I'm just curious if there were no tax cuts across the board.

To be clear my understanding of the candidates' platforms are:

Romney - Tax cuts for everyone including millionaires

Obama - Tax cuts only for people making less than 250k per year

I understand these figures apply to households as well.

I just want to know what the outcome would be.

I just have a quick question regarding this new bill passing. If the bill passes, which we hope that it should considering all those who are still trying to find jobs and are unsuccessful.

Even if there is another extension.

Would it even affect new york workers on unemployment considering the three month average of unemployment rates is at 8.3? This is below the 8.5 limit set by the fed, so i need to know if i need to take out a loan, or may continue collecting. I'm on week 60 unfortunately, but I am attending classes that are sanctioned by the state, but they didn't start till this week and my unemployment "ran out" last week.

I'm sure a lor of people might want to just tear me apart for getting the DWI in the first place. I assure you I was younger and much more foolish then than I am now. So my situation seems to have escalated a year after sentencing. I was asked to pay 1000 dollars over the course of a year for NJ and 250 dollars per year for three years to the state of NY where the misdemeanor ruling was given.

Today one year after starting to pay the thousand dollar surcharge to NJ they added another thousand dollars to my balance. My questions are as follows:

1. Am I supposed to be paying these surcharges in both states? (NJ is supposed to be based on points and they have not added any points to my record.Also, the crime wasn't committed here so why am I being charged here, there was no hearing or anything in NJ)

2. Is it worth spending my time and effort trying to get these surcharges dropped? ( My case was ruled as a conditional discharge which according to my lawyer meant a clean record in a year.)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am having a disagreement with my girlfriend. She wants me to move in with her in 6 months and I know that without some stroke of extreme luck, I will not financially be able to do so. Her current roommates are moving out in 6 months because they are law students, one's moving to New Jersey and one is moving in with her boyfriend. My girlfriend wants to stay in Astoria Queens. If any of that matters, figured I'd be thorough. Rent is about 2400 where they are living now in a 3 bedroom for referential purposes. She doesn't want to live alone, so I say she has few options but living with a new roommate might be the most likely. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I have been working in New York City for 18 months. I have been living in New Jersey the entire time. New York said I can file with New Jersey, New Jersey said I can't. I made about 46,000 last year.

I'm about to lose my job and plan my finances accordingly.

I was just reading this message board where people are posting that today's Google logo is appalling. I don't understand why some people couldn't at least consider that homo-sapiens weren't just a product of evolution, and that it was as God intended. I don't see why they get their panties in a bunch because if anyone thinks that we looked like we do now at the beginning of time I think it shows a little lack of intelligence. What do you have to say here?

I don't get any satisfaction out of seeing her cry, but it seems that if there is an argument that is really where it ends... it is like she is admitting that she is wrong or something sometimes... she stops talking and just gets quiet. I don't want to make her cry, but she does... any help, and does it mean that you are right or just that she is sad?

So I apparently grope my girlfriend while I'm sleeping and don't really remember all that well unless she wakes me up mid grab. It isn't like I am reaching down her pants or anything, but I guess I'm copping a feel occasionally while asleep. I have written it off before to being turned on and then falling asleep because she is usually too tired for sex, but last night we had sex and it still happened. I do remember pulling my hand away, that is about it, but I would like to know how to stop this or at least have some sort of reason why it happens. I'm 24 but I mean I'm on a high hormone kick for some reason. I am taking tetracycline for slight adult acne, it isn't terrible but I don't know if the drugs would alter hormone levels. She says it has gone on for quite some time but now it is just getting to her... Is this completely not normal? and what can i do I mean I'm unconscious really?
