  • Why did you decide to have children?

This question is for those who purposely decided to start a family. Why did you decide to have children? What was your reason? Other than people just saying that they want kids, I'm trying to find out if people have other reasons.

  • What is the term used for a free cup of water that you get when you go through the drivethru of McDonald's?

I know what the term is, but apparently no one else that I know of has ever heard of it before. And I've been through many drivethru's for McDonalds in which they have used the term. I just need to prove to others that I am not making the "term" up.

  • Is it strange to call and tell your boyfriend's father Happy Father's Day?

I was talking with my boyfriend and I told him that I was going to call his father and tell him Happy Father's Day. He told me not too because it's weird because he's not my father. I told him that it didn't matter and that I think that its okay to do so. He told me that I should ask yahoo and see what other people think. Mind you, I do know his family fairly well as we have spent numerous ocassions together.

  • Are you satisfied with your life?

I am currently going through a 1/3 life crisis which usually happens around my birthday. I am very thankful for everything and everyone that I have in my life. But I am frustrated with so many things. I know that my situation could always be worse and that there are others that do have it worse than me.

  • How do you knit from one row to another evenly?

I have decided that I want to learn to knit and 1 day ago I purchased some bamboo needles and thread. Though the magic of youtube videos I have learned how to cast on stitches (I think that's what it's called) and I have somewhat managed to create a row. My problem however is that as I make my first row I end up with these long pieces of yarn when I'm trying to get the yarn off of the left needle onto the right needle. I'm trying to keep the year close to the top of the needle so that I'm not pulling so much but I keep ending up with these long pieces. I know that it take practice, but I need to know if there are any tips to avoid this. Before I was doing it too tight and couldn't even get the needle between the yarn to even pull it off. I need some suggestions or tips. Thanks in advance.

In movies such as A Chorus Line and Black Swan there are scenes where there are lots of mirrors. How are scenes captured with showing someone looking in a mirror head on without the camera being seen in the reflection.

  • Has anyone ever used a NuWave Oven?

I'm just curious as to how well the NuWAve Oven works, every time my boyfriend sees the infomercial he mentions that he would like to have one. I have seen them in the stores, but to me they look small. According to the infomercial you can put a turkey in it. I don't think so. So, if you have one, I would just like to know the good and the bad about it.

  • Is it too much to ask a significant other to purchase personal items for you?

So, I was in a situation where I needed my other half to run to the store (a store, any place,), preferably next door to the gas station to get me some personal items for "that time of the month". My boyfriend was in the kitchen making his plate of food and I kindly asked "Can you please, please, go next door to the gas station and get some pads for me?" There was a pause, but he responded with okay". He then continued to make his plate of food. I then said, can you please go now while I hop into the shower, he then said "Well, not now... later". I thought to myself, later? Is my body just going to stop because you're going to go later? At this point I got dressed went right next door and returned with what I needed. I didn't speak to him at all the rest of the night and I went to sleep. Now, don't get me wrong, I can understand that maybe he felt too embarrassed to do such, however, if that was the case I would have preferred that he just state that he would not be able too. Because the way that it came across to me was that...I don't really want to go, but because you asked I will, but you'll just have to wait, because I'm getting ready to eat.

  • What do you think of people who hoard?

I'm watching the television show Hoarding: Buried Alive on the TLC channel and I find the whole hoarding phenomenon quite interesting. I myself can't imagine living in the conditions that many of the individuals are living in, as I am not attached to material possessions. I think that for some people it is an illness and for others they are possibly too lazy to clean things up or just overwhelmed because they have accumulated so many things.

  • What products do you use to combat your allergies?

I have the worst allergies, all year round I am combating sneezing, itchy eyes, throat irritation and congestion. It's too the point now where I can't sleep throughout the night without waking up. Either my nose it running or I am congested and I can't breathe. The allergies also cause my asthma to flair up, this upcoming summer seems like it's going to be the worst as I am already suffering. It seems like no matter what I do I just can't go a day without incident. So, I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions. I usually take Zyrtec which works fairly decent, it doesn't work as well as it did when I first started to use it a few years ago. However, I haven't purchased it recently because it is a little more expensive than it use to be when I got it by prescription and now it's sold in stores. I purchased an off brand, which doesn't do much, so I am going to go back to using Zyrtec. I did try claritan once before and my system laughed at the product, it did nothing. Today I bought some breathe right strips which I am going to try tonight for the first time. So, does anyone have any suggestions, products that you've tried before ,or home remedies, I would appreciate it.

  • Would and Barbie and Ken themed wedding be a good idea?

So, my coworker is getting married this upcoming Saturday and my boyfriend and I were talking about it. So, we then started talking about wedding themes, he stated that a Barbie and Ken wedding would be a good idea. I told him that a Barbie and Ken themed wedding would not work because you can't really be Barbie and Ken. He said that you could dress like them. I disagreed because there is no one distinct look they have. You can't just put on a wedding dress and tux and say that you're Barbie and Ken. But on the other hand if you had Barbie and Ken decorations then that would be a little different.

  • How do you get rid of or kill thorn bushes?

In my backyard along the perimeter of the property there is a fence, in our neighbors yard there are those thorny pricker bushes which grow over into m yard through the fence. Yesterday I went outside and started chopping at them so that it won't get out of control when the summer approaches and I was able to clear out a section that completely gets out of hand. I want to know if there is anything out there that can kill the root of these bushes, or if there is something that I can do or use to get rid of them?
