth. However, it seemed to be a strange period - longer than usual, and the blood seemed extremely fresh (bright red instead of usual brown/red).
Since then, I have not had my next period. (Its been about 7 weeks since my last one). I highly doubt being pregnant again as I have been using birth control methods 100% of the time.
Has anybody else had this experience? Having one unusual period after birth, and then your next period being late? Is it common that your cycle is not back on a 28 day schedule right away?
Thanks!
