Is it going to be free or paid ? Are they going to bring the start menu back?

what are the other new features?

I am using windows 8, i like the speed i am getting which i know is due to partial hibernation . But that new start menu is really clumsy, i find it useless on my non-touch laptop. Also, my graphics score has went down to 3.2 which was 3.4 in windows 7 while others are same, it that due to the fact that i am using windows 7 gma driver??( i didn't find win8 driver) is it safe to use windows 8 with my vostro 1014?

Well , i have a Dell vostro 1014 laptop , Core 2 Duo 2.1 Ghz , 2 GB Ram.

i am currently using windows 7 64 bit along with ubuntu 64 bit.

it is said that if you want to get best out of a 64 bit OS , you must have at least 4GB of RAM .

with 2GB of RAM windows 7 64 bit feels slightly better than 32 bit , i can feel the increase in responsiveness of the system while i do multi-tasking. but ubuntu 64 bit feels a little slow.

So, if i add 2GB RAM will there be any real gain in the performance and why??

i passed CBSE boards 2012 with 74% marks . According to new rule Top 20 percentile students will be able to appear for IIT-JEE , according to estimates minimum 78% marks are needed . Is it applicable to 2013 board results only or earlier ?

Am i discarded from this oppurtunity?

i have windows 95 floppy images extension (.ima) , but i neither have floppy drive or such thing . is there any way so that i can install windows 95 from my pendrive using these images . they are working fine with virtual pc ,is there any way to make my pendrive behave as floppy.

CAN i boot from virtual hard disk partition in which windows 95 is installed by virtual pc ?

i am currently using ubuntu 11.10 which has disappointed me a lot , i earlier used 10.10 which seemed better and more customizable. will there be any advantage of mint 12 over ubuntu 11.10.

is it worth waiting for ubuntu 12.04 ?

plz tell the coding.. or do i need a different compiler

also , what kind of photograph is required whether B/W or colour ?
