I would like to read a sci fi novel like Contact. Something that isn't ridiculous like Hyperion that starts interesting but then introduces the tired vampire bs. And maybe something like i robot that doesn't have some galactic war with space barbarians with overly religious undertones. How about something that was written the last decade or so as not to feel dated. Maybe even forgoing the, earth has been destroyed by overpopulation or nuclear war and has some substance that stimulates the possible not to far fetched imagination! Suggestions?

Hey! I have an HP dv4 notebook pc. It has a AMD turion 2 dual-core mobile m520 2.30 ghz processor with 4.00 gb ram. I am thinking of downloading it on steam and want to know if my computer can play it. I don't know what my video card is or where to find that info. when I open up computer info that is what it gives me. steam tells me the system requirements but I don't know what all that means.

Society sets up your path from birth...First, you go through grades k through 12. Making friends and relationships and generally having adolescent experiences along the way. After graduation you have a couple choices... go to work, where you will find someone, go on a few dates, get married have kids buy a house, raise your kids, cheat or get cheated on....get a divorce, date someone else repeat....or go to college where you where find someone, go on a few dates, get married, get a job, buy a house, raise your kids, cheat or get cheated on...get a divorce, date someone else.. ect...ect..

So basically this is the general life experience people have right? I'm sure some people stay together and faithful but i'm sure it's in the minority...I've worked for a while after high school, got bored, joined the army for a few years, got bored, got my journeyman electrical license worked for a few years, got bored.

Now i'm back at school working at a bachelors degree. I am 30, unwed with no kids, only had two relationships that were short term (6 months or so). All my friends are getting married, having kids, buying a house and I kinda feel like I am getting left behind or missing something, as I feel no need to get in a serious relationship. Does anyone else feel like they are kinda lost? I'm not depressed, Just never satisfied for long...None of my friends know what the hell I am talking about either. They seem satisfied just going through the motions, and I am a little envious of their lack of ambition (not that I am better, just different) or so easily satisfied with just being a parent, or having a relationship.

does anyone else feel lost, restless, out of place not miserable but not necessarily happy or unhappy?

Is this movie about the monster girl wanting to kill that scientist women to have sex with the scientist man? Or is this movie about the monster girl turning on the scientist and everyone around her because she is different, and killing them?

I downloaded KOTOR on utorrent and am now trying to install the game to my computer. Ive downloaded daemon lite tool and winRAR. everything was going fine intill it ask to insert disc two. how do i do that without the disc?

Wouldn't it be better if they asked some close friends, that maybe know what is going on those questions? I wonder if anyone got any really good advice on here.
