Enraging Chaos

I changed the locks on my front door and now the second screw, bottom screw on the padlock park of the door on the inside of it won't stay in, leaving it with only the top screw in there to hold it in place. Is there a way to refill the door with something to then screw the screw back in the door and it stay in place?

I recently got a male and female kitten about 8 weeks old right now. My existing female cat is about 2 years old and she is warming up to them but now she will run at them at attack them! Pawing them and running away! She's not playing, she's being mean. Should I do something about this or do anything to prevent this? I'm just worried that my adult cat feels that she is getting replaced or something with these two new kittens.

Any suggestions/comments at all?

She used to growl at them, now she just runs and attacks!

So I have a 29 gallon aquarium currently with 6 zebra Danios and 3 Cherry Barbs for cycling purposes.

I was just wanting to get input/ideas/suggestions on different stocking options.

I'm running Windows XP 64 bit.

Does having a 1GB stick and a 512MB stick of memory in a laptop make the dual channel memory sticks one channel or is it still as fast and running at dual channel?

While playing Counter Strike: Source my mic will go out after a few maps all at once. Nothing causes this. Sometimes the mic is fine sometimes it goes out. If I restart or mess around with the SoundMAX program that is installed to control it, it will enable the mic again.

When it messes up it's always very loud or something weird like that.

Is this because it's 3.5mm or is it the SoundMAX application or what?

Why do my applications sometimes freeze when my cpu isn't under a full load and my RAM isn't maxed out? Does it have something to do with it being a 64-Bit operating system? (Windows XP)

I built my computer, it has a i7 920 processor and 6GB of RAM. It runs fine most of the time, just when multitasking. I would assume there would be many different things that could be wrong, could anyone throw some ideas my way?

When I'm going 55-60 and just noticed today 61-62mph I notice that my RPM surges by 100 RPM. It'll be around 2,100 and then surge up to 2,200. The A/C is on while it does this. I have turned the A/C off and it will still do it a little bit but it seems like if I don't turn the A/C on it wont do it at all. It's pretty predictable in that if I stay a constant speed at 55-60mph it will surge 100 RPM.

What could be the causes? The car was wrecked and is damaged in the back passenger side pretty bad. So if it's an engine issue where it's slowly going to get worse then I might try to find another car. I'm not spending $1,000 or more on this car. It's too beat up with rust starting to slowly eat at it, now after the wreck.

Model is maxed at 2GB. I just exchanged out my second stick of RAM because the last two had issues. The new stick is installed and in my computer I'm only seeing 800 something MB of memory. What am I doing wrong?

DDR2 533MHz memory. It recognizes a 1GB and 512MB stick just fine. But not 2GB. My BIOS doesn't have any settings to go in there and do anything with the memory, either. It's all automatically detected.

So I installed two 1GB sticks and in My Computer it's showing just the 1GB stick. I try the factory memory stick that came in the computer with one of the GB sticks and it shows up as 1 1/2 GB like it should. Just one of the sticks seems bad. But I just exchanged the other stick out because I bought a stick and my laptop wouldn't boot up with just that stick in the laptop. Same goes for this one but it's not recognizing it. With the old stick if I put both sticks in, it would recognize it, just produce errors in Memtest.

What's the problem?

So I had 512MB of memory on my laptop. I upgraded and put a 1GB stick in and had the 512MB in there as well. I then found out that with it being dual channel I needed to get another of the 1GB stick so that it would be dual channel and not single channel and would be faster. I have ran memtest with both sticks in and gotten that it doesn't store data correctly but each stick with the 512MB stick I don't get any errors. I've tried booting with the new stick and nothing while the old stick works just fine and no errors when booting up with just it in the slot.

What is the problem?

I have a A105-S2101 that is maxed at 2GB.

I just wanted to upgrade it because I have a gaming computer and the laptop is just a computer I use for work. I want to be able to use both 1GB sticks, why does it produce errors?

So I moved into an apartment that has an indoor stairway. I have a cat that I'm afraid to leave out in my apartment while I'm gone because I'm afraid that one day she'll be at the door and somehow get past me and get outside. If that were to happen, I'm near a road and there would be no way of catching her.

I'm posting two pictures of the stairs. Is there anything I can get that would keep her out of the stairway so I would never have to worry about that and could leave her out instead of in a cage while I'm gone to work?

So do I need to unplug the power strip to conserve energy or just turn it off?

If I just switch it off will it not draw any power? I have an Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii hooked up to it and they draw power while not turned on much like a phone charger and I was wanting to see if I turning the switch to off would stop it or would the power strip still draw a little power from the outlet in which case I would need to unplug it from the wall.

So I was told that if I didn't have two of the same RAM in my laptop that it would bring it down to single channel instead of dual channel. I upgraded and put in a GB of memory and had 512MB in there to begin with.

So I have a Toshiba laptop with DDR2 533Mhz

Should I get another GB stick? Only a 512Mb upgrade but if I'm currently only running on single channel because of my setup then I want to get another GB and replace the 512Mb stick.

What command is it for Call of Duty: World At War or do you just have the "Lagometer?"

So I have just built a $1200 computer...

i7 920 Processor, 6GB of RAM, and etc.

So sometimes I get a little freezing up and locking up and will look to the task bar and see that only 5% of my cpu is being used and maybe a gb or two.

So is the fact that it is 64 bit and maybe the programs running have coding issues and freeze up due to this?

Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

I just don't understand how this monster of a computer is locking up. I figure it's just the programs. No programs to be specific...does it at random. I don't think it's done it with programs that are 64 bit specific, though.

So I am playing an MKV file and when I play it with Windows Media Player 11 it shows subtitles. When I play the same file with DivX it doesn't show the subtitles.

I was wondering if there was some setting where I could remove the subtitles and use Windows Media Player to watch the file. It's just one file, no .srt file is in the folder.
