Do ladies / girls with very long hair ever use hairdressers in the traditional way ...?
to have their hair 'dressed' rather than having it cut? How capable would most hairdressers be today in taking hold of thigh length or knee length hair & arranging this hair into an attractive neat bun?
1 AnswerHair8 years agoLadies / Girls with waist (or longer) length hair .....?
do you consider your hair to be a fifth limb? How instinctive is it for you to keep your hair free from / or not get caught in obstacles?
2 AnswersHair8 years agoDo Indian & Chinese women have a longer average terminal length to their hair ....?
or do they simply have more patience with maintaining ultra-long tresses than Western women do? I've noticed that some Indian, Chinese & other Eastern women (Burmese, Indonesian etc) have hair of such lengths that are almost unknown among Western women.
4 AnswersHair8 years agoReligious Sikh women; do you grow your hair exceptionally long purely out of religious duty .....?
because you think such long hair makes you look beautiful (as a Hindu woman might consider the issue).

2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoGrowth rate of Asian / Indian Sub-continent hair?
It is reckoned that, on average, Western hair grows at 1/2" per month, 6" inches per year without trims. In view that Indian, Chinese & other Asian women have had a centuries old tradition of growing their hair exceptionally long, often down to their knees, at which length it is still thick & full. I would be interested to know whether a FASTER growth rate has something to do with this.
After all, Chinese hair & hair of people from the Indian Sub-continent have different TEXTURES to Western hair so it seems to be reasonable to wonder whether the growth rates might be different.
To put the question in a different way, if a Chinese, Indian or Filipina woman were to have her head shaven, how many months / years would it take for her to grow waist length (approx 24" long) hair? For a healthy Western women it would take about 4 years.

3 AnswersHair9 years agoWhy are female American Pentecostals allowed to TRIM their hair?
I can understand these ladies growing their hair exceptionally long (long hair is a women's glory ...). I can understand these ladies even growing their hair down to their knees but then, why don't they neaten their hair up by having an inch taken off the ends. Why should that be forbidden?
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoIs there any girl or lady among you answerers who has never had your hair cut ....?

What is the reason why your / her hair has never been cut?

4 AnswersHair10 years agoIs it right that females should be pressurised into donating their long hair?
There is clearly MORE THAN ENOUGH hair to make wigs for people who are bald as a result of alopecia or leukemia. Why are so many women obsessed with asking those with exceptionally long hair to go for a drastic hair cut & donate? Do any of you have any experience of this? has an employment issue ever posed a problem that has been difficult to solve? For example, nurses or air stewardesses who are required to wear their hair 'up' & it wouldn't easily stay up or engineers who need to put their hair under a 'hard hat' for protection. What are your stories.

3 AnswersHair1 decade agoKnee length hair in India ......?
I'm aware of certain websites that encourage & promote Indian ladies to grow their hair exceptionally long e.g.
http://www.ethniclonghair.com/
http://www.indianrapunzels.com/index_2.htm
My question is that if you were walking down the street in Delhi, Calcutta, Bombay, Bangalore, Madras or smaller towns / villages, how often does one see ladies with knee length hair? In my country, the UK, even among the ethnic Indian community, such things are never seen. (By the way, I'm not being critical - I regard such long hair as exceptionally beautiful.)
