What drugs smell: sweet? burning plastic? skunk?

One of roommates uses drug, the others don't use, but smelt those smells different time, would affect the non-drug-smokers?

How the ones not using drug can test if he/she got affect by smelling it?

We put a security camera in Front door for Security Reasons, honestly 100%.

This trouble tenant often brought different strange people in the house. We dont feel safe as we have 2 years old running around.

But he brought people in again & to prevent those people are seen on the camera, he used the flashlight straightly pointed at the camera.

We live in San Francisco, law gives too much protection to tenants. So dont need to advice to kick him out.

What should we do except kicking him out?

Hi all,

The lease said No over night guest. But this tenant has different women stayed over and never told the landlord.

Are those women are trespassed the property?

Should the landlord call the police on trespassing?

Call local police or emergency police?

One time, one of the women banged on the door for over 20 mins around 2am. The landlord called 911 but they said no damage, they can't do anything.

So would any women who stayed over are concerned trespass and which police, local or emergency, should landlord call?

Does IRS record the date people call ,talk to them? and the date they sent out notices/letters to people? Can we go online to see that?

When we run water, we hear strange sounds going down, the sound seems around the wall.

We checked, it happens in all floors, bathrooms and sink.

We have trouble tenant and believe he did somethings because we heard 2 times he turned water on and off constantly for so long in 2 bathrooms. Not sure how many more times he did it and we did know.

Now within 3 weeks since he did that. the water running down with strange sound for 3-4 days up till now.

What happens with the water?

And what did he do to damage any part that we should directly check it?

Hi all,

I smell burning on and off in my room, but my husband said he didnt smell anything and the room is sealed up.

However, one time one guy burnt papers outside and I told my husband I smell someone burning something. He went out and checked, yes, he saw the guy. Therefore, the room is not sealed up as he believed.

When I smelled it and it bothered me because I cant swallow the water in my mouth, just spit out often, that caused for my throat too dry, that I feel hurt everytime I drank water, its like rubbing on the opened wound in the throat.

The smell is sometimes like plastic, sometimes like smoking, and sometime like metal too,... But I told my husband many times, now he says I have problem with my sense.

I know I dont have problem with my sense, because one time, one tanant texted me and said that she smelt plastic burning. But she left over a year already, now I ask the other tanants, I guess these tanants dont want to involve in other people issues and said their noses lost senses, cant smell, they have cold these days, cant tell,.

Any help to find out where the burning come from? I checked all around the public areas and my room and dont have anything wrong, the only areas I dont check is the privacy of the tanants. I dont want they put a bad eye on me, special, if not find anything in their room. But what can I do to get rid of the smell? I am not i dont have the sense problem.

He is not my friend, but my husband's friend.

He is the reason caused my marriage relationship like in a nightmare for years. We almost got divorced, but then we have a son, and my husband decided to be away from this guy, but he kept texting my husband especially at midnight, 1, 2 or 3 A.M.

Last time, my husband replied him and said dont text him anymore, but the guy still kept texting around late night and early morning again and again.

What should we do with this guy?

We rent ROOMS to TANANTS in the San Francisco single house. I heard about rent control, a lot of law favor tanants in San Francisco.

I just became a US citizen and want to bring my parents to come for a few months visit. It could take up at least 6 months as my dad said it would wasting money to come to the US for a short period. We must prepare a room for my parents. We don't know how to ask a tanant to leave because they may say why we choose that room instead of the other rooms? Would they cause any problem for us?

I have read some tanants and landlords questions. And I see Tanants faults but want to bring lawsuits.

Why do they think they are always victims?

Is it because Tanant Unions give them that feelings? or, they want to move with 3 times $$$ more?
