Ok so my school has you sign up for classes. There are three classes of which you are required to take at least one, and they are resistance training, dance, and 5 K training. I was super pumped to do resistance training until my friend told me it was all push ups and curl ups. I switched around which classes I wanted to do first, to avoid resistance training. Then after I passed it in I relized dance was the closest required class I put to the top!! My teachers said absolutely NO changing classes, and I cannot dance at all!!! All the popular girls are taking dance and I'm going to mess up and they'll ruin my life socially :( also i would have to perform a dance I created alone, and I'm PETREFIED of doing anything alone, let alone dancing!! Once I threw up because I had to read a paper to my class! I'm even considering "accidentaly" breaking my arm or leg just to get out of it! :( please help any advice on what I can do? I cant acne at all... I look like a blind walrus when I do :(

I'll just start by saying Im ugly. Don't say "beauty is in the eye of the beholder!" and that stuff because you only say that stuff to make ugly people feel better about themselves. I'll describe myself: I ALWAYS have dark circles under my eyes, whether I sleep or not. I've tried all concealers, nothing works! My nose is big and ugly. I can't get a nose job, it screws up your face. I'm so short! I'm only 4'10, I look like I'm 12! When I'm out with my friends, no one ever takes a second glance at me. I look like a child! My hair... Ugh. I have curly hair. Not like Disney-

Movie beautiful curly overflowing hair, but poop- colored, frizzy, I-just-stuck-my-finger-in-a-light-socket hair. It's so frizzy I can't even put it in a pony tail, because there's so many little "frizzies" as I call them, sticking straight up. I use garnier fructis "dry damaged hair" shampoo, conditioner, and even the leave in conditioner once a week. (I wash my hair with regular shampoo and conditioner every other day, but I shower every day so I'm not disgusting or anything lol) I also use their anti frizz syrum and the stuff that protects your hair when you straighten it. Why don't these products work on me!? Also my hair NEVER grows. I have no idea why! Also all my clothes are unstylish and little kiddish. I can't afford a new wardrobe, what do I do!? Any advice on my dark circles or hair (PLEASE help with my hair! How do I get Victoria justice hair!? Please!!) I basically want to know how to turn my life around from last year. I want to be trendy, stylish, and fashionable like everyone else. Any advice? Anything is appreciated!

I love my mom so much, but she just despises me with a passion! I don't know why! I'm a teenager, so I'll admit I can be a bit snappy, but do I really deserve this? I can honestly say she has caused me more tears and pain than happiness. She calls me names, ranging from the b word to stupid and idiot, it hurts so much! I am the oldest. She loves my little sister. She is the sun in my mothers life. She is a lying, stealing, ungrateful little thing. She has hacked into countless accounts of mine, goes out of her way to make my life miserable, and makes me take the blame for everything she does! (my sister, not my mom) she blackmails me and ugh.. I ant even talk about her. But around everyone else, she's a little angel! My mother refuses to see who she really is! My mom hits me and yells at me if I slip up. I get good grades, but she tosses that aside and always finds a way for what I do to look disappointing. She complains to my grandparents and aunts and uncles about me, so they have all turned on me too. She lies about me to them to get the on her side. My dad knows what she does but always takes her side. She's so nice around my friends ao they all think I'm lying! I only have 2 friends left and they don't believe me about her or my sister! Today we got in an argument because my sister lied that I hit her, so my mom trapped me in our living room (she wouldn't let me leave) and yelled at me screaming that she hates me and hit me. I honestly hate my life so much! I hav OCD and ADHD and anxiety but she refuses to let me go to my therapist because she tinks I'm lying, even though I've even tested for ADHD and OCD and the test came back that I have them! I also have panic attacks. I can't sleep at night and I'm falling asleep in school and getting yelled at, I tried talking to a counselor at my school but my mom called to say I was lying and how terrible I am to her so none of them believe me. I'm sitting in my room sobbing as I type this, its pathetic but I fee so empty inside and I need someone to know the truth. I want to run away so bad because I ant move out for another few years, does anyone have tips on running away? How can I deal with my mom for 4 more years?

