I am completing my Associates of Arts at a community college to transfer to a University. Since I am Bilingual I was able to test out of 4 semester's of Spanish. Can I use those credit hours as part of my required Electives? Or do I have to take the electives the advisor recommended (economics and accounting)?

if she got invited to a VIP meet and greet concert in Nashville for 3 nights and obviously you couldnt come. Told her friend who invited her yes on the spot and now has another friend who got a great deal on plane tickets ($60 round trip to NYC), has friends there so no hotel needed. But the only thing is if a boyfriend comes a long they would have to get a hotel room and spend money they dont' have plus it would be a differnet trip and no longer just a girl trip. The issue is that the trip for NYC would be May 21st through May 24th and the trip to Nashville would be May 25th through May 29th. Would you be okay with this? Knowing that she would love for it to be a Couple thing but also loves that it's a Girlfriend week! ???????

It's more cross training (i think) I will be walking, running, biking and jogging to get ready for 5k marathon. I want some better shoes than the ones i have. I was just going to go buy some at lady's footlocker but was told i should get them "fitted". I didn't know they did this and then looked at the price! Yikes!! I haven't bought tennis shoes in a long time. I don't have 80-180 bucks to spend on some shoes which I know most of you will tell me it's a most. Is there somewhere I can go that they can tell me which ones to get that aren't super expensive like RUNON??? I would like to stay around $40-$50

My brother turns 30 this year and I am throwing him a backyard party. His wife asked if we could have his and my nieces together. Since that's what they normally. I am totally okay with it but now I cant' think of a theme that would be for both? They don't have to be actual "themes" but any ideas would be help ful.

I have a friend who I haven't seen in a long time he has been stationed in Iraq for the past year or so. He is coming this weekend and we're having them over for dinner. He is coming with his financee who I've never met but seems very nice. We were thinking a nice Steak dinner, wine, hookah the whole works. I just didn't know if there was anything that troops would really enjoy? Like a home made cake...or a gift of some kind? Being away from home has been touch for both and we're the first people they are having dinner when they get back so wanted to make it special. Any ideas would be great, Thank you

I am putting together a birthday basket for a 1 year old. It's really a lined storage basket, I bought 2 gifts which are wrapped a bunny (for easter) books and a personalized sippy cup. The problem is that the storage basket is too deep and I need to put something underneath that will lift everything to see. What could I use that's big and bulky??? Yet leveled to place gifts on top'?

I will be wearing this dress, my boyfriend is wearing a brownish/nude with blue color jacket and a white shirt, blue pants. My son will be wearing khaki's and has a blue blazer...possibly a white shirt as well? I'm trying to figure out a way to tie everything together. Should they both wear a tie or just my son? Okay so people get hit that they have cancer ONLY after they tell their doctor they are in pain. Why then do we have to wait to be checked?? I understand that PET/MRI/CT Scans are expensive but so is chemo. So why not make it mandatory to have a scan done after the age of ___??? every ____??? years. My suggestion would be after the age of 40 every 3-4 years. I mean woman get breast exams for this reason every year..so I don't understand why we are allowing people to live with cancer when it can be caught early on. What is your view on this issue?

My coworker is in her early 40's will be married on March 28th for the second time. Both second wedding for the groom and bride. They want someone simple so we're just having a get to gether here at work at her fav resturant and present her with a spa gift certificate. Any ideas on what to do? Should I bring balloons? Cake? Ideas on what to do while at the restaurant. Very simple!

I cancelled my car insurance and told them i wanted my last day to be today (Jan 29) with them. I started my new car insurance on Jan 30 (tomorrow) but paid for it about 2 weeks ago. I locked my keys in my car today. Called current insurance said they cancelled my insurance as of 12:01 this morning therefore i am without coverage this day. They told me to pay out of pocket and to file it with new insurance. But i feel its their fault my policy expires on the 29th which is why i wanted it to be my last day. Who is right? Do i just drop it?

So my live in boyfriend and I are taking a trip to a disclose location. Beaches, pent houses, sail boats are all involved. We are going mainly because our couple friend went last year and they loved it! So we were looking into it and they mentioned they would like to return. So we found a pent house with two bedrooms and a roof top and asked if they wanted to come we would have room. (We would of course share the cost) Now it turns out that they invited an old friend of theirs who i think is the coolest person ever. Except that person will be coming alone. So two couples and one person just kinda hanging out. Should I care? I mean we won't ever be able to go off with friends just to have a good time, so just make the best of it?? Or should we just say we decided to go alone? On one hand I would love the accompany since I lvoe them all to death and know we would all have fun. On the other I would love a romantic getaway..invitations have already been made to the couple so no turning back...right? Any stories??? What woul dyou do?

I have worked with my partner in crime for about 2 years. We are very close and well we spend all day together. We normally go all out for each others birthdays and we give personal gifts. (like things we eye down and love but don't want to buy we secretly go out and get it for the other) Anyway I am 23 and she is 55, her husband of 30 years has had 7 bypass surgeries and it's a miracle he is still alive. He suffered from another heart attack last night and he's at the hospital which is literally 5 minutes from my house. I wanted to go by after work and didn't know what I should take? He has been in and out of the hospital obviously more times than most so how can i put this...it's not a big deal being there and they might even release him today or tomorrow if putting a stencil works...(sorry if i misspelled that) I still want to go by there just for support and didn't know what if anything should I take? Food? Fruit? Flowers? Card? Magazines? Help

We are staying in the Sandia Resort and Casino for 2 nights for Valentines Day. (Feb 13-14) My boyfriend birthday was 2 weeks ago so I already did the whole bubble bath, smores night, baking a cake, going paintballing for his birthday. I need something different any advice on what I can do since we'll already be away?? Any good places to go on Valentines day in NM??? Help!
