I am 22. I am a born-and-raised American; both of my parents were born in America. I now live in the Land of the Long White Cloud.
Can the current political situation be described as an attempt to expand Roman Empire?
I used to believe that war was about oil; then I graduated from that school of thought and realized war was about empire. During World War 2, Nazi Germany was described as the "Third Reich". Considering the fact that the first two "reichs" were the two peak points of Roman empire, and considering the existence of historical conflicts such as the Roman-British wars (which is one example of the use of "proxy" countries--everyone sees Britain [and America, my home country] sending troops around the world and hates these countries instead of the Roman imperialists who have infiltrated them), why doesn't anyone follow the historical chain of power back to the Vatican?
I would never insult someone who is a follower of Jesus, so let me make my understanding clear: the struggle for power in the middle east, southern europe... basically, the world at large. goes back to "religion"... the Jewish/Roman wars (I should insert for anyone who doesn't know that, at least originally, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are all monotheistic, meaning they teach the existence of one God) were fought because the societal implications of realizing the interconnected nature of all existence was not conducive to maintaining a Roman pagan society, where women who got married could legally be murdered by their husbands at any time and the requirements for participation in their brand of "democracy" were stringent at best... anyway, you had one of the most powerful armies on the face of the earth, fighting bands of believers of God in waves... the Christians and the fall of Rome, anyone?? It's pretty obvious that when the Romans couldn't defeat their enemies, the Christians (Jesus was a Jew, remember?) rather than beat 'em, they joined 'em, and created the Roman Catholic Church, which is ritually pagan in nature, and has sort of devolved into a hierarchical system of ritual satan worship, which is coming to a head now with the ritual child molestation and rape charges all over the place... so to counter the believers in God, the only strategy these people appear to have is one of a reflexive counter strategy, where they struggle to maintain separation of culture/proliferation of certain moral ideology (like the prohibition of interest in banking, which everyone should now be able to admit would save us all) by promoting materialism and violence and casual sex to counter people more inclined to live humbly and refrain from supporting lifestyles or companies that are willing to f*** over humanity at large just to maintain themselves.
Is it just me, or does it look like we're in for WW3 right quick yo
I'm thinking they're going to use Israel (which I see as a really convenient way to round up the rest of the Jews that they didn't succeed in killing during WW2) to launch a weapon against Iran. Then all the Muslims won't take very long to kill the Jews, who make up like 0.2% of the world's population or something... then the world can say, Hey Look, the Muslims are the new Nazis! Let's get 'em all!!!!!! Roman pagan strategic aims, anyone??
Don't make yourselves look like idiots if you're going to respond to my question; please have some sort of substance rather than empty opposition. Thanks for reading, not everyone does :D
10 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhy is it that people aren't willing to question the media?
Simple question--kinda. I guess I would also like to know why people aren't willing to entertain a broader range of possibilities before coming to their conclusions; rather, they kinda "shut it off" at the possibility that is easiest to accept. Why, why, why?
Yeah, I know this could go a lot of places. I'm open to that.