Sorry I'm just warning you this is going to be long. Well I'll start off by saying I have athsma, ADD, OCD, anxiety, and depression. Fun! Lol I'm not looking for pity, just advice. Well I get anxiety about EVERYTHING. I am worried to get colon cancer because of my bad diet, I have begun to change into a fiber rich diet though. I'm afraid of any kind of cancer, really. Also I have a hamster and I constantly assume he is sick! Even when he's fine! I have frequent panic attacks and I break down pretty easily. Also I get really constipated(ever since I was little) and I only go number 2 once a week (my doctor is helping me) so I'm petrefied I will get colon cancer from this! How can I help my anxiety? Anxiety and depression are not a fun mix. I get nervous and then I become depressed and wonder why I even bother, what is life worth? I'm just going to die another person. I am getting help for both of these things, but sycologists can't help me 24/7! I would NEVER try to harm myself, or do drugs or use alcohol. I have never felt so depressed I am suicidal, also suicide is a sin and I wouldn't disobey god. Sometimes I feel so hopeless I just sit and cry for hours! (again, looking for help not pity, so no 'oh you poor soul!' type answers!) I don't have a good relationship with my mother, we yell at each other a lot. We make up sometimes, but it just starts over. I do love her though. I love my father, he just really doesn't understand me. I tried talking to him about it, but he always assumes he's right. When ever I ask for help, he usually says either 1: take a nice warm shower or 2: I'll call your sycologist if you want!

I don't want to bother my doctor every time I feel sad so that's kind of out, and showers don't solve anything really! He's means well, but still. I do have friends, their the best! We go out a lot and have lots of fun together! When I'm with my friends or my cousins I am always happy. My cousins are my favorite in the world. I just love them to bits. They are all under 5, and I have over 30! (my dad has 7 siblings and my mom has 5) oh yea I also have horrible allergies all year and sometimes people call me Kleenex and stuff like that because my pockets are always stuffed with Kleenex, but my friends stand up for me and I don't mind because names can't hurt me! Also I take melatonin to sleep because I don't sleep much due to anxiety. My aunt and I are like the same person with all our OCD and add all that stuff I swear she's like me in 20 years, we both love crafts and the same foods and I admire her a lot but she had her Gaul bladder (sp?) taken out and trouble giving birth and I'm afraid that will happen to me! I love kids and I want 3! I would have to have problems like that! :( sorry this question is all over the place, it's not even really a question I just wanted to get this out of me, it's been balled up in there for a long, long time. If anyone has advice for my bad anxiety it would help or if they reccomend any medication, but I already take melatonin, Zyrtec, eye drops, add medicine, OCD medicine, and I don't take any depression meds but I HATE meds their just drugs and I will never do drugs or smoke, so yea. Lol. I'm sorry this is so long! So if you have any advice or if your going through anything similar comments would be appreciated :) oh yes I'm only 13 and 4'10 (am I legally a 'little person'? Just wondering lol) if that makes a diff. Thanks again!

I have a 3 month old Syrian long haired male hamster. Lately I have noticed some changes in him. He is much less active (yes, I know they are nocturnal. Even in the night he mostly sleeps.) he runs on his wheel just for a little bit. He hasn't been chewing on his cheesy chews, his favorite things in the world. He hasn't been eating much, and the only thing I've seen him eat for 2 days is the dash of oatmeal I put in his bowl to prevent wet tail. The rest of his food sits untouched in his bowl. He has been drinking. He has no wetness on his bottom. Even now I put him in his ball and instead of running like he usually does he is walking and every so often stopping to groom. While grooming yesterday he sneezed twice. This has never happned before. One right after the other, and nothing since. Is this normal? He isn't the active normal Theodore I love :( he has been acting really tame too, and he normally isn't. He doesn't run away when I pick him up! :( is he ok? I don't know if I can afford a vet! :( he's only 3 months! Is he sick, or do hamsters normally start slowing down at this age? This had been going on for 3 days.

Ever since I was a kid everything had to be even. Odd numbers made me cringe. If there was something on one side, the same thing had to happen to the other. When I was bored I played this game where there was two lines and you add one on each side and it never ends because then I would feel like one side has more and I can't stand that. I have ADHD if that helps. I get really paranoid too. Also I have the same routine every day and I love back to school sopping because it is organized and clean. I also have a strange obsession with office supplies and pens (yes, I'm strange) because I love feeling organized. My room gets messy a lot but then I'll go on a crazy cleaning spree and I cannot stop until everything is spotless. I hate feeling disorganized. If something is out of place I cringe. I love when things are perfectly even and balanced. For example: if on one side of my bed there is a dog toy(random lol) there HAS to be one on the other side or I'll toss and turn all night just thinking about how un even it is. Haha this makes me sound like a freak! My friends even noticed my love for even numbers and office supplies. Lol. Do I have some miniature less drastic form of OCD? I'm only 13 also. Lol. If its not OCD what could it be? Or is this just normal? Thanks everyone!

