took on this 1st gen Expedition project to kill 2 birds with one stone. I have two expeditions one is a 2000 Eddie Bauer with a clean running engine 107k miles on it and runs smooth.This Expedition was hit on the passenger side and bent in the front passenger door frame and some of the backdoor. Bchassis/frame was not touched or damaged just the body of the car.

I got this Expedition first on a barter trade and was going to do the body work myself as a learning experience and afternoon project. But then I came across and got a second Expedition which is a 2002 Eddie Bauer 4x4 with an engine that needs head gaskets.

This Expeditions body is immaculate and extremely well taken care of. It's also a 4x4 so what I want to do now is put the 2002 body on the 2000 Expedition frame but the 2000 Expedition is not a 4x4 the 2002 is.

What I want to do with this one later on is fix the head gaskets myself and turn this Expedition into an off-road toy. I would use the non 4x4 2000 body on the 02 4x4 frame. Being how this will be an off road toy I was going to weld a roll cage on it and just weld some open doors on it and call it a day, but this body did not have the 4x4 option so if I was to do that how would I activate the four wheel drive? I'm hoping it's just a switch I can Mickey Mouse in or is this something that goes through the computer of the car?

I m considering buying this model but want to make sure it can do what I want to do with it if not what would be a good

Sewing machine for doing upholstery work and sewing leather, I am completely new to the world of sewing machines and considered buying an industrial one because I have a few projects that I want to do myself like boat seats and leather car seats when I pulled up some information it was talking about two needle machines and single needle machines but don t understand if the double needle is just an interchangeable peace with any sewing machine or if it has to be a machine specifically designed for two needles?

I have a 2000 Eddie Bauer Expedition that im restoring and came across some doors and parts from a 2002 wanted to know if this year to year is interchangeable also from what year to what year will parts fit on a 2000

Ok so to start off with I want to convert a 1972 minnie winnie rv with a dodge 318 gas engine and put a Diesel engine one in its place but did not know what kind of diesel would fit in the 318 place I am ok with swapping out the transmission If I have to I just want to know what engine would also be powerful enough to be able to tow a vehicle?

Hello all, I am completely new to welding and cutting with oxy and acetylene I just purchased my first used oxy and acetylene torch set from a pawn shop in phoenix,AZ the oxygen tank had a stamp on it that was for 2013 and was told that it did not have to be recertified for another five years after that date but then later found out when buying tanks that its best to stay away from tanks with lettering around the neck and to especially stay away from ones as a rental or a welding supply name on it ,I saw that the oxygen bottle neck had these letters on it ( 50 lbs.co2 use white safety disc .kidde chg.) I m not trying to sound like a complete idiot but I just ran out of oxygen and want to get a refill on it but don t know if I will have problems when refilling is I was told that some welding supply stores will not refill them for certain reasons and sometimes even keep the tanks I have a receipt from the pawn shop but would rather just take it back to them and get my money back if I will I m going to have any issues oh and if this helps at all its a 3ft tank

I have a work van that I will be using in home and garden shows I want to put 3 32" monitors in the van for display I also want to put in a 12volt cooler that is meant for cars I want the cooler to stay on all night and the 32 inch displays to stay on for a few hrs like 3 to 4 when the van is off,what I want to know is will one alternator be able to recharge all four batteries when the van is running?I know that I need a battery isolator so the main battery doesn't pull power from the other ones all 4 batterys will be connected in series so they power up some power inverters that will connect to the TVs so all 4 will push out 12 volts to 1 or 2 power inverter that will power up all 3 monitors like i said the monitors I want to stay on for 3 to 4 hours so my question is,is 4 batteries enough? do I need to install a second alternator or can one alternator charge all four batteries when the van is on the Tvs will also be on when the van is running so my plan is to have 4 deep cycle batteries connected to an isolator and all 4 be charged with the alternator I really don't want to install a second alternator so my second idea was if it does need a second alternator would I just be able to connect a battery charger to a power inverter that will connect to the main battery and then be able to charge the 4 other batteries when the van is running.so one power inverter will be connected to the main battery that will be connected to the battery charger that will charge all 4 batteries

I need a recommendation for a home audio receiver that can push 120-Watt in ceiling speakers that I have in multiple locations in my home I have a Total of 26 speakers I know im going to need multiple receivers and integrate them together but for example i have 6 speaker in my living room and 4 in the back yard that would be zone 1 then I have 4 in my master bed room and that would be zone 2 in that order.what kind of receivers would I need to be able to Power all 26 speakers at the same time if possible? but also be able to split them in zones like living room,back yard,bed room ext.. if i need more then one to power all of them is there a way I can integrate them together?

