I believe that there is a creator, whom I call God, because nothing creates nothing. So there had to be a creator to start the whole event, thats just logical. Why can't the 7 days of creation be the table of contents of the book and evolution be the meat of each chapter to describe how God created everything?

Why can't religion and science come together? Are we so narrow sighted as Christians that we forget that the original sin was when Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge? God has given us the ability to think, reason, ask why and think logically. So science gives the ability to explain how God did what is explained in Genisis.

In todays economic times, it just seems convient to me. Is this even a topic that women could wrap their minds around? There is couple successful tv shows out there about the polygamy lifestyle, Big Love and Sister Wives. There must be women that watch the show for it to be so popular. Do they wonder about it?

My wife has stopped breast feeding and her breast have dried up. I miss her milk laden breast and drinking from them.

Background: I work in the oilfield on a 14 day on and 14 day off schedule. I handle the checking, savings, bill pay and investsments online. We have 3 kids. My wife, who is a certified teacher and now a stay at home mom, is not really computer inclined. We have a joint checking acct.

All I ask is that she keep up a register of transactions and every few days go online to the checking acct and keep track of what's gone thru the checking acct and what hasn't. I have a budget set up with decent allowance for her and the kids. My problems is that she just won't do what I ask and it repeatedly causes us to bounce checks or have to borrow money from family because she will go buy stuff she needs without knowing what we have in the checking acct. This is irking me badly and I'm so sick of having the same conversation with her. I'm tired of fighting with her about it. I'm tired of the crying and the back and forth. We've read Dave Ramsey, I've set down with her and showed her exactly how to use the checking acct online and quicken. I have a spreadsheet for her to know what bills are coming out on each payday.

This is really causing a rift between us. What more can I do to get thru to her? I'm at the point of getting my own checking acct and setting up direct deposit and bill pay off the new acct with the old acct getting her allowance/food budget. I don't really want to do that to her, but the trust issue is really getting damaged.

Obama and Sec of Interior Salazar put a 6 month drilling ban on deep water drilling, a federal judge overturned the ban and then Obama and Salazar lost on appeal. Now they have come back and placed a new drilling ban on any drilling rig that floats for another 6 months. I'm sure that will also be contested in the courts.

Already one deep water rig is leaving the gulf and more will definitely be following it. Thousands of jobs will be lost, businesses will have to close their doors and the economy which is already in trouble will take a big hit. People are crying for jobs all over america and the administration cause thousands more jobs to be lost. The drilling industry has drilled thousands of wells all over the world in deep water and we have this one blowout and they have to totally shut down drilling in deep water.

Does anyone care about the people that will be affected by the drilling ban? Or, are people and media more concerned about birds and fish than they are people and their families? I realize that there are people that are out of work due to the spill along the gulf coast and I feel for them. But why do we make it worse by putting thousands more out of work. I thought the administration was for creating jobs.

I work in the oil and gas industry myself so I have an understanding of what BP and the experts are up against. I don't envy what they are going through. Setting the environmental disaster and the clean up aside for a moment, my question is directed at getting the well under control and the perception that people have of that task. With 2000 pounds per square inch pressure at the sea floor and the pressure that is pushing the oil out of the formation and up through the well head, do people understand that? I understand that BP and the industry experts have major concerns about the integrity of the well bore or formation where the oil is coming from. Do people understand that if they simply just shut off the flow some how without getting the well under control that you could have an under ground blowout? With an under ground blowout you would have oil coming up from different places on the sea floor surrounding the well head. Then you could only rely on the relief wells currently being drilled. Personnally I think that the industry has to do a better job of explaining the difficulties they are facing.

When you see that pic on Yahoo home page for Netflix of Megan Fox, from Transformers, with her back against the wall and her chest jutting out like it does, what is your initial reaction to it? I already know what all you guys are gonna say so give the ladies a chance here.

As in politics, which polarizes people to be either democrat or republican, so does the question of creation or evolution. Is it possible that the 7 days of creation are actually the Table of Contents to the book of existence and Evolution is the meat of each chapter to explain how God achieved his work? The bible says that one day to us is like thousands of years to God. I am a Christian and proud of that. I just happen to believe that science in all its glory is God's way of explaining to us how he meant things to be.
