I'm an Intuitive. Warm, Friendly, Respectful (to all who are equally respectful) and compassionate. I believe in Absolutes: the inseperable difference of Right & Wrong, Good & Evil, etc. I have little to no tolerance for selfish, lustful, arrogant or otherwise immoral people who think, respond and act upon others based solely upon the whims of their 'small brain.' To use the phrase "been there-done that" relates to countless experiences and lessons I have survived and learned throughout many years. I have a genuine Christian concern for people, the reason I visit Yahoo.Answers. I may not please everybody, but then, I'm not in it for popularity. I'm here because I care...about You!

  • what instruments are used in Jeff Beal's theme for "House of Cards"?

My ears detect either tympani or Japanese 'kettle' drums, cellos, a complete string section, bass guitar, and perhaps a synthesizer.

    Am I correct?

  • Does anyone know of someone who trains cats to help deaf people?

My husband's hearing is rapidly deteriorating. He can't even hear the door bell when wearing his hearing aids. We would love to get him a service dog but I have a severe dog saliva allergy; I am even allergic to poodles and hairless dogs.

I was just on SARA, Service Animal Registry of America, and while they do register cats, they don't have anyone listed to train cats, only dogs. If we can't find a cat trainer I may have to try to get desensitized to this one particular dog but every time I am around a dog and my allergy kicks I have trouble breathing for two days even with allergy tablets and asthma medication.

I am putting this under pets even though I know a service animal is NOT a pet because I couldn't find any other topic to put it under.

  • is it possible to rent a house or apartment in Florida without being there?

We are planning on moving to FL permanently, yet, first we need to find & set-up a new place there before giving up the one we have here, in another state. We may be able to visit FL for 1 or 2 weeks to scout the area(s) while staying at a hotel. Although, I think it possible to find and secure a rental online as well.

  • what is the name of this movie?

I just can't recall it even though I've seen it recently. In a large city, a man discovers that he is being followed by a mysterious man. He then tracks his tracker and confronts him. Who, he discovers, is a member of a secret organization of men who plot and control the movements of thousands.

His tracker reports to his superior that he's been compromised, that his 'subject' has taken to alter the 'chosen' path for him.

The 'path' in the film appears as a mutating map where there are two markers. The markers symbolize the 'subject' and the woman he is to meet. Since the 'subject' has taken a diversion, the lines on the map morph, which is what troubles the men.

At the end of the movie, the man is victorious innocuously, Beaten at his own game, his tracker explains: that there never was any harm meant; the 'path' system to him; and that whenever the man sees a stranger wearing certain hat, they are members of his organization.

As the couple begin their lives together, free of being tracked any further, they now notice the Men with the Hats everywhere.

  • HELP! FL I.T.Grad & his Family needs Your Help!?

My Son-in-law is about to graduate from the Dave School of IT in Florida.

They lived in Buffalo, NY. His course work was one year. My daughter moved their family from Buffalo there just to keep the Family together. (that is WAY too long for his wife & children not to see Daddy!)

    First the scenario;

It is my understanding that according to one of the instructors there, most, if not all, graduates are encouraged to apply for internships at computer animation-based businesses in L.A! [seems there is some type of co-league relationship going-on here]. In order to establish something for their resume and job prospects.

Come on !!! He moves 1,000's of miles away from his family to improve his job skills to be able to support his family. She packs-up the family and moves to FL to keep the Family unit solid. Now, as graduation nears, there is the ugly prospect that he may have to relocate to L.A? 3,000 miles further... again?

The STRESS & Financial strain on them (especially my daughter who is working two jobs and trying to be there for her kids & husband) is Too Much!

    Now to my question:

Who, Where, & How can my son-in-law find his 1st job in FL? I [we / they] need referrals, agencies, networks and website tools, etc. Ones that are preferably on or near the East Coast.

We are in CA, our ability to assist & aid them is limited.

Yes, it is heart-wrenching to hear my daughter vent & plea in the wee hours of the evening when she is stretched as thin as gold leaf.

    P L E A S E help us.

I've heard it mentioned repeatedly from consumer agencies, yet they won't publicly state which (for understandable libel lawsuits) so, exactly which popular bottled waters ARE simply, basically bottled Tap Water?

Izit Arrowhead?, Nestle?, Alhambra? CostCo? CVS? Safeway?

  • Is "I've got it" grammatically correct? I know it is used a lot but isn't it really just slang?

I often hear people say "I've got it" and years ago there was an ad "If you've got the time, we've got the beer". Are these correct grammatically correct or just slang? Shouldn't it be "I have it"? I don't care what sounds correct. I would like to know what IS correct. Please cite your reference source. Sorry if my punctuation is incorrect. Thank you for your help.

  • do we have to pay a credit card bill after my Mom's estate settled?

My Mom died two years ago today. When she passed my sister and I made deals with her credit card companies and paid them off. For one of the credit cards my Mom had purchased their credit card insurance plan so that if something happened to her the bill would be written off. We contacted them after she passed. The first time they sent us a letter that there was a 90 day waiting period and so we still had to pay it. When I called them to follow up they told me there was no waiting period and that they would write off the balance. I asked for confirmation and the person on the phone put me on hold and confirmed it with their supervisor. I was not given a reference number, just told not to worry about it. So we went ahead and divided all the assets and settled Her estate.

Now we just got a bill from this credit card company. The statue of limitation for credit card debt in California is four years. I don't know the statute of limitations if it is an estate. Should we just ignore the letter?

  • Need help with football wedding vows for our reception, bride is for 49ers, groom for Raiders?

I am the bride. We are having a small, traditional wedding. During our wedding reception my husband and are doing football wedding vows for fun. It is based on Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham but it doesn't really have to rhyme.

This is what I have so far. Thanks for your help!

    B. Do you promise to love me when the Niners win?

    G. Yes I promise to love you when the Raiders win.

    B. Do you promise to love me when the Raiders lose?

    G. Yes, I promise to love you when the Niners lose.

This is the part I need help with. I have included some football terms which could be used:

In good seasons and in bad,

From preseason through the playoffs and Superbowl.

We promise to love and support our favorite team

In good health and injuries, punts, safeties, off sides kicks

Sacks, quarterbacks, tackles, the challenges of football

Coaches challenges, PAT, YAC, huddle, penalties

Special teams, offense, defense, home games and away.

We promise to be faithful and never stray.

    This is the ending:

So, if you will love me through good and bad

And even when Al Davis gets mad.

And you will have and you will hold,

With the black and silver, the red and gold.

And you promise to love me through all the

    football seasons of life

Then I am enthralled and proud to be your wife.

You may now kiss me, your Bride.

But please do make it dignified.
