I would like suggestions that people have tried and have worked. My side yard looks terrible. I have a 6 month old Lab, very smart, but digs holes seemingly because of the heat, I live in florida by the way. Help!

I have a house built in the 80's and the kitchen is still the same. The window is over the sink and used to look outside until whoever had the house before us closed in the carport. Now when I look out the window during dish time all i see is my mud room. Should we take the window out and dry wall over the area or is there a way I can keep it and make it look nice? I already know I want a pendant light over the sink to dress it up, but what else can I do?

It says you can use it for baking, but I wonder how it REALLY turns out. I wanna make chocolate chip cookies. I do however have 1 tbsp butter i can use along with the smart balance. Anyone ever had success using it?

I had just turned the burner off and it was still very hot when i was adding my spinach to my dish on the other side of the stove. Well the plastic bag touched the eye of the stove and melted all over it. I didnt know what to do so i let it cool and it is still sitting in there. Any ideas of how to get it off? My husband and I canned our homemade salsa today. We live in the city and was wondering if it was the city water that made a white powdery residue on the outside of all the jars after every thing is done. Has this ever happened to anyone and is our salsa safe?

Me and my husband just made donuts for the first time. We didnt have a temperature gauge to put in the oil but finally figured out to have the burner on a little higher than medium. They turned out ok. Maybe it was the recipe. I dont know. Any expert donut makers out there have any tips?

I used 1 quart of water, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup salt. Do i need to rinse the meat under cold water to remove the salt off of it or is it ok to cook it like that with the brine still on it? Also do I need to add additional salt right before i cook it, because i want to make a rub for it?

I cant remember much about this movie so it might be a longshot here. It was about a couple who had a very happy life except her husband was giving her pills for some sickness she had and he was altering the pills so she couldnt remember what happened in the past. Little by little she figures out he is a very bad guy and she eventually remembers everything because she stops taking the pills. It was a great movie. Anyone know the name of it or even the stars names in it?

I have been referred to a cardiologist because my cholesterol is a little high (214) however my good cholesterol is 50. The thing the doctor was really concerned with was the high crp levels. Mine was a 12 when normal is anywhere from 0-3. I am 33 yr old female and i dont know if i have heart disease yet but until i can get help paying for all the tests with a cardiologist i have been taking aspirin every day. I started out taking 4 cause i didnt know how much to take. Then went down to 3 then 2 now 1. If i stop all of a sudden will my blood just go back to normal before i started taking it, or will it be more thick?

My cat threw up some greenish liquid. His water bowl is tinted with the same color too. Is he ok? Has anyone ever had this happen?

I want to make a pot roast using red wine but i just found out I only have 1/4 cup and the recipe calls for 1/2 cup. I have white wine, can I mix the two or should I mix it with beef broth. I still want to use the wine I do have, so what should I do? I dont know enough about flavors, will it matter if i mix it?

Without tomato paste? I have cans of petite diced tomatoes and tomato sauce but not paste. I have all the other ingredients to make it as well. Do i just need to cook it down to be thick or do i need to run out to get paste?
