  • Do you have or know where to find a specific quiche recipe?

A friend of mine gave this recipe to me, and I have been unable to locate it since I moved. It was made with Jimmy Dean sausage and frozen broccoli. I think it also had some sort of cream soup in it, and it went into a basic pie crust. I have searched thru several recipe sites to no avail. It was so good! I cannot believe I can't find it! Here's hoping someone here comes thru! Thanks.

  • Both sexes -Your wisdom-did you listen and learn, or have to learn it all through the school of hard knocks?

And whichever is your answer, what in your personality or the way you were brought up, do you think led you to choose that path?

I had a very stable, loving environment as a child, but I have always been headstrong and independent, and very free spirited. Almost all of my wisdom comes from having learned it the hard way, lol. Come on wise ones, how'd you get so smart?

  • Ladies Over 30- Do you like the bare minerals make up?

Just curious...thinking of trying it, but wonder about it drying my skin- any feedback? Any particular brands that you've tried and liked or disliked?

  • Did you ever have a best day and a worst day all in one?

Life can be so weird at times and seemingly unfair. Have you ever had a day that was totally wonderful because something great happened, only to have it fall apart because of something else happened that was tragic or just crappy? Or vice-versa, it was awful, and then it got great?

  • Whats your opinion of your ex? Or exes?

Do you regret the day you met? Wish things had ended up differently?

Remember wonderful times, but know that he or she is an ex for good reason? Tell us about it.

Me, best of times, worst of times - I remember the good, left the bad, and I'm at peace and happy.

  • People come into our lives for many reasons- who came into yours, and no one knows why they were there?

Except you. Maybe they are long gone, Maybe recently departed. Maybe they wreaked a lot of havoc, left a lot of wreckage, caused hurt feelings, whatever...and most of your friends and family simply don't see the things that you learned, the lessons they taught you, the strength that they instilled in you...anyone that comes to mind? Why?

  • 2 songs and artists-?

Lol, they play these all the time on country station, but I change music types all the time, and haven't been able to catch them when I was listening. Thanks!

    Lines from first one-

Chicken fried, cold beer on a Friday night, a pair of jeans that fit just right and the radio up (on?) - stars and stripes and freedom etc.

Other one, a few lines - this world keeps spinning faster, headed toward a new disaster, and I run to you, when lies become the truth, I run to you

If you could only put one line there to sum up your thoughts or feelings about women?

  • At the risk of sounding naive or totally stupid, what is a bunny boiler?

I've seen this term in GWS a couple of different times now, and I really seriously have not a clue what it means or references? If it's something bad and I shouldn't be asking here, sorry folks, but I haven't been able to figure it out using context, lol. Enlighten me please?

  • Sexual past? How much do you want to know about your partner, and how much do you really tell?

    warning- this is long, lol!

An answer someone posted on here a few days ago prompted this question. She spoke of her best friend lying to her fiance that he was her 3rd partner, when she had well over 50.

Personally, I'm very open with my partner, and we discuss past experiences easily. I believe health status is an absolute "right to know" kind of thing, but I would not ask him "how many" partners he's had, and he's never asked me, even though we've discussed tons of other stuff in great detail.

I know that many lie about this, and some women justify it by saying men are insecure about it. I understand the rationale, but it disturbs me.

    Both sexes -

Do you want to know or care how many?

If yes, what's the magic number for you and what does it mean for you?

would you be with someone who asks how many?

would you answer the question honestly if your partner asked?

I'm just really curious to hear your thoughts on this, and as this is a pretty diverse group, I think there'll be some interesting responses.

    Thanks for reading thru!

  • What's your first reaction when you see someone getting a traffic ticket?

Do you automatically feel sorry for the person, or do you tend to lean in the other direction and feel glad that he or she got caught? Why?

  • Both sexes-has your preference for a certain "type" of physical appearance changed?

And what do you think influenced it, if it did? Was there a defining moment, a gradual shift, or anything specific that comes to mind?

I'm referring to initial physical attraction to someone, based on your personal definition of attractive, and your likes.

Certain characteristics still appeal to me, but mine has changed quite significantly over time, and I just wonder if others have experienced the same thing.

I can't decide if the change is a result of specific personal experiences or just a shift in taste.

  • What are your thoughts on prostitution and porn as viable career choices?

They certainly have profit potential, and Sam F's question about a woman being a prostitute really made me think. Many people said they would respect her, and not judge, but when you take it to the next level and consider the possibility that she chose it as a career and is happy with no intention of changing it, do your feelings change at all?

Making cookies to send to my guy in Iraq. There are so many chocolate chip cookie recipes out here. Do you have one that's tried and true, maybe a little different, or just really "special?"

Thanks for any you'd be willing to share!

  • Do you think that the the government should have the right to impose mandatory birth control at times?

I know this is a loaded question, and I realize that there are ethical dilemmas about who would make the determinations about when it should be allowed and under what circumstances. However, in cases where severe, extreme child abuse has been proven, for example, do you feel the rights of future innocent children and society outweigh individual rights? For example, this mother in Florida who who will not even serve jail time after having parental rights terminated for raising her 6 year old daughter like an animal (46 lbs, unable to speak, in a small room surrounded by dirty diapers, infested with lice and roaches.) As much as I am an advocate of personal freedom, I believe it comes with responsibility. This woman has the freedom to go right out and get pregnant again. Appalling. I do think mandatory birth control should be an option. Your thoughts?