It's 1:30 right now and I just woke up. My heart is beating super fast and I just want to cry and I feel sick. I keep thinking my hamster is going to die and my friends secretly hate me and my grandparents are going to die and all this terrible stuff! Someone please help me I feel sick and like no one is there for me and I'm all alone. Please help I'm curled up in a ball sobbing my eyes out while I write this on my iPad and I can't calm myself down. I can't do anything really because I'll wake up everyone in my house please help how can I feel better anyone!?

My parents said I could get a pet, and I can't decide between a rabbit or a guinea pig. I want a pet that's not too expensive or smelly, but enjoys human interaction. I only have one other pet, which is a hamster. He's about 6 months old. Is a hamster and another pet too much for one girl? I'm at school from 7:00-2:30. I would get 2 female guinea pigs or a rabbit (I don't care if the bunny is a girl or boy) so when telling me the costs make sure you note it's two guinea pigs. I would keep either pet in a c&c cage, and obviously the rabbit would need a bigger one. Space isn't a problem. Listing pros and cons would be nice. I want a bunny more, but a rabbit and a hamster seems like a lot, and I'm only 13. Any advice? Thanks!

My hamster has been acting super hyperactive for the past few hours. He'll run on his wheel for like 3 seconds, run up to his second level, chew on the bars like there's no tomorow, run back down, then run back up to check if he has any more food. I opened the door to is cage, and when he normally hates being handled, he eagerly crawled into my hands! He never does this! He's about 4 months old and I've had him for over 2 months. It isn't too hot or too cold, and nothing in his cage has changed. I am working on I'm not biting the bars, I tap him lightly on the nose when he does it. But Is something wrong with him, or am I overreacting?

I have wanted guinea pigs for a long, long time. As a last resort I would get them from a pet store but I would really prefer to adopt. I am looking for 2 female guinea pigs. If anyone knows a good shelter with guinea pigs or has guinea pigs for sale in Massachusetts please tell me! I have searched petfinder, Craigslist, and many other websites so please let me know. I will take great care of them and keep them in a c&c cage with plenty of hay, fresh foods, and pellets. I also know guinea pigs cannot go in hamster balls or wheels because it arches their spine unnaturally, so it is clear I will take proper care of them. Thanks to everyone who replies!

Ok so when I brush my teeth and I go to spit, there's always a litle blood in my spit! Once I coughed and some blood came out, but it wasnt blood, it was like blood mixed with spit. That happned only once, a while ago. This doesn't happen every time. I never really cough. I have really bad allergies and pretty frequent nosebleeds in the summer, does this have anything to do with it? When I was a kid I haed flossing because I hated the way it felt in your mouth(yes, I was a messed up kid) so my gums are really weak. Could I have a gum disease? Yes I'm going to the doctor tomorrow I Just want to have a little knowledge on the situation. Please help I'm only 13 so I don't smoke or drink or do drugs or anything please help what could this be?? Also it's bright red and ONLY happens after brushing teeth. I also have athsma. Does anyone have an idea or how to fix it? Please helpful answers only I already know to go to the doctor and stuff. Thanks!

I can't decide if I want a parakeet or a guinea pig. I have cared for both for my friends, and they are both adorable and fun! I know the basics on each, like how much food, bedding, proper care, etc. but I have a few questions. How much does each cost including the bedding, cage, etc? If I got a guinea pig, I would get two females and keep them in a c&c cage with fleece. C&c cages are $25-50, so count that as the price for a cage. What is the monthly cost for each? Should I get two parakeets or one? Would you recommend clipping the wings? I'm at school from 7:00-2:30, would pets be ok with those times? Finally, do you think a 13 year old can take care of all these pets? I have a hamster, so does a hamster + two guinea pigs or a hamster + a parakeet sound like too much? Sorry for all the questions!

I have wanted a dog ever since I was little. My first real word was "doggy" and I know EVERYTHING you could wonder about dogs. My dad wants a dog too, because he had many dogs as a child and his dogs were his best friends. I have never had any pet but a fish and a hamster. My siblings and I all had fish a long time ago, and they lived longer than most. One even almost got to 5, even though the life

span was 2-3 years! My hamster is also very well taken care of, and I love him more than anything.

The issue is he sleeps all day so I have to play with him at night, and I would love a dog to keep me

company during the day. My parents constantly bug me to get out of the house, but my friends are

constantly on vacation and whatever, so I can't be out of the house everyday. With a dog I could walk it, take it to the dog park, play ball with it, etc. I even offered to pay for it completely, vet bills and all!

