My professor wrote on my assignment that I had copied my assignment from online and gave me a 0. The assignment was to type a press release on an Apple product. He gave us a copy of the information of the press release but the information was out of order or there were repeated information. When I worked on the assignment, I read over each sentence and numbered certain sentences and tried putting them into sequence to form a press release. Since I was a bit confused on the format of how a press release should look, I went on the Apple website to look and see how it was formatted. I didn't use the Apple website to copy the press release, however. The only reason I went on the website was just to get a better understanding of what a press release should look like since I have never typed a press release before in my life. My point is, is that my intention was not to cheat/plagiarize or do anything of that nature. I just wanted to do the assignment to the best of my ability and more importantly get a clear idea on how to write a press release on my own so that I could get the assignment done and turned in for the next day. My professor and I are going to have a meeting about this and I am a bit nervous as to what will happen.

So recently, I have been having internet problems and have literally tried everything to fix it and get it back to normal. The connection has been very inconsistent and whenever the internet loses connection there is a caution sign logo that is displayed. My family and I called Time Warner and they had a guy come out to our house but he could not help and did not seem to know what he was doing so I went to the Time Warner store to get a new modem because I thought the modem was the problem. Today, my TV was having a bit of a problem and it happened right when my internet connection went down again. I have a digital cable box in my room so I unscrewed the splitter cable that connects from my digital cable box to my wall and as I did that and screwed the splitter back in place, my internet connection is connected back to the internet. I figured it might have been some kind of coincidence but I have tried it more than once and it works. Any word of advice? Thanks.

I drive around Glendale very frequently and I see A LOT (not all) of Armenians that drive so fast and reckless. They tailgate you, swerve in between lanes and cut people off. I don't understand why they always drive like they're in a rush or trying to be ahead of people especially when there's a red light approaching. You're gonna have to stop just like everyone else lol. Doesn't make sense. This is all curiosity and something I've observed personally.

I'm sure you've heard that Matt Kemp is on the trade block, but I have been thinking about who would the Dodgers get in return if they traded Kemp to 1 of these 3 teams.

Scenario #1

Detroit gets Matt Kemp

Dodgers get Andy Dirks, Phil Coke, and perhaps two other prospects. By acquiring Dirks the Dodgers get a solid left handed bat for their OF. Bringing Coke to L.A. gives the Dodgers a second LHP option for their bullpen to go along Paco Rodriguez. The other prospect or two would be a throw to match up the money.

Scenario #2

Boston gets Matt Kemp

Dodgers get Boegarts, Lavarnway, a pitcher from their bullpen (Breslow or Miller), and a prospect.

Boegarts solves the SS/3B issue the Dodgers currently have. By acquiring Boegarts, the Dodgers will have a SS for the future that will allow Hanley to move to 3B and thus could prevent future lingering injuries he has had last season. Lavarnway would potentially be the Dodgers' future starting catcher with AJ Ellis getting older. Lavarnway could compete w/ FedEx for the backup catcher role and who ever plays the best would get the backup spot. Breslow or Miller would be a situational lefty/middle reliever.

Scenario #3

Seattle gets Matt Kemp

Dodgers get Tijuan Walker, Nick Franklin, and a prospect or two.

Walker is Seattle's #1 prospect and would instantly be put into the rotation. Franklin would either start at 2B or 3B (most likely 3B w/ the arrival of Alex Guerrero), and prospect(s) is a throw in.

So at my school (college) there was a guest speaker and he spoke for about an hour and after that we were broken into groups where we basically analyzed how the book's themes tie into our school's community and what can our school do to become more diverse. I happen to be in this girl's group who I know since we have a class together. After the event was over, I asked the girl (who's in one of my classes) for her number and she blatantly tells me that her number is unavailable right as she's walking and texting and I'm just thinking to myself, "Are you serious?" And then I tell her, "Wow I see how it is." but it wasn't in a serious, angry way. More of a playful way. It was pretty awkward as well since a couple of her friends were around and I basically got turned down. (Oh well). I think a lot of girls these days tend to already have assumptions about all guys and that the only thing they want is "sex" from them but my goal wasn't to only get in her pants and find another girl. Obviously I find her attractive which is why I asked, but I definitely am not a player type for 1 and 2 as I just said I don't use girls for sex. I'm not upset or trying to make a big deal about this but I just wanted to get an understanding from a girl/women's perspective 'cause it was pretty weird for me. Usually when I ask a girl for her number she just gives it to me w/o a problem. Couple of more things I wanted to add is that she's Armenian and I'm Black so maybe that has a lot to do with it. I have Starks and Bell on my bench but don't know if I should start them.

Problem #1: Need a stop-gap at RB for Steven Jackson. Joique Bell or James Starks or Bernard Pierce who's on the waiver wire at RB?

Problem #2: Vernon Davis is questionable and the game is a late start therefore I wouldn't be able to change my lineup if he doesn't play. I'm thinking about using someone else this week. I have Hartline and the other 3 RB's I listed in Problem #1.

In other words, you have to wait until there's a dead ball before you can go sit down. Why exactly is this?

Just curious... but why is it more funny to joke about Black people and fried chicken than it is a Chinese person eating rice or a Mexican person eating a burrito? Everybody knows damn well they love fried chicken! LOL.

P.S. Don't come on here trying to give me a speech about race or call me racist. I'm just askin' a simple question. I've seen a hella lot of jokes about Black people and KFC and it gets old real fast. Just sayin.'

I need advice. So a girl I had been with for about 6 months is leaving to go back to Germany since she's an exchange student and it's something that's very hard for me. I never been really close to a girl like that. We mutually decided to break up about a month before she left. Though we're not together, I still feel like we're still together (yeah it sounds weird). She says she will still write to me and communicate with me but I feel like I should never talk to her again because it's only going to make me sad and want her back here with me but at the same time I feel that wouldn't be the right thing to do. I don't think of her as a friend. In August, I'll be an incoming freshman in college and I know there'll be girls there but I miss this girl so much and we had such a great relationship. I want to join a league that is casual and has guys that play the right way. I know many leagues that are sim have adults but I'm 17--don't know if that'd be a problem but I'm mature for my age.

Okay so I'm 17 years old and so far throughout high school the ladies haven't shown much interest in me. I try talking to them and showing interest but it seems like they don't do the same. I've been talking to this girl who added me on Facebook on around October of 2011. The funny thing was, was that it was by accident and she so happened to be neighbor's/friends with a girl I know. Anyways, we've been talking for a long time, but we haven't even met yet. (Yes I know it's pretty weird). We've gotten into a few arguments because every time I ask her what school she goes to she never tells me and I end up getting frustrated with her. I've told my mom about her and she thinks that it's a red flag sign that this girl isn't right for me, because she can't tell me a simple thing as in what school she goes to. There's always that thing telling me in the back of my head that, "momma knows best" but I don't know if I should try and meet this girl and talk to her or what. We just started talking back again on Friday after another argument and I don't know if I should keep it going.