I put a reserve on a German Shepherd puppy That I plan on taking to a guard dog training course I'm leaning towards a female but would prefer a male, right now I have a Fixed male 1 year old pitbull my pitbull was fixed at an early age and went through basic and advanced obedience school he was also socialized with other dogs everyday from Day one and raised with two cats and small dogs

But Im still kinda on the wall on getting another male because im not going to keep them separated and don't want them fighting I also have a male dachshund that is not fixed They get along fine and I have Never had any issues.I install security cameras and low voltage equipment in shops and scrap yards 95% of the time its after hrs and a few incidences have happened my fiance is also alone when I'm away and there was a breaking In attempt but the alarm went off.I was planing on getting a German Shepherd for a guard dog and putting him or her to guard dog training, My girl wants a female but wants to fix her I want two know two things if we get a female and get her fixed would that ruin or take away from what I am trying to do? My second question is If I get a male and don't have him altered will I have to keep them separated? or did us doing everything I just mentioned with are pitbull allow me to have a second large unaltered male?.I will be getting him as a puppy and I also exercise my dogs daily.Also I Will not or plan on breeding the German Shepherd Ever.

Ok im installing 4 Tvs in my office I will be using hdmi extenders

For the Tvs Im not trying to get programing for them or movies just put up number stats and video clips but I was wondering can I just do this with one computer or laptop or do I have to get a laptop for every tv?

I just Installd a Tp link internet switch to my office but not all my Pc's are working I tested the each cat5 cable that is connected to the switch with my laptop abd the internet works on my laptop

but not on the pc's so the switch is working but my pc's will not

work when connected to the switch I also have a wifi hub connected to the switch which is working but I cannot seem to get my PC's to work with the switch.is there some thing i need to change on the pc's settings to get it to work?

I have a lot of torrnt movie files and was wondering if there is a program I can use that will organize them in the way where the cover of that particular movie shows and put all of them in alphabetical order,I know there are programs for music files but is there any for video files

I have a 93 Toyota Corolla automatic 1.8 that my dad let me have,he had told me that the transmission was recently worked on before he stoped driving it and the mechanic had to make some adjustments so the car would drive right but it was never done,so now im fixing it and dont really know what adjustments have to be done so the car can drive right.here are the symptoms

The transmission makes a taping sound when the car is on and in park, when im driving it in (Drive) it has hardly any pick up untill it gets to about 40mph or the car is in 1st or 2st gear when the car is on 1st or 2st gear the car takes off normally. I removed the transmission pan and took off the transmission oil filter and saw that the fillter was bent in a little but that was the only thing i saw and I did not remove any thing else, can someone please tell me what to check or adjustment I have to make to get this car going? I changed spark plugs and cables,oil,gas pump and filter

Ok I had posted this question once before but now I have no symptoms when im driving at times i push on the gas and it hesitates and i start to slow down also when im stoped and try to take off it takes off really slow and if i give it to much gas it just doesn't go anywhere,I opened the hood and accelerated the engine it started to hesitate and then i heard the poping coming from the throttle body,it does this all the time but only affter i have been running the car for a while,when i first start it or shut the car off it will run fine for 5 to 10 min but then it starts up again with the same issues,sometimes when it starts doing this i will just floor it and thats when it gets really bad it starts poping and slows way down almost to the point of coming to a complete stop.....if i push on the gas a little by little the truck will slowly start to take off but i have to barly push on the gas and hear the engine to know its starting to speed up....I dont understand why it does this when the truck has been running for a while but when i shut the truck down and start it back up again it will run fine for 5 or 10 min

The truck at one point was sitting for over a year but when I got it I flushed out the entire fluid system and dropped the fuel tank cleaned it completely out replaced the pump and fuel filter, I also put in fuel injector cleaner once on empty and 3 times on a full tank but know that im driving it more I have noticed

That when I push on the Accelerator It starts to Hesitate and it pops like (poppop pop) but it only happens when Im driving around 25 to 30 mph when I pass 30 it runs with no problem to test it out I floored it and it happened right away the RPM went up but the truck was fighting to speed up I also heard a screeching sound coming from the belts But not sure if this was because I was giving a lot of gas and the truck was not going any where or if this might be the main issue,I am not saying i floor my truck or try to race it' but it acts up almost instantaneously with all the symptoms when I do this rpm shots up,Truck pops,No Acceleration until I dramatically ease off the gas and then works fine after I pass 20 or 30 mph.....does any one know what else I can try to fix this issue or what else it could be.I am not a mechanic but know how to fix and replace cretin things, but this one I just cant figure out and running out of ideas