These are my dads issues with a dog: we also go on vacation a lot, so where would we keep it? (there are plenty of dog places near us, so it really isn't an issue, I don't know why he keeps bringing it up),

the cost for a dog(I offered to pay), that I couldn't handle the responsibility(I would walk it after school,

take it out to "do buisness", play with it every day, change its food/water, and train it), and that I is

unfair to keep a dog alone all day while everyone is out. This is the only issue. My ideas were to a)

keep it in our front hall, which is fairly large, with baby gates covering the exits. We would put puppy

pads, beds, tos, food, and water there. It would be completely safe. b) keep it out on our deck, which is even bigger than out front hall. This would only be on nice days, obviously. We would tie a lead(long

collar) to one of the deck posts and put puppy pads, beds, covered houses for shade, toys etc. do

these sound ok for a dog alone for 6 hours? My mom would be home, but heres the issue: she wants

nothing to do with a dog. At all. My dad has begged her, but she still says no. But every time I get a

pet, she loves it to death. For example, it took me 7 years to convince my parents to get a hamster. My mom said she would "get stuck with the responsibility". Now that I have him, she makes excuses to

care for him. For example, she makes up nicknames for him and once I came home from school to find her playing with him. She denies all of this. Sometimes I just feel like she enjoys saying no to me. Her only issue is she's convinced she will have to care for it while I'm in school! No one tell me to work at a shelter, I already do and it makes me want a dog even more. I am also allergic to cats so don't suggest them. I really only want a dog. We would get it from a shelter. I want a dog so bad whenever I think about it I cry and get this feeling like I swallowed a potatoe or something. Please help me! How can I convince parents, specifically my mom? And epwhich is better for a dog, a front hall or deck? Wold it be ok for 6-7 hours, tops, alone? Also, what dog is best for our family? The youngest is 8 and I am 13. It gets extremely hot/cold here and a dog with short hair that isn't protective and can learn tricks is good. Sorry this is so long, I just need a dog so bad it really hurts me! We also wouldn't rush into it, we would give the dog the time and care it needs and do anything it wants, my dads dogs all lived super long. Please help me!

I need surgery to remove a bone growth in my hand, and I am absolutely petrified! I'm only 13 and I cannot stop shaking, and when I think about it I want to cry and I feel sick. I know I'm over reacting, it's just that something going wrong and everything really get to me. I don't care what the surgeon says, I am getting anesthesia, but what if I wake up in the middle of it? Will I feel anything? Does anyone have a surgery experience that will make me feel better? There are so many things I'm worried about, I can't sleep, I have no appetite, and I feel so hopeless! Please help I'm so scared!

I need some good YouTube usernames. I like any bright color, but my favorites are pink, green, and blue. I have one pet, a hamster named Theodore. My favorite numbers are 10,4, and 6 but I would prefer one without numbers. My favorite animals include fireflies, any rodents, fur seals, tigers, pandas, and wolfs. I recently got a Syrian hamster, a male. I got him yesterday. I did many months of research, and learned as much as I could. I love my hamster, but I am terrefied I will do something wrong or he will get sick! First of all, some of his feces were dark greenish and mushy, and I heard blueberries can do that (which I did give him) his bottom was all clean and he was grooming and exercising as usual, that was the only difference. Also, he sleeps A LOT. he sleeps in his tube in his cage or his little hut mostly, but sometimes right on the floor of the cage! He sleeps all day, literally! Also, He'll be rummaging around, and then just stop and relax like he's asleep mid walk. I poked him like that once, and he jumped up on his back bearing his teeth, a defense position. He just kind of freezes. It looks like he's dead, but you can see him breathing. It scares me! I give him one tablespoon of food a day, is that too much? I give him fresh water, but the amount he drinks is barely a centimeter less than when it is full. Why isn't he drinking much? I give him either a baby carrot, slice of cucumber, celery, or apple(no seeds) everyday, plus a few little treats like Cheerios or a weekly yogurt drop. It's a big switch from his plain petstore pellets, so could this cause the greenish feces? Is he stressed? He loves his wheel and is running on it right now, so he is very active. I havent put him in a ball yet because I wanted to let him settle in a few days. Also, he was rummaging around in his litter box this morning. The litter I use is superpet small animal potty litter, is this safe? Was he looking for feces? I know hamsters make two kinds of feces, the ones they eat again for nutrients and the regular ones. Was he eating litter or looking for the feces with nutrients? I also use carefresh colors bedding. This is safe, right? Also I did not take him to the vet after purchasing him, this should be ok right? He cleans himself very often and has a nice coat. His eyes and nose are clear and fine. Should I be concerned, or am I just paranoid as he is my firt pet other than a fish? Sorry this is long, I just love my hamster and want to make sure he is doing fine!
