I am about to start an english conversation class for the second time. The first time I had quite a big crowd during the first classes but students were reducing in amount as time went by until I finally had to call it quits. I am looking for topics that would really encourage students to express their opinion. So far I know that both Death Penalty and Abortion have been a huge success, everybody had a different opinion and they all wanted to express it out. Can you suggest topics that could warm blood in class?

I need to find at least one verb (If there is...) that ends in "y" and which previous letter is a vowel but that in third person adds "es" instead of just an "s".

I know the rule is: vowel+y= "s" at the end (Buy = Buys). And consonant+y= "es" at the end (Study = Studies). I just want to know if there is at least one verb that breaks this rule. You know what they say: There is no rule without exception!
