My husband is set on naming our son after him (his name is Shaquille). Quite frankly I hate the name and I don't want my sons name to be the same as his. My husband goes by Shaq and I was my son to have a different name. I tried explaining this to him and he said we can just have a nickname for him like DJ (Last name starts with a D, and J stands for Junior) or something like that, but I really just want him to have his own name! I'm so torn because I know it means a lot to him to have his son named after him and to have a junior, but it's killing me to think I have to deal with my son being named that for the rest of his life

My son is going to be named Shaquille after his father, but we are going to give him a different middle name and call him by his middle name to differentiate them. What would be a good middle name?

BQ: my husband would like his nickname to be SJ (Shaq Junior), does that sound weird to say or would that be okay for people to understand?

I'm looking for a unique name for my half black, quarter white, quarter Puerto Rican baby girl. I want a name that is pretty and feminine, but isn't overused. So far, I like Malika and Amaya, even though I know Amaya is very overused. Any other suggestions would be very appreciated! (Also, the Puerto Rican part of their family is going to have Spanish speakers so I would like names that aren't difficult for Spanish speakers to say)

I really love the idea of a backyard/outdoor wedding! I think they're just so beautiful, but I don't have a big enough backyard, nor do I know anyone with a yard big enough. My boyfriend and I are both seniors in high school, and have been dating for 4 months, and we both truly think that we were meant to be together. We have the same morals and beliefs, we want the same things out of life, we both want to live in the same type of area (in a small town, about an hour out of the city), we want the same number of kids, we're both very family oriented, we're very comfortable with each other, i feel comfortable enough to talk to him about things i would never tell anyone else, and so does he. We make each other laugh all the time, we both are very understanding of each other and even when we fight, we always listen to each other and work things out. We just seem like we're perfect for each other, and i've never felt this way about anyone before (and i've had long-term boyfriends before, the longest was 2 years) and he's the only one i've felt this way with. It's the first time i've ever felt comfortable letting someone see me without make-up on or talk about uncomfortable things with. My question is, do you think this is just young love, that's not real, and we're just naive? Or do you think this is true love that will last? I know we haven't been dating for that long, but we've been through alot and have handled it so well together. He's like my best friend, and my other half. Is this love real? or not? please help me.
