Someone is trying to sell a car seat that he swears is front and rear facing, it is a carrier and comes with a base that he says the base just turns around and makes the seat face forward. Now I am not going to buy it but I was just curious, is there really one out there? Or is he just putting kids in danger?

I am having my baby tomorrow, but I feel so disconnected from reality. I don't know how long it will take to really sink in that I am GOING TO HAVE A BABY. This pregnancy has FLOWN by, everyone around me is so excited...I feel numb. With my son, the whole pregnancy was amazing, I felt him, felt close to him and we had a bond before he was even here. This time it's so surreal. And we planned for her! Tried to get pregnant, I just don't get why I feel this way. Has anyone ever felt anything close?

I am 38 weeks pregnant, I have diabetes. I was wondering if you keep your blood sugars under control is your chances of having a huge baby still really high. My A1C test came back 5.3 which I am really excited about but will it make a difference??

If I do not sign the consent forms they cannot operate on me correct. I am in a sane state of mind, I have done my research, and I am refusing and I am informed! If they do operate on me with my informed refusal, they can get into real trouble correct?

My dr says at this hospital their policy states NO VBACs and they will not allow me to try. I cannot get to another hospital, they are simply too far and I see my dr once a week. I have MANY reasons to want to attempt a VBAC, being diabetic is a main concern. In any case, I have done a lot of research on this and I know the risks and I know which risks I am willing to take. My main question is if I do not sign the paper for them to do a c-section then they can't..correct? Also could they turn me away for not complying to their rules?

I will not refuse the c-section if my Dr feels that the baby or myself are in real danger. But I have to try to have a natural birth. If things go wrong I will not be stupid, I trust my Dr's opinion. He is behind me 100% on this, but it is the hospital's policy.

Did anyone not find out what the sex of their baby was before they were born? Either by choice or because the baby wouldn't cooperate? What were the pros/cons of this? Did you wait to have a baby shower till after the baby was born?

We have a little girl named picked, Trinity, Our son we have now is Justice, we kinda want to follow that trend. I was hoping maybe someone has a suggestion to help for a boy name. Thanks everyone!!

I have a friend who was almost 500 or so pounds, he was found this morning without a pulse in his bed. He was only 24...the same age I am. I am by no means that large, I am around 280.... but his death has hit me really really hard. I definitially NEED to lose weight, and I don't want my life cut short like his was. I don;t want to leave my child without a parent. I was just wondering if any one of you had personally had any experience with a sinificant weight loss and just how did you get started. Like mentally I am ready, I have absolutely made a decision to change, I just am clueless as to where to go, what actually works....encouragement please....no put downs or judgments. Thank you

This question is NOT intended to be an insult either!! I am genuinly curious. I know Jews still fallow the Old Testament...Not believing that Jesus was the Messiah. I was wondering, because I know according to the old law, there Must be the shedding of blood for sins to be Forgiven...Also NO ONE is perfect. What do they do now? I know before they would take a lamb in and eventually for Passover sacrifice it. Do they still do this? Or what is the alternitive? I can imaging in this day and age, that would be really frowned upon! But if it is your religion, I understand.....But because I never hear of this hapening anymore, I assume it doesn't.

(wierd switch)I am walking across a busy highway...I hear in her voice(but mechanically) Say good bye to nana.....(my mother, my son calls her nana....so it felt like an attack on my son) I ran back to her (in her room again) And say take it back or we will fight....We start fighting and the look in her eyes scares me. I start shaking her (I have ahold of her wrists) Next she is on top of me and just starts vomiting all over my face millions of demons!!
