I'm writing a song for a girl that I like, she's leaving to study abroad in a couple days. I'm essentially saying in this song that: " I really like you. But, for now I have to let you go."

I'm having trouble writing the lyrics. At the moment the song is called: Across the Sea. Any ideas to help me get started?

So I'm planning a novel/memoir. The main character has ran away from school because he's severely depressed and he needs some time away from everything. His best friend finds him staking out in a barn and brings him back school, and he eventually decides to help him get his life back on track.

Two questions:

1. Should I write this in 1st person (the viewpoint of the main character) or in third person?

There's a chapter in the novel where i plan to change the viewpoint from the main character to the main chracter's friend. This only happens in one chapter and it's because the main characters two friends are hanging out and talking about the main character alone.

So my follow up question is?

2. What viewpoint should this chapter be in?

I remember watching it as a kid but that was a long time ago, the last series I finished was S.P.D and I watched bits and pieces of Mystic Force but never really liked it.

So i'm writing a memoir/novel. It's about this guy who's messed up, and his friend helps him become stable.

In the first scene the main character is sitting on top of his car in a clearing. His roommate texts him but, the main character hates his roommate so he turns off his phone. About 20 minutes later a cop comes out of nowhere. The cop stops in front of the main character's car, gets out and approaches him. Why is the cop here, and what does he say to the main character?

So I'm into one of my best friends. We're both in college, both sophomore and both music majors. We go to different schools tho. Anyways I knew this girl in high school and near the end of senior year we started becoming friends. Once we both went to college we started writing letters to each other. We still do to this day. I get the feeling this girl likes me but I'm not sure. As far as I know I'm the only person she writes to. We always have a really good time when we hang out. Recently she wrote me a really long letter basically telling me how she's being having a really hard time in school, and she told me some pretty deep stuff. That has to mean something right? She usually likes my photos on Instagram especially my selfies. The last time I saw her a gave a kiss on the cheek, and she said:"it was fine" I really like this girl and she means a lot to me. But I am SO bad with signals.

So I'm in college and I'm still friends with a girl from high school. I'm a sophomore and we've been writing letters since the beginning of freshman year and I would consider myself to be one of her best friends. Bc we write to each other we don't text a lot. Recently she wrote me this super long letter and she basically told me that she's having a tough time at school. This girl really cares about me but I don't know if she likes me. I popped her the question in the summer and she told me that we should try and get closer. We always have a really good time together, usually get coffee and I asked her out once and she accepted but she told me that the timing was off. Does she like me?

I'm an aspiring songwriter, and i'm trying to combine Sonic Youth, with early Radiohead (the Bends era.) I'm not really into Sonic Youth but, I have Daydream Nation, and have been listening to the front half of Goo. What do you SY fans recommend for someone starting out. And what do you think about combining them with Radiohead? I'm not sure what it'll sound like but i think it'll be awesome! (That is if i can figure out a way to combine the two.) Thanks guys! So they're a girl a school that i am into (we're in college). I was pretty convinced that she had feelings for me. Over thanksgiving break we'd text for a good amount of time each day for 4 days. We had gone out to dinner just as friends, and everything was great. So I decided to ask her out, and did. She accepted, i was ecstatic and shocked being that it was the first time i'd ever asked anyone out. The next day we got dinner, she told me that she just wanted to stay friends, and that we'd still go out just as friends. She said that she wanted to preserve the friendship and I was perfectly fine with it. I accepted the fact that those were her feeling and I could do nothing to change them. But, lately i've been thinking about her a lot. I feel that it's awkward between us, i just get a weird vibe between us now. I haven't really talked to her about it being awkward, i'm unsure of what to do. And i'm frustrated because, i feel it should be awkward between us but it is.

I also should note that i get really hung over girls, and this adds to my frustration. I just can't seem to get her out of my head. Any advice would be appreciated.
