6 AnswersVegetarian & Vegan9 years agoSims 3 Generations- How do I get my grounded teenage sim to school?
He originally got grounded because he was egging a neighbor's house after curfew. I tried to get him to school the next morning but I couldn't because his mom was like "not so fast mister, you're grounded." He got grounded again later in the day for missing school.
So how do I work around this? I have no issues with downloading and installing player made mods or fixes if I have to.

2 AnswersReptiles9 years agoSims 3- can I delete thumbnail files?
My game was starting to slow down so I tried deleting the cache files but that didn't help. I browsed through the other files and found one called "ObjectThumbnails.package" in the thumbnails folder that's 107MB.
I exceed system requirements by the way so that's not the problem.
3 AnswersVideo & Online Games9 years agoDoes anyone else have a cat who has to be in the same room you are in all the time?
When I'm cooking, my cat is sitting on a stool in the kitchen watching me.
When I go to sleep he's at the foot of my bed.
When I'm in the living room, he's on my lap.
When I go to the bathroom he waits outside the door.
The only times he's not in the same room is when he's eating or using the litter box.
I wonder if I babied him too much. He's 2 years old now and still very kitten like.
2 AnswersCats9 years agoHow can I keep zucchini good for a long time?
I don't like zucchini but I have a fish that does. A couple times a week I put a slice in the tank for her. So a single zucchini can last me several weeks. What's the best way for me to keep it fresh for a long time?

8 AnswersFish9 years agoWho's idea was it to merge Pokemon with Samurai Warriors?
Pokemon Conquest? Silly idea. At least it's new and original. Pokemon has gotten a little stale since DPP. But still silly.
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games9 years agoWhat should I do about this baby rabbit?
My cat brought a wild baby rabbit in the house. I have no idea where it came from or where it's burrow would be. I'm not sure how old it is. It's eyes are open and it's a little bigger then a softball. It's also bleeding (thanks to my cat). I don't want to just outright kill it. Right now I have it in an empty 10 gallon fish tank (without a lid) with wood shavings on the bottom and a couple paper towels on top of the wood shavings.
I don't know if it would be a good idea to put it back outside. there are cats, racoons, possums, and other things that would love to eat a baby rabbit.
3 AnswersOther - Pets9 years agoIs this normal for a planted tank?
I have a heavily planted low-tech 20g planted tank. Everything is looking good. There was a little die-back from the anachris but the brown dead stuff was replaced by green shoots, and I've removed any dead bits.
Anyways, I added some pure ammonia until I got ~3 ppm last week Wednesday. It's going down rather quickly. Today it's at .5 ppm. There is no nitrite readings yet. Is that supposed to happen? Ammonia is going down much faster then when I cycle an unplanted tank.
Also, I had the filter for my 20g hooked up to a cycled 55g for 2 weeks.
5 AnswersFish9 years agoWhy do people believe fish are the easiest pets to take care of?
They are the most difficult pet I have cared for. You have to keep a close eye on water quality. One small mistake can lead to a tank fill with dead fish. But people think they are easy. Many believe that goldfish with short lifespans is normal because they rarely live over a year, when in reality a well cared for goldfish can easily outlive a dog or a cat.
9 AnswersOther - Pets9 years agoAnyone got any good breakfast recipes involving fruit?
Mother's Day is coming up and I want to make something with fruit because my mom loves fruit. And since this is something special, don't feel shy about posting anything that isn't exactly a "health food".
9 AnswersCooking & Recipes9 years agoIs it really safe to put plain white chalk in a planted fish tank?
I was browsing through a forum and someone said that if your water is too soft (causing roots to rot) then you can stick plain white blackboard chalk in the soil to harden the water.
4 AnswersFish9 years agoSo do you or do you not cycle a tank with the Walstad method?
I have an empty 20g and I want to try the Walstad method with it where the only things living in there (other then the plants) is some cherry shrimp.
I've been reading that since you have a ton of live plants that act as natural filtration, and a lightly stocked you can add fish right away. Seems dangerous to me.