I have a 2001 F250 super duty (Gas) that was rolled on one side but the air bags were not deployed

It had very little body Damage when I got it as is I did not role the truck but bought it and restored it,before I bought it it sat 5 years. Now it runs grate and have completely repaired the body,it had no frame damage at all so i can understand why the airbags were not deployed and all i had to replace was a fender and a door,but the only issue I'm having Now is the horn and alarm don't work I replaced the battery's and checked the RF signal on the remote and it works fine is there a separate fuse on the alarm its self and if so were can i find the alarm module? I have also checked the fusees and all are good so i know its not a fuse the same thing with the airbag,the light blinks and then just stays on I just don't know what else to check what do i check next or what might be the problem?

Ok I'm trading my Ipad 3 and 250 dollars cash for this 5th wheel trailer (I put pictures in the link) I know nothing about them or what to look for like Damage on Important parts or Future problems that I might have with it,or what I should look at on the 5th wheel to make sure that its safe to use,I know that it has a clear title and know to Match title with the vin number,I don't know the brand of the 5th wheel yet but I will ask,Is there any thing else I should ask before trading for it? I only plan on using it just in case one of my cars brake down or a car in my family brakes down but I don't plan on using it to much...I don't use my ipad at all so I think I would get more use out of the trailer,but like I had said I know nothing about them or what to look for,I have an f250 and know it can haul it but hoping to get some info on things I should look at and ask before trading it, and am I getting a good deal on this 5th wheel

I want to put cameras in my car because of an incident I had with a Sheriff Deputy and i dont want this to happen again so i want to know if i can get arrested for recording a police officer if he stops me or sheriff's officer, i live in phoenix Az and i was recently pulled over by Sheriff Deputy he comes to my window and askes for id i ask him why i was pulld over he says ill tell you in a minute i give him my id and he walk back to his car he comes back and askes for my greencard im in aww because i was born here and dont even speak Spanish but i decided to be a smart *** and I tell him all i have is a gold card and my American Express but thats more of a shade green and i say if you look at it in the right light you can call it green and its a card so there u go greencard.....he then calls me a dumb Chicano and i should keep my mouth shut he then askes me that he wants to search my vehicle with a k9 i ask him again why he pulld me over he says i cant see the light in ur license plate i start laughing he then calls me joker and are you going to consent to search I say no because this is a 55,000 dollar car and i do not want any dogs scratching or running around on my suede seats....He walks back to his car and comes back and askes me again if i would let him search my car i tell him no not with out my will your present or your supervisor here...he kept pushing it so then i tell him he would have to get a search warrant and then i tell him look am i free to go or I being detained and can u hurry up and give me the ticket so I can go home...he throws my drivers license at me and walks off i get out of my car and ask him for his name and badge number he tells me to go **** my self i then ask him for a business card he then flips me off...i take out my phone to take a picture he then threatens to pull out his teaser i take a picture of his license plate and try to take a picture of him he then threatens to arrest me and to get in my fancy car that the cartel paid 4

I'm looking to soup up my truck I just got a 2001 5.4 V8 gas f250 it's my first Project truck and I'm wanting to start puting in some Performance parts I'm going to start with Putting in headers and an Exhaust but there are so many options out there....I want to put in a Dual exhaust system that has a. Lower restricting Catalytic converter and that won't make the Engine light come on or if there is a way to not put in cats that will not make the light come on by tricking the CPU,I'm not looking to brake the bank but do not want to put in cheep parts I rather wait a week and buy a good Quality part...also what Other parts can I put in my truck to get Better performance any ideas?

I replaced the battery and alternator on my 2000 Chevy astro but it still wont keep a charge

want to check if its a fuse or a relay but cant find it on the fuse box in the cab or in the engine compartment

OK my 2000 Chevy Astro will not stay on unless it has a full charge but the alternator wont charge it.

when the battery has a full charge and I Disconnect the battery cable the car shuts off so i replaced the alternator with a new! one and still nothing I jump start the van and when i disconnect the jumper cables from the car, I can see the battery meter start dropping and then the van shuts off... when I removed the alternator there was a lose small black cable could this be ground? because i just connected it to the power for the alternator but not sure if that were it goes can some one pleas help me i cant pay a shop for this till payday and this is my work van!!!!
