I was clearing out the brush between mine and my neighbors back yards behind our sheds and this plant was NOT there. A week later, I walk back there and here is this gorgeous leafed plant! The photo doesn't do it much justice. Can anyone identify this fuzzy pink tipped leaf plant? If it is not something poisonous to touch or anything, I'd like to transplant it to my garden area!

I've been trying to kill this sucker since I bought my house. It was a fairly large bush I cut to the stump and it grows RIGHT under my bedroom window, ugh. It's been 8 years now and every spring he pops back out of the ground! lol. Can anyone tell me what it is?

My boss was in a doozy of an accident last night. He got T-boned turning to a parking lot when someone whipped around stopped traffic without seeing him. It was both of their faults and neither of their faults, no one got a ticket. Anyhow, the guy hit my boss pretty hard. My coworker was following him in his own vehicle when it happened and ran up to his car and said he was knocked out cold and he could get him to respond for over a minute.

At any rate, he went to the hospital and was released with minor bruising and now he is at WORK. I gave him a big hug and said I was so glad he is okay and what was he doing in the office this morning since I knew he'd be darn sore from my own accident experiences. He said he could be sore at the office just as good as he could at home.

So our relationship is that we are a small, close knit office with Just six salesman and me at a very small family run business. We are closer than most coworkers but still, it IS an office, except you can joke or complimet someone here without it being harrassment and hugging a coworker here isn't weird. LOL... so I'd like to get him just a little something that says, 'hey, I care and I'm glad you are OKAY!' but he is trying to get in better shape and lose weight (he was turning into the Duke hospital wellness center when he got in the wreck) so no treats and he isn't in the hospital so flowers are inappropriate as well... and he is a darn adult so I'm not going to give him a card and a stuffed bear or something.

Does anyone have any ideas?

So, I bought a car in April that had been in a wreck and was restored. It had no AC and the dealership installed a new condenser siting that as the problem. a month later, when the AC went out again, they basically said 'oh well'... so I took it to a shop and I was told I had a leak in the compressor as well as a small gasket leak at the condenser, apparently from when they installed the new one. I got the estimate of $760 for these repairs but couldn't afford it in August as I was getting married 9/17/11.

Now I am married, all settled in and took my car in for these costly repairs. I just got a phone call from the shop and the first thing he says is, "Had this car ever been in an accident?" first of all, this is a stupid question, while my torrent looks perfect on the outside, you can tell inside the fenders ect when you open the hood that it has been repaired..... anyway, I said yes and he proceeded to explain that there is a plastic plate thingy that sits on top of the condenser like a hat and mine is broken. Probably from the minor accident and no one noticed at the time, but it was cracked in half and only one side was still secure and other was rattling around and had rubbed a hole through the condenser.... now, to me, this sounds like BS... a piece of plastic rattling around could wear a hole in METAL in the span of 4-5 months or even a month in a half since that is when they gave me the estimate for these repairs? I don't drive much, mind you. A 10 minute ride to work and home daily.

Wouldn't they have noticed that last month? The hole wasn't there then!?

So my question is.... is this even POSSIBLE that the plastic could rattle and rub a whole in a condensor or is the 20-something blond girl getting snowed by the mechanic. My bill went from $760 to $1407 is that one little phone call.

I recently bought a car from a used dealership and when I test drove it, it had no AC. The salesman were shocked. They'd had the car a week and it had worked fine until that day. They told me if I bought the car, they would fix whatever was wrong with the AC. So I bought it. They filled it with refrigerant and dye and 3 weeks later when it went out again, I took it to their shop and they discovered a tiny hole in the condenser. They fixed it and I took the car back home. They thought it was going to be a hose and were probably not pleased it was the condenser.

Anyway. Since I have had it home, and the weather has gotten hotter, it's doing this weird thing where it switches itself back and forth between inside air and outside air. When it does this, there is a few seconds of hot air that comes out while it switches hoses (and the stale air in that hose is warm). It also makes a large difference in the FORCE of air coming out making a low whoosh noise suddenly become a WHOOOOSH noise. These 2 things make for a super annoying ride in the heat. it only seems to do this in temps above 90 or so. in the mornings on the ride into work when it's only 80-ish degrees outside it doesn't do it at all. but it does it on ALL the settings (1-5)...

I just upgraded from a 2002 Pontiac Aztek to this 2007 Pontiac Torrent and my fiance and I are wondering if this is some kind of sensor thing? Like, was something installed on these vehicles that is supposed to sense the more efficient way to cool and switches it by itself? It sounds dumb but if it isn't that, then something is quite wrong with my AC.

If it IS that, how do I turn it OFF? If it ISN'T that, any ideas on what it might be would be lovely.

Last year, after I had already planted my garden I stumbled upon a site that had a built in program where you told it how big of a garden bed you had, chose the veggies you wanted, and it helped you build a garden with your space, automatically determining where to plant, and the number of each plant you should have.

I can not for the LIFE of me, find this program now, and I am trying to plan my 4x4 raised bed which is drastically smaller than last years garden!

Today my water stopped working and I just had a service man out to look at it and he said the whole well system is shot. the bladder broke in the tank and it was full of water and it overworked the well pump and it's burned up. They estimated a new stainless steel well pump, new bladder tank, and new pressure switch and pipes surrounding it all (they were old and needed replacing) at $2320.00

Does anyone know if this is right or if I am being taken? I am just a girl in my 20's who is a homeowner and I don't want service man taking me for all I am worth....

My boyfriend stopped playing yoville and took it off his apps even i think. he hasn't been getting gift notifications from anyone now that he has decided to play again. could they be somehow turned off?

so, we moved to NC from NH where there is no sales tax. NC has 7%. My sister wants to purchase something from lowes.com which is pretty expensive, about $450 and the tax is about $40. Since we still have family in NH she wants to put the 'billing address' as a NH address and the 'shipping address' as her own so she still gets the item but saves $40... will this work?

I saw it once in walmart. it was guaranteed not to stick to gems in your pieces, only to metals and you simply dipped it like you would into a jewelry clear (the jar looked similar) now I can't find the stuff!! this was just a couple years ago, does anyone know where I can get this metal plating now? I want to replate some vintage pieces.
